Closed-form normalized expressions for the field components inside a single-layer rectangular solenoid are derived from a model in which the solenoid is approximated by finite length current sheets of infinitesimal thickness. The equations are extended by superposition to include the case of a multi-layered solenoid, and the effects of nearby magnetic materials are included by employing the method of images. The main purpose of this paper is to provide the ideal flight crew combination for instructor and student pilots in order to enhance the flight training effects based on Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) theory. In addition to personality, various levels of flight difficulty are considered in order to investigate their potential interaction effect in terms of student pilots' mental workload measured in heart rate, altitude deviation, NASA-TLX (Task Load Index) and subjective degree of personality harmony. Based on an experiment performed in a real flight situation, we found significant effects of personality combinations in terms of all four outcome measures. Both group C types of instructors and students who are concrete, realistic and have mechanical skills turn out to be the ideal flight crew combination. A structural equation model, fitted to analyse causality among the four response variables, implied that as the heart rate increased, the altitude deviation increased. In addition, as the altitude deviation and personality harmony increased, NASA-TLX increased. The results of this study are expected to provide a theoretical basis for manning the flight crew combinations and thereby enhancing the efficiency of flight training.  相似文献

Catalytic combustion for applying heat shrink sleeves (HSS) to a pipeline in KOGAS was investigated. We used a low temperature catalytic combustor in order to place HSS in the conduit. The surface temperature of the catalytic combustor maintained the conditions at which HSS can become well-adhesive at the conduit. Therefore, the automatic HSS construction provided the chance to establish gas pipeline safety by an automatic catalytic combustor device.  相似文献

EALQR (Linear Quadratic Regulator design with Eigenstructure Assignment capability) has the capability of exact assignment of eigenstructure with the guaranteed margins of the LQR for MIMO (Multi-Input Multi-Output) systems. However, EALQR undergoes a restriction on the state-weighting matrixQ in LQR to be indefinite with respect to the region of allowable closed-loop eigenvalues. The definiteness of the weighting matrix is closely related to the robustness property of a given system. In this paper, we derive a relation between the indefinite weighting matrix Q and the robustness property for EALQR. The modified frequency domain inequality, that could be guaranteed by EQLQR with an indefinite weighting matrix, is presented.  相似文献

The crystal structure of (Ba1–x La x )[Mg(1 + x)/3Nb(2–x)/3]O3 (BLMN) ceramics with 0 x 1 was investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). When the La content, x, was above 0.1, the 1:2 ordered hexagonal structure found in Ba(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 (BMN) was transformed into the 1:1 ordered cubic structure. The 1:1 ordered cubic structure was maintained up to x = 0.7. When x exceeded 0.7, however, BLMN exhibited a 1:1 ordered monoclinic structure, rather than a 1:1 ordered cubic structure. La(Mg2/3Nb1/3)O3 (LMN) has a 1:1 ordered monoclinic P21/n structure with a = 5.6004 Å, b = 5.6414 Å, c = 7.9346 Å, and = 89.9819°. The monoclinic LMN has the in-phase and the anti-phase tilt of oxygen octahedra. The anti-parallel shift of A-site cations was also found in LMN.  相似文献

A capillary tube is a common expansion device used in small sized refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. A generalized correlation for refrigerant flow rate in adiabatic capillary tubes is developed by implementing dimensionless parameters based on extensive experimental data for R-22, R-290, and R-407C measured in this study. Dimensionless parameters are derived from the Buckingham Pi theorem, considering the effects of tube inlet conditions, capillary tube geometry, and refrigerant properties on mass flow rate. The generalized correlation yields good agreement with the present data for R-22, R-290, and R-407C with average and standard deviations of 0.9 and 5.0%, respectively. Approximately 97% of the present data are correlated within a relative deviation of ±10%. Further assessments of the correlation are made by comparing the predictions with measured data for R-12, R-134a, R-152a, R-410A, and R-600a in the open literature. The correlation predicts the data for those five refrigerants with average and standard deviations of −0.73 and 6.16%, respectively.  相似文献

The effects of off-focusing and beam deflection on polarimetric stress measurements of optical fibers are investigated. A simple method for reducing the distortion of the phase retardation caused by unwanted beam deflections in residual stress measurement is introduced. The method is examined numerically by ray-tracing techniques and experimentally by use of hollow silica fibers into which various index-matching liquids have been inserted. An autofocusing technique is introduced. The error in stress measurement reproducibility was determined to be less than 4%. We tested the absolute error in measured stress by applying incremental external tension and determined that it is less than 0.464 MPa.  相似文献

Due to rapid change of fiber orientation, it is difficult to measure myocardial impedivity separately in a longitudinal or transverse fiber direction without mutual influence in the two directions. Previously published values of the longitudinal and the transverse myocardial impedivity were derived indirectly from measurements that mixed the impedivity in all directions. Those values are questionable because the derivations were based on a simplified uniform myocardial fiber model. In this paper, a miniature rectangular tube was devised to facilitate direct measurement of myocardial impedivity in a uniform fiber direction. The average transverse-to-longitudinal ratio of the measured in vitro swine myocardial impedivity was about 1.66 from 1 Hz to 1 kHz and dropped to 1.25 at 1 MHz. The result is important for accurate modeling of the electrical property of myocardium in biomedical research of radio-frequency cardiac catheter ablation.  相似文献
