For the selection of compounds affecting the hemorrheologic status a method for reproducing disorders of blood rheologic properties in vitro was developed. It consists in 60-min incubation of blood at 42 degrees C. The hemorrheologic effect of quercetin under such conditions was studied and a dependence of the effect of quercetin on blood viscosity and red cell aggregation on the drug concentration was revealed. 相似文献

Metabolic control and metabolic capacity: two aspects of creatine kinase functioning in the cells 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this short review, the merits and limits of three theoretical concepts explaining the functional role of the creatine kinase system in muscle and brain cells are analysed. In addition to the usual concept of an energy buffer system and the recently proposed metabolic capacity theory (Sweeney, H.L. (1994) Med. Sci. Sports Exerc. 26, 30-36), it is proposed that coupled creatine kinase systems are involved in effective metabolic regulation of energy fluxes and oxidative phosphorylation, beside their energy transfer function. This aspect of the system is considered on the basis of metabolic control analysis. It is shown by using the results of mathematical modelling that, due to amplification of ADP fluxes from the cytoplasm by the mechanism of metabolic channelling, coupled mitochondrial creatine kinase may exert a flux control coefficient significantly exceeding 1. 相似文献

An apparatus for investigating the thermoelectric characteristics of semiconductors and chemically corrosive semiconductor melts inclined to evaporation and decomposition in a wide temperature range of 300–1300 K is developed and constructed. In contrast to the devices used earlier for this purpose, the electric conductivity and thermal emf are measured in hermetically sealed autoclaves, which, after being evacuated to a pressure of 1.33 × 10–2 Pa, are filled with spectrally pure argon for preventing the oxidation, evaporation, or decomposition of the substance under study. The errors of the electric-conductivity and thermal-emf measurements at 1000 K do not exceed 4 and 6%, respectively. 相似文献

Polyarylate has been used as a model polymer to study its tribological property alteration during impregnation of copper(II)
hexafluoroacetylacetonate in a supercritical carbon dioxide environment followed by thermal decomposition of the copper compound
in air. The initial, impregnated and thermally treated polymer samples were tested by various tribological techniques to compare
their wear resistance, friction coefficient fk and surface microhardness H. SEM, EDX and ESCA have been applied to determine surface and internal domain morphology, profiles
of copper complex concentration, its types and influence on the tribological properties of the samples. Dramatic surface layer
modification and significant enhancement of its wear resistance (more than 400%) due to this process have been observed and
discussed.
