To prepare silica nanoparticle having flame-retardant activity, immobilization of flame-retardant onto the surface was investigated. The immobilization of phosphorous flame-retardant was achieved by two-step reactions: (1) introduction of cyclotriphosphazene (PH) groups onto silica nanoparticle by the reaction of terminal amino groups of the surface with hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene and (2) immobilization of bis(4-aminophenoxy)phenyl phosphine oxide (BAPPO) onto silica having PH groups by the reaction of PH groups on the surface with BAPPO. The immobilization of BAPPO was confirmed by FT-IR and thermal decomposition GC–MS. The composite of epoxy resin filled with BAPPO-immobilized silica (Silica–PH–BAPPO) was successfully prepared by heating in the presence of curing agents. Thermal decomposition temperature and glass transition temperature of the epoxy resin filled with Silica–PH–BAPPO was higher than that of epoxy resin filled with untreated silica, free HCTP and BAPPO. Moreover, flame-retardant property of epoxy resin filled with Silica–PH–BAPPO was estimated by limiting oxygen index (LOI). The LOI value of epoxy resin filled with Silica–PH–BAPPO was higher than that of epoxy resin filled with untreated silica, free HCTP and BAPPO. This may be due the fact that char yield of the epoxy resin filled with Silica–PH–BAPPO was higher than that filled with free flame-retardant. 相似文献

In oxides, the substitution of non-oxide anions (F(-),S(2-),N(3-) and so on) for oxide introduces many properties, but the least commonly encountered substitution is where the hydride anion (H(-)) replaces oxygen to form an oxyhydride. Only a handful of oxyhydrides have been reported, mainly with electropositive main group elements or as layered cobalt oxides with unusually low oxidation states. Here, we present an oxyhydride of the perhaps most well-known perovskite, BaTiO(3), as an O(2-)/H(-) solid solution with hydride concentrations up to 20% of the anion sites. BaTiO(3-x)H(x) is electronically conducting, and stable in air and water at ambient conditions. Furthermore, the hydride species is exchangeable with hydrogen gas at 400 °C. Such an exchange implies diffusion of hydride, and interesting diffusion mechanisms specific to hydrogen may be at play. Moreover, such a labile anion in an oxide framework should be useful in further expanding the mixed-anion chemistry of the solid state. 相似文献

The second virial coefficients A2 of ring polystyrenes with high purity in cyclohexane were measured by light scattering in the temperature range 27.0-34.5 °C. The purity of four samples with Mw of 16k, 42k, 110k and 570k was determined to be all over 96% by HPLC. It has been found that A2s of all the samples are definitely positive at the theta temperature of linear polystyrene, 34.5 °C, and the measured values for four samples converged to zero at 27.7 °C with decreasing temperature. This value is below the previously reported one, but it is quite consistent with the predicted value based on the topological repulsive interaction among the ring polymer molecules. 相似文献

Recently, power systems have become larger and more complex. Particularly, the looping of power systems is becoming highly desirable to improve the stability. The main features of such looped power systems are: (i) comparatively fewer losses; and (ii) improved angle stability as well as voltage stability. However, these systems have demerits, such as, in case of route off fault in a loop power system, power disturbances increase more and more, etc. If these demerits are overcome, the loop power systems are going to be more beneficial. More than 100 fungi were isolated from cultures at pH 1.0 or 2.5 and 42-45 degrees C, and the production of catalases was investigated. Four strains produced a catalase with high stability at pH 2.0, and three of them produced two extracellular catalases and four intracellular catalases. In these four intracellular catalases, two catalases were similar to extracellular catalases in enzymatic properties and pI. These strains belonged to Aspergillus niger. 相似文献

BiFeO? (BFO) single crystals were grown and the effects of Zn and Mn co-doping on the polarization and leakage current properties were investigated at 25 °C for establishing materials design based on defect chemistry. Although Zn doping or Mn doping led to a deterioration in the properties, Zn-Mn co-doping led to a large remanent polarization (36 μC/ cm2), a low coercive field (19 kV/cm), and a relatively low leakage current density (~10?? We separated the component spatial patterns of frequency-dependent absorption in chemicals and frequency-independent components such as plastic, paper, and measurement noise in terahertz (THz) spectroscopic images, using known spectral curves. Our measurement system, which uses a widely tunable coherent THz-wave parametric oscillator source, can image at a specific frequency in the range 1-2 THz. The component patterns of chemicals can easily be extracted by use of the frequency-independent components. This method could be successfully used for nondestructive inspection for the detection of illegal drugs and devices of bioterrorism concealed, e.g., inside mail and packages. 相似文献

Thiazolidinediones (TZDs) are known to have potent increases of insulin sensitivity. Because peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma (PPAR-gamma), a receptor for TZDs, is mainly expressed in adipocytes, we tried to search the TZD-targeted genes in mouse 3T3-L1 adipocytes. By the mRNA differential display method, one band repressed by troglitazone was obtained, which corresponded to the partial sequences of the stearoyl-CoA desaturase 1 (SCD1) gene. Troglitazone dramatically decreased SCD1 mRNA levels in 3T3-L1 adipocytes in a dose-dependent manner. Pioglitazone also repressed the SCD1 mRNA expression, whereas WY-14,643 had no apparent effect. Both troglitazone and pioglitazone raised the composition (weight percentage) of myristic acid (C14:0), palmitic acid (C16:0), and stearic acid (C18:0), but lowered the composition of the delta9-cis desaturated fatty acids such as myristoleic acid (C14:1, delta9), palmitoleic acid (C16:1, delta9), oleic acid (C18:1, delta9), and linoleic acid (C18:2, delta9,12). These results indicate that TZDs repress SCD1 activity in 3T3-L1 adipocytes via downregulating SCD1 enzyme gene expression. 相似文献

In this paper, we investigate isomorphic factorizations of the Kronecker product graphs. Using these relations, it is shown that (1) the Kronecker product of the d-out-regular digraph and the complete symmetric digraph is factorized into the line digraph, (2) the Kronecker product of the Kautz digraph and the de Bruijn digraph is factorized into the Kautz digraph, (3) the Kronecker product of binary generalized de Bruijn digraphs is factorized into the binary generalized de Bruijn digraph. 相似文献
