We observed zinc oxide structures formed in an oxygen-containing atmosphere as a result of oxidation of the surface of zinc droplets. The gas-phase oxidation leads to the formation of hollow ZnO whiskers on the metal surface, which grow due to the transport of zinc vapor through their channels. It was found that high partial pressures of zinc and atomic oxygen give rise to fractal structures, which appear in a cascade process involving the sequential formation of zinc oxide vapor, ZnO clusters, and cluster aggregates as a result of the cluster-cluster interaction. A deposit of ZnO synthesized on the cathode surface exhibits a columnar structure.  相似文献

The photoelectric properties of cotton fibers treated with iodine were studied in the fundamental absorption range. The samples exhibit a sublinear illumination-current characteristic and a long-term relaxation of photoconductivity (PC) after UV irradiation (=5 eV) of the iodine-doped fibers. A PC mechanism is proposed which explains both the nonlinear variation of photocurrent with illumination intensity and the PC decay according to a bimolecular recombination law after UV irradiation of the iodine-doped fiber in the fundamental absorption range.  相似文献

Conclusions An attempt has been made to use the KÉ-250-ShS machine for twisting acetate yarns.It has been found that in developing a new twisting machine it is advisable to use a checkerboard disposition of the spindles in its lower part with the objective of reducing the noise level, and also to use pedal braking to stop the spindles. A steady flow of a bubble gas-liquid mixture in a nozzle having a circular cross section has been investigated. The possibility of realization of superhigh temperatures and pressures in the gas phase of the mixture in the region near the smallest cross section of the nozzle has been analyzed. A method is proposed to monitor the shape of an atomic force microscope tip, which can combine the operations of ion etching and shape monitoring, by using the intensity of the backscattering of ions from the same or a different beam to monitor the shape.
