Structural and optical characterization of water soluble, thermo-responsive quantum dot/poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide) (QD/PNIPAM) hybrid particles using fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) and time-correlated single photon counting (TCSPC) measurements performed at temperatures below and above the lower critical solution temperature (LCST) of PNIPAM is reported. By increasing the temperature above the LCST, the signature of the PNIPAM chain collapse covering the QDs is revealed by FCS measurements. Despite the significant structural change, the TCSPC measurements show that the fluorescence lifetimes remain of the same order of magnitude at T > LCST. Such QD/PNIPAM hybrid particles with water solubility and robust thermo-responsive behavior at physiologically relevant temperatures are potentially useful for (bio)molecular sensing and separation applications.  相似文献

In the present study, the effects of continuous and pulsed ultrasound (100 W, 30 kHz, 25–75% amplitudes for 30 min) and fermentation process (37°C for 24 h) by Lactobacillus helveticus PTCC 1332 on biological activities of Chortan were investigated. The obtained results showed that fermentation enhanced protease content (36.27% (neutral), 37.57% (acid), 39.28% (alkaline) protease), peptide concentration (45.27%) and antioxidant activity (33.69% (DPPH), 132.85% (ABTS)) of samples compared to unfermented ones. Additionally, an increase in ultrasound amplitude (except for continuous at 75%) promoted the protease enzymes, peptides and radical scavenging activity of the fermented and unfermented samples. Our results indicated that the ultrasound and fermentation treatments complemented each other. Depending on the experimental conditions, the effect of continuous ultrasound on samples was sometimes lower, sometimes similar and sometimes higher than that of pulsed treatment. Therefore, selection of an appropriate ultrasound mode and amplitude can improve the biological activity of Chortan.  相似文献

In the present research, the effects of continuous ultrasound treatment (100 W, 30 kHz; 0%, 30%, 60% and 90% amplitudes, 15 min) and fermentation process (37°C, 24 h) on the growth of Lactobacillus plantarum LP3 and LU5 strains and bioactive properties (peptide content, α-amylase and α-glucosidase inhibition, anticancer and antioxidant activities and exopolysaccharide content) of goat milk were investigated. According to our results, the ultrasonication of milk up to 60% amplitude promoted the growth of Lactobacillus strains and enhanced the bioactive properties compared with control during fermentation, while, the ultrasonication at 90% amplitude had negative effects on the mentioned parameters. Exopolysaccharide content, α-amylase inhibition, α-glucosidase inhibition, antioxidant activity and anticancer activity of treated samples at 60% amplitude at the end of fermentation in comparison to its beginning were increased 18.09, 12.79, 12.44, 9.4 and 1.92 folds, respectively. Also, the increase of assayed characteristics was found strain-dependent, so that L. plantarum LP3 was more effective than LU5 strain.  相似文献

The rate of percutaneous absorption of micro-particles is very important due to its effects on human health. In this study, a new approach is proposed to investigate both the lateral and the longitudinal diffusions during the absorption of a micro-particle. The results of the current 2D model are compared with the results of a previous 1D model. According to the results, the influence of lateral diffusion on the rate of percutaneous absorption is important, especially for the lipohilic materials. On the other words, the difference between the results of the two models is more significant, at lower values of the ratio of viable-epidermis-diffusivity to the stratum-corneum-diffusivity (DVE/DSC), or at lower values of the viable epidermis to the stratum corneum partition-coefficient (kVE/kSC). For instance, when DVE/DSC equals to 1 and kVE/kSC is 0.33, for a particle with a radius of 10?µm, the steady-state-molar-flux estimated by the 2D model is 2.37 times greater than that estimated by the 1D model. Hence, the lateral diffusion should be taken into account in the percutaneous absorption of micro-particles.  相似文献

There are many studies conducted on recommendation systems, most of which are focused on recommending items to users and vice versa. Nowadays, social networks are complicated due to carrying vast arrays of data about individuals and organizations. In today’s competitive environment, companies face two significant problems: supplying resources and attracting new customers. Even the concept of supply-chain management in a virtual environment is changed. In this article, we propose a new and innovative combination approach to recommend organizational people in social networks based on organizational communication and SCM. The proposed approach uses a hybrid strategy that combines basic collaborative filtering and demographic recommendation systems, using data mining, artificial neural networks, and fuzzy techniques. The results of experiments and evaluations based on a real dataset collected from the LinkedIn social network showed that the hybrid recommendation system has higher accuracy and speed than other essential methods, even substantially has eliminated the fundamental problems with such systems, such as cold start, scalability, diversity, and serendipity.

This article presents a new approach to investigate the kinetics of sunflower and rapeseed oils methanolysis. Due to its heterogeneous nature, the methanolysis reaction is affected by different physical properties such as mass transfer coefficients and specific surface area of the dispersed phase. Considering these parameters, a model was developed, and was evaluated by comparing the results of the model with the experimental data found in the literature. The mean absolute deviation obtained for sunflower and rapeseed oils is 0.039 mol L?1, which demonstrates the accuracy of the model. The results show that the mixing speed is more effective in the first few minutes of the process. Furthermore, at mixing speed above 700 rpm, the process is controlled only by the reactions. The rate of biodiesel production increases with increasing catalyst concentration; however, catalyst concentration above 1.5 wt% has little or no significant effect on the rate of biodiesel production. In addition, because of its higher activation energy the rapeseed oil transesterification is more temperature dependent than the sunflower transesterification.  相似文献

The hot deformation behavior of Ti-55Ni (at. pct) alloy was studied using compression testing at 1173 K (900 °C) to 1323 K (1050 °C) and at the strain rates of 0.001 to 0.35 s−1. The microstructure evolution was characterized using optical and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The influences of hot-working parameters on the flow stress and microstructural features of this alloy were then analyzed. The results indicate that, depending on the temperature and strain rate, the dynamic recrystallization (DRX) is the dominate mechanism. Besides, the particle-stimulated nucleation (PSN) mechanism could partially recrystallize the structure. The PSN phenomenon is of significant importance for the Ti-55Ni (at. pct) that suffers from insufficient workability because of its high content of intermetallic phases. It is of interest that the discontinuous yielding phenomenon has been observed when the specimens were deformed at 1173 K (900 °C). Finally, the optimum parameters for hot working of Ti-55Ni (at. pct) alloy are determined as well.  相似文献

I have used the critical state model for investigating the magnetic moment of a flat type-II superconducting strip which carries a current such that the magnetic flux density B generated by this current depends solely on the coordinate along the width of the tape. To do so, I have also calculated the magnetic flux distribution in the film. The calculations clearly show that the magnetic moment of the material exposed to this current is increased as the thickness of the sample is decreased; a behavior similar to the thickness dependence of the critical current density.  相似文献

In this paper, the wrinkle resistance of plain fabrics woven with weft yarn in S‐ and Z‐twist directions and at various twist levels in different test directions has been measured and then analysed. Results show that the wrinkle resistance increases as the weft yarn twist increases. The wrinkle properties of the fabric show that the direction of test has an obvious effect on the results and the wrinkle resistance depends on the method of folding such as face‐to‐face and back‐to‐back methods. The experimental results showed that there is anisotropy in wrinkle properties of the fabric made of yarns with different twist directions. When the fabric is folded face‐to‐face and the weft twist direction is S, the wrinkle resistance of fabric in various test directions shows a convex curvature, whereas when the same fabric is folded in a back‐to‐back manner then results show a linear curvature. This means that the wrinkle resistance of a fabric differs in various directions and in the method of folding (back‐to‐back or face‐to‐face) and shows an anisotropic wrinkle resistance nature.  相似文献
