The particle dispersion phenomena in a turbulent gas jet of the flash-smelting process have been investigated. The particle number density in a nonreacting jet was measured experimentally by taking photographs of the particles in flight and counting them using the image analysis technique. Numerical computations were also performed using a mathematical model for a turbulent particle-laden gas jet. The experimental particle number density data were then compared with the predicted results of the model. Good agreement was obtained between the experimental and predicted data. The effects of the parameters such as the injector design, particle loading, and air flow rate are discussed. Optimization of the concentrate burner design can be achieved with the help of experimental and theoretical simulations as performed in this work. BWR core-wide stability is studied from the viewpoint of linear dynamic stability treated via poles of a closed-loop transfer function. The quantitative study is performed using a BWR noise model describing neutronic and thermal-hydraulic core dynamics. Transfer functions of neutron power to reactivity and core inlet flow are derived in explicit forms and their poles are evaluated both numerically and analytically. It is shown that the characteristic poles may be classed into three groups relating to neutronic process, fuel heat transfer and core void dynamics. In particular, the poles for the void dynamics take complex values and hence give rise to core-wide damped oscillation of neutron power. Furthermore, the study of characteristic poles serves for the stability analysis of the Ringhals-1 benchmark test data. It is shown and clarified that two stability indexes, decay ratio and resonance frequency, have clear dependence on reactor power and core inlet flow.  相似文献

Aluminum borocarbide powders (Al3BC3 and Al8B4C7) were synthesized, and the ternary powders were used as a sintering additive of SiC. The densification of SiC was nearly completed at 1670 °C using spark plasma sintering (SPS) and pressureless sintering was possible at 1950 °C. The sintering behavior of SiC using the new additive systems was nearly identical with that using the conventional Al–B–C system, but grain growth was suppressed when adding the borocarbides. In addition, oxidation of the fine additive powders did not intensively occur in air, which has been a problem in the case of the Al–B–C system for industrial application. The hardness, Young's modulus and fracture toughness of a sintered SiC specimen were 21.6 GPa, 439 GPa and 4.6 MPa m1/2, respectively. The ternary borocarbide powders are efficient sintering additives of SiC.  相似文献

Graphene oxide (GO) cast on conductive substrates was electrochemically reduced in some organic solvents. The amount of electricity required for the almost complete reduction of GO was 2.0 C for 1 mg GO, corresponding to attaching of a one-electron reducible species to each benzene ring in graphene. The electrochemically reduced GO film gave an electrical conductivity of about 3 S cm−1 and exhibited a relatively high specific capacitance of 147.2 F g−1 in propylene carbonate. The electrochemical reduction of GO was feasible on Al foils as well.  相似文献

γ‐Stearidonic acid, 18:4n‐6, a potential product of β‐oxidation of arachidonic acid (20:4n‐6), was only recently positively identified in a living organism—a thermophilic cyanobacterium Tolypothrix sp., albeit at low levels, whilst some indirect evidence suggests its wider presence, e.g. in a unicellular marine alga. We have prepared 18:4n‐6 using an iodolactonisation chain‐shortening approach from 22:5n‐6 and obtained its 1H‐, 13C‐, COSY‐ and HSQC NMR spectra, with 18:5n‐3 spectra also recorded for a comparison. The GC and GC‐MS behaviour of its methyl ester was also studied. Like another Δ3 polyunsaturated acid, octadecapentaenoic (18:5n‐3), 18:4n‐6 rapidly yields 2‐trans isomer upon formation of dimethyloxazoline derivative. On a polar ionic liquid phase (SLB‐IL100, 200 °C) the methyl ester could be mistaken for 18:3n‐3, while on methylsilicone phase (BP1, 210 °C) it eluted ahead of 18:3n‐6 and 18:4n‐3, suggesting that when present it may be easily misidentified during GC analysis of fatty acids.  相似文献

Our previous study found that glycation with uronic acid-type reducing sugar enhanced the anti-inflammatory effect of fish myofibrillar protein (Mf) via the Maillard reaction, and the molecular mechanism of enhanced anti-inflammatory effect was investigated in this study. Mf was glycated with various reducing sugars at 60 °C and 35% relative humidity. After pepsin-trypsin digestion, the anti-inflammatory effects were evaluated by assessing secretions of pro-inflammatory cytokines and expressions of LPS-stimulated signalling pathway-related genes in RAW 264.7 macrophages. Mf glycated with uronic acid-type reducing sugars: glucuronic acid, galacturonic acid and alginate oligosaccharide, suppressed expression of cd14 and further suppressed expressions of tlr4 and myd88 comparing with intact and glycated Mf with glucose and galactose. Furthermore, uronic acid-glycated Mf significantly suppressed expressions and secretions of pro-inflammatory cytokines. The results indicate that uronic acid-type glycation enhances anti-inflammatory effect of Mf by attenuating expression of cd14 and enhancing the Mf-induced suppression in TLR4-MyD88-dependent inflammatory signalling pathway.  相似文献

Pain is one of the most severe concerns in tongue cancer patients. However, the underlying mechanisms of tongue cancer pain are not fully understood. We investigated the molecular mechanisms of tongue cancer-induced mechanical allodynia in the tongue by squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) inoculation in rats. The head-withdrawal threshold of mechanical stimulation (MHWT) to the tongue was reduced following SCC inoculation, which was inhibited by intracisternal administration of 10Panx, an inhibitory peptide for pannexin 1 (PANX1) channels. Immunohistochemical analyses revealed that the expression of PANX1 was upregulated in the trigeminal spinal subnucleus caudalis (Vc) following SCC inoculation. The majority of PANX1 immunofluorescence was merged with ionized calcium-binding adapter molecule 1 (Iba1) fluorescence and a part of it was merged with glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) fluorescence. Spike frequencies of Vc nociceptive neurons to noxious mechanical stimulation were significantly enhanced in SCC-inoculated rats, which was suppressed by intracisternal 10Panx administration. Phosphorylated extracellular signal-regulated kinase (pERK)-immunoreactive (IR) neurons increased significantly in the Vc after SCC inoculation, which was inhibited by intracisternal 10Panx administration. SCC inoculation-induced MHWT reduction and increased pERK-IR Vc neuron numbers were inhibited by P2X7 purinoceptor (P2X7R) antagonism. Conversely, these effects were observed in the presence of P2X7R agonist in SCC-inoculated rats with PANX1 inhibition. SCC inoculation-induced MHWT reduction was significantly recovered by intracisternal interleukin-1 receptor antagonist administration. These observations suggest that SCC inoculation causes PANX1 upregulation in Vc microglia and adenosine triphosphate released through PANX1 sensitizes nociceptive neurons in the Vc, resulting in tongue cancer pain.  相似文献

IgA, previously called Henoch-Schönlein vasculitis, is an essential immune component that drives the host immune response to the external environment. As IgA has the unique characteristic of a flexible response to broad types of microorganisms, it sometimes causes an autoreactive response in the host human body. IgA vasculitis and related organ dysfunction are representative IgA-mediated autoimmune diseases; bacterial and viral infections often trigger IgA vasculitis. Recent drug developments and the presence of COVID-19 have revealed that these agents can also trigger IgA vasculitis. These findings provide a novel understanding of the pathogenesis of IgA vasculitis. In this review, we focus on the characteristics of IgA and symptoms of IgA vasculitis and other organ dysfunction. We also mention the therapeutic approach, biomarkers, novel triggers for IgA vasculitis, and epigenetic modifications in patients with IgA vasculitis.  相似文献

In this paper, H control for a class of linear time invariant systems with infinitely many unstable poles is studied. An example of such a plant is a high gain system with delayed feedback. We formulate the problem via a generalized plant which consists of a rational transfer matrix and the inverse of a scalar (possibly irrational) inner function. It is shown that the problem can be decomposed into a finite-dimensional H control problem and an additional rank condition.  相似文献
