Orthogonal liquid chromatographic (ion exchange, reversed phase, and ion pairing) and mass spectrometric [electrospray ionization (ESI)-TOF-MS, ESI-Orbitrap MS, and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS)] methods were addressed to identify and quantify selenium species from a naturally Se-enriched green bean (Phaseolus vulgaris vulgaris) sample after proteolytic digestion. While selenomethionine (10.1 mg/kg as Se) and selenate (9.5 mg/kg as Se) could be quantified in a straightforward way by anion exchange LC-ICP-MS technique, a multistep purification protocol was required to identify Se-methylselenocysteine and γ-glutamyl-Se-methylselenocysteine in an unambiguous way prior to quantification by using either in-source fragmentation (LC-ESI-TOF-MS) or collision-induced dissociation (LC-ESI-Orbitrap MS). Finally, Se-methylselenocysteine (2.6 mg/kg as Se) and γ-glutamyl-Se-methylselenocysteine (1.2 mg/kg as Se) could contribute to the overall selenium recovery of 72 %. This sample is the first of the Faboideae subfamily and Phaseolus ssp. to be speciated to such an extent for selenium including γ-glutamyl-Se-methylselenocysteine, a highly potential selenium species, which makes this bean material an ideal candidate for functional food purposes. 相似文献

Supply chain networks need to respond efficiently to operation disruptions, as one of their aims is to guarantee the on time delivery of products. Hence, robustness has become one of the important issues to consider when designing supply networks. There are alternative ways to measure what robustness means in this context. In this paper, we propose a new metric based on the effect on service level of the collapse of active transportation links. Numerical experiments are carried out to understand how different design factors affect robustness. Robustness under a targeted attack is compared with robustness to random failures. Results show that flow complexity (i.e. the number of potential transportation links between supply network nodes) is the most influential factor affecting supply network and its robustness, as well as the service level that can be maintained after disruptions. Thus, diversification both in supply sources and transportation routes seems to be key to robustness. 相似文献

In this paper, the waste collection problem (WCP) of a city in the south of Spain is addressed as a multiobjective routing problem that considers three objectives. From the company's perspective, the minimization of the travel cost is desired as well as that of the total number of vehicles. Additionally, from the employee's point of view, a set of balanced routes is also sought. Four variants of a multiobjective hybrid algorithm are proposed. Specifically, a GRASP (greedy randomized adaptive search procedure) with a VND (variable neighborhood descent) is combined. The use of graphene as a component for developing electroconductive ceramic composites is being profusely studied. It is a very promising additive as it has excellent mechanical properties, high electrical and thermal conductivities, it is lightweight and its aspect ratio allows reaching percolation with low contents.In the particular case of zirconia, preparation of black coloured materials remains a challenge while many high added value applications are waiting for a solution. Graphene appears as a candidate for fulfilling all these requirements. In this work, 3Y–TZP/rGO composites were prepared by Spark Plasma Sintering Zirconia-rGO mixtures. Simultaneous sintering and in-situ reduction of graphene oxide opens a very interesting technological route for preparing this type of materials. The influence of graphene content on the electrical, mechanical and optical properties was studied. An rGO content as low as 0,29 vol% allows nanostructured black zirconia to be obtained but it has to be increased up to 1 vol% in order to reach electrical resistivity values <100Ωcm, required for electrodischarge machining. 相似文献

Amorphous and polycrystalline Sn‐doped IrO2 thin films, Ir1‐xSnxO2, are grown for the first time. Their electrical response and strength of the spin–orbit coupling are studied in order to better understand and tailor its performance as spin current detector material. These experiments prove that the resistivity of IrO2 can be tuned over several orders of magnitude by controlling the doping content in both the amorphous and the polycrystalline state. In addition, growing amorphous samples increase the resistivity, thus improving the spin current to charge current conversion. As far as the spin–orbit coupling is concerned, the system not only remains in a strong spin–orbit coupling regime but it seems to undergo a slight enhancement in the amorphous state as well as in the Sn‐doped samples. 相似文献

Changes in the -hydroxyacyl-CoA-dehydrogenase (HADH) activity of squid (Loligo vulgaris), mackerel (Scomber scombrus), tuna (Thunnus alalunga), sea bream (Pagellus centrodontus), sole (Solea solea), hake and small hake (Merluccius merluccius) meat due to freezing treatment at –10° C, –18° C, –35° C, –80° C or –196° C were investigated. With the exception of the small hake, the HADH activity of aqueous extracts from meat was significantly higher (p<0.0001) in all frozen/thawed fish species studied than in unfrozen animals because during freezing there was a release of HADH. HADH activity values of frozen/thawed squid, unfrozen mackerel, frozen/thawed and unfrozen sea bream and unfrozen hake were affected by the storage time in crushed ice.
Effekt des Gefrierens auf die-Hydroxyacyl-CoA-dehydrogenase (HADH)-Aktivität von Fischfleisch
Zusammenfassung Änderungen in der Aktivität der -Hydroxyacyl-CoA-dehydrogenase (HADH) im Fleisch von Tintenfisch, Makrele, Thunfisch, Seebrassen, Seezunge und Seehecht als Folge des Gefrierens bei –10 °C, –18 °C, –35 °C, –80 °C und –196 °C wurden untersucht. Mit Ausnahme kleiner Seehechte war die HADH-Aktivität wäßriger Extrakte des Fleisches bei allen gefrorenen und dann aufgetauten Fischen signifikant höher (p<0,0001) als bei ungefroren gelagerten Tieren. Dies ist Folge des Austrittes von HADH aus den Zellen während des Gefrierens. Die HADH-Aktivitäten von gefrorenem/aufgetautem Tintenfisch und Seebrassen sowie ungefrorenen Makrelen, Seebrassen und Seehechten wurden auch durch Lagern auf gestoßenem Eis beeinflußt.相似文献

Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus was dried under vacuum at different temperatures and its preservation evaluated analyzing the evolution of three parameters throughout the process: lag time, percentage of membrane damage and zeta potential. Microorganisms were dehydrated at 30, 45 and 70 degrees C in a vacuum centrifuge for different times. The aw achieved for each time of drying was correlated with the cell recovery at all the temperatures assayed. The recovery of microorganisms was evaluated by means of: a) kinetics of growth in milk after drying, as a measure of the global damage; b) quantification of the membrane damage using the fluorescent dyes SYTO 9 and PI; c) determination of changes in the superficial charges (zeta potential) as measured of the increase in the hydrophobic residues exposed in the bacterial surface after dehydration. These changes correlate well with the bacterial damage occurred during the dehydration process. The Page's equation allowed fitting of aw and time of drying, thus making possible the determination of the appropriate dehydration conditions (time-temperature ratios) for which no cell damage occurs. The evaluation of three parameters (lag time, percentage of membrane damage and zeta potential) allowed us to conclude that at the lowest temperature of dehydration, the first target of damage is the cell membrane. However, this damage is not decisive for the bacterial recovery after rehydration, as are the increase in the lag time and the changes in the zeta potential, as was observed for L. bulgaricus dehydrated at 45 and 70 degrees C for larger times. 相似文献
