An experimental investigation of the structure and physical properties of the intermetallic β' (В2) phase in the Co–Al–Si system has been performed. It has been shown that alloying with silicon reduces the degree of long-range order and the lattice parameter of the B2 phase. It has been revealed that small additives of silicon (up to 3 at %) favor the formation of pores and cracks and lead to a strong embrittlement of the alloy. In the structure of the Co–39.5 at % Al–3 at % Si alloy after high-temperature homogenization at 1260°С for 30 h and slow cooling, prismatic dislocation loops of a specific cubic shape formed by edge dislocations with a Burgers vector а<100>(100) have been revealed. It has been shown experimentally that the changes in the magnetic properties of the weakly magnetic CoAl-based alloys can serve as an indicator of the degree of the defect nature of the crystal lattice of this intermetallic compound. 相似文献

We study the influence of temperature and the size of the specimens on the characteristics of static crack resistance of 12Cr–2Ni–Mo
refractory steel. It is shown that, in the temperature range 20–450°C, the increase in the thickness of specimens leads to
an insignificant increase in fracture toughness obtained along a 5% secant line according to the standards of evaluation of
the characteristics of crack resistance. The evaluation of the characteristics of crack resistance of 12Cr–2Ni–Mo steel with
regard for the scale effect according to an earlier developed numerical-experimental model reveals the existence of satisfactory
agreement with the experimental data in the entire investigated temperature range.

In search for environmentally friendly lubricant additives, titanium 2-ethylhexanoate and titanium oleate, which titanium compounds soluble in white oil, have been synthesized, as well as titanium dioxide nanoparticles modified with tetra-(2-ethylhexyl)thiuram disulfide and di(2-ethylhexyl)thiophosphonodisulfide. These titanium compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, thermogravimetry, and IR spectroscopy. By means of the small-angle X-ray scattering technique, it has been found that the TiO2 nanoparticles have a size of 1?C10 nm. Evaluation of antiwear properties of titanium compounds on a ChS-hMT-1 tribometer in a white oil solution shows that the decrease in wear scar diameter is 38?C49% compared with the white oil. Analysis of the friction surfaces by atomic-force microscopy and X-ray microanalysis has shown a decrease in roughness of the friction surface caused by the presence of titanium atoms in the surface layers. 相似文献

Conclusions Deformation of EP-741P heat-resisting alloy at a temperature of 750C occurs mainly through a shear mechanism, involving the formation of a succession of slip bands and also intergranular slip. Its fracture has a dual character, the crack passing both through powder particles and along their boundaries. Raising the oxygen content of a material produced from an atomized powder above 0.01% increases the proportion of deformation along original powder particle boundaries. The particles themselves experience no bulk plastic deformation.
