Highly purified polycrystalline wafers of Zr and Hf were chosen as substrates for diamond deposition by means of the d.c. arc discharge plasma CVD method. Polycrystalline diamond films were formed on both substrates. Scanning electron microscopy and high resolution X-ray diffraction were used to investigate the surface morphology of the diamond films and the composition of the interface layers between the diamond films and substrates. The experiments showed that the transition layer between the diamond films and Zr substrates was ZrC, ZrH and ZrC0.32H1.2. For Hf substrates, in addition to HfC, it is supposed that there were also some hydrides or carbohydrides in the transition layer, because several X-ray reflections appeared which could not be assigned to Hf, HfC or diamond. 相似文献

The presence of wall slip during the flow of polymeric melts has significant ramifications on the melts' processability. In this study, the effects of materials of construction and surface roughness on the wall slip behavior of a linear low density polyethylene were investigated, using capillary flow. Capillaries, constructed from copper, stainless steel, aluminum, and glass, were used. The inner surface roughness of the capillaries were characterized by the employment of a profilometer and scanning electron microscopy. The roughness profiles of copper capillaries were also altered by the employment of chemical etching. Using Mooney's analysis, the wall slip velocity values were determined to be in the range of 0.09 to 1.34 mm/s. The wall slip velocity values were the highest for stainless steel and were negligible for aluminum. The relative work of adhesion values of polyethylene were the smallest for stainless steel and copper and the highest for glass. Overall, the wall slip velocity values increased with decreasing surface roughness of the capillaries and with decreasing work of adhesion. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 相似文献

A step‐index polymer optical fiber (SI POF) containing Rhodamine B in poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) has been fabricated by a preform technique. Fluorescence of different fiber lengths were observed and discussed. A high gain (23 dB) for a SI POF with 60‐cm length, 400‐μm diameter was obtained. The Rhodamine B content of the doped SI POF is 5 ppm‐wt. The signal wavelength providing the highest gain for a 60 cm SI POF is around 630 nm, and the optimum fiber length is about 60 cm at 10 kW launched pump power. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, the solubility of 4-nitroimidazole in twelve pure solvents (toluene, benzene, 1,4-dioxane, acetonitrile, ethyl acetate, acetone, GBL, ethanol, methanol, n-butanol, DMF and NMP) were determined by using the laser monitoring system from 278.15 K to 323.15 K under 101.1 kPa, which are 0.00018-0.00070, 0.00021-0.00073, 0.00034-0.00092, 0.00038-0.00142, 0.00047-0.00120, 0.00126-0.00303, 0.00225-0.00517, 0.00310-0.00724, 0.00467-0.00982, 0.00453-0.01940, 0.01947-0.04652, and 0.04670-0.07452, respectively. At constant temperature, the mole fraction solubility of 4-nitroimidazole were increased as the following order: toluene < benzene < 1,4-dioxane < (ethyl acetate or acetonitrile) < acetone < GBL < ethanol < (methanol or nbutanol) < DMF < NMP, and the solubility of 4-nitroimidazole in (ethyl acetate, acetonitrile) and (methanol, n-butanol) had an intersection point at 297.55 K and 281.85 K, respectively. The solubility of 4-nitroimidazole could be increased with increasing temperature in twelve pure solvents. The ideal model, modified Apelblat equation, polynomial empirical equation, and λh equation were used to correlate the experimental values. The experimental solubility values were employed to calculate the standard dissolution enthalpy, standard dissolution entropy and Gibbs energy. The dissolution of 4-nitroimidazole could be an endothermic process in twelve pure solvents. The determination and fitting solubility of 4-nitroimidazole have important guiding significance for the purification and crystallization of its preparation process. 相似文献

A capillary tube model was solved to investigate the influence of mass transfer coefficient, temperature, and front depth on the evaporation rate during the penetrating-front period of water-filled porous media dried in hot air. The results show that increasing the flow rate of the drying air is not so efficient as increasing the sample temperature. Due to attenuating diffusion rate, the rate of liquid front migration decreases with time. The calculations explain the falling rate period behavior of sandstone heated at 121°C. Trends depicted by the model may be useful for the design of heating conditions for drying processes. 相似文献

Reactive dyes have almost complete exhaustion and ideal fixation on aminated polyepichlorohydrin pretreated silk without addition of salt or alkali. The effects of varying pretreatments and dyeing conditions were studied. The dyeing behaviour of CI Reactive Red 15 on modified silk under pH 6 was investigated. Dyeings of modified silk showed good wash fastness, dry and wet rub fastnesses as well as light fastness. The quality of the dyed silks obtained after pretreatment was shown to be satisfactory and the dyeing effluent was less polluted. 相似文献

Noises are inevitably introduced in digital image acquisition processes, and thus image denoising is still a hot research problem. Different from local methods operating on local regions of images, the non-local methods utilize non-local information (even the whole image) to accomplish image denoising. Due to their superior performance, the non-local methods have recently drawn more and more attention in the image denoising community. However, these methods generally do not work well in handling complicated noises with different levels and types. Inspired by the fact in machine learning field that multi-kernel methods are more robust and effective in tackling complex problems than single-kernel ones, we establish a general non-local denoising model based on multi-kernel-induced measures (GNLMKIM for short), which provides us a platform to analyze some existing and design new filters. With the help of GNLMKIM, we reinterpret two well-known non-local filters in the united view and extend them to their novel multi-kernel counterparts. The comprehensive experiments indicate that these novel filters achieve encouraging denoising results in both visual effect and PSNR index. 相似文献
