Gas phase propylene epoxidation on gold catalysts has attracted wide attention from industry and academia due to its high selectivity. However, it suffers from low propylene conversion and rapid catalyst deactivation. Experiments showed that propylene conversion could be increased by raising H2, O2, or C3H6 concentration in the feed, but the feed compositions were within the explosion limit. It was also shown that the activity of the used catalyst could be fully recovered, but the regeneration temperature was 280 °C, much higher than that for reaction. Therefore a microchannel reactor was devised to suppress explosion and was constructed with Fecralloy, to raise the temperature rapidly for catalyst regeneration by electric heating. In two minutes the temperature of the reactor could be raised from 50 to 300 °C. Catalysts were coated on the alloy belt by dip coating, and the performance of the reactor was evaluated under different operating conditions. Results showed that in the microreactor the overall reaction rate was controlled mainly by the intrinsic reaction rate, and also influenced by film diffusion to a certain extent. Highly purified polycrystalline wafers of Zr and Hf were chosen as substrates for diamond deposition by means of the d.c. arc discharge plasma CVD method. Polycrystalline diamond films were formed on both substrates. Scanning electron microscopy and high resolution X-ray diffraction were used to investigate the surface morphology of the diamond films and the composition of the interface layers between the diamond films and substrates. The experiments showed that the transition layer between the diamond films and Zr substrates was ZrC, ZrH and ZrC0.32H1.2. For Hf substrates, in addition to HfC, it is supposed that there were also some hydrides or carbohydrides in the transition layer, because several X-ray reflections appeared which could not be assigned to Hf, HfC or diamond. 相似文献

The surface chemistry of methoxide (CH3O-) on the Ni(111) surface has been studied in the presence of hydrogen pressures up to 2 Torr. During heating in vacuum methoxide decomposes to H2 and CO, which desorb at 380 and 445 K, respectively. The CH3O-decomposition process is rate limited by CH bond breaking and exhibits a strong deuterium kinetic isotope effect in CD3O-. In the presence of ambient hydrogen pressures of 0.02–2.0 Torr both CH3O- and CD3O-are hydrogenated directly to methanol at 310 K. and deposition precipitation (DP) methods. The materials were characterized by XRD, N2-adsorption and temperature programmed reduction (TPR) to evaluate the structure, texture, and redox properties. The preparation
procedure had significant impact on the assembling mode of CeO2 inside the SBA-15 mesopores.
