In this work, an extracellular ferulic acid esterase was produced in bioreactor cultivations of Lactobacillus acidophilus K1 strain. The enzyme was partially purified using ultrafiltration (10 kDa), dialysis (4–6 kDa) and Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography (Sepharose CM, Sephacryl S‐300). A considerable increment of enzyme activity (31‐fold) in the final preparation was achieved. Two distinct bands (approx. 21.5 kDa and 39 kDa) were obtained after SDS‐PAGE. A high similarity of the purified enzyme (LC‐MS/MS analysis) to tannase and ferulic acid esterase from Burkholderia ambifaria MEX‐5 was obtained. The optimal pH and temperature for the enzyme activity were 6.3 and 37°C, respectively. The enzyme preparation effectively released phenolic acids (mainly ferulic and p‐coumaric acid) from brewer's spent grain. This novel enzyme preparation can be used for the utilisation of a valuable and inexpensive by‐product of the brewing industry.  相似文献

Handover performance in wireless networks is important, especially nowadays, when multimedia services are becoming increasingly available over the wireless devices. However, users expect uncompromised mobility when using the service. Thus, the support of multimedia services is not possible if handover is inefficient. At the same time it is clear that a strict separation between IP Layer and the Link Layer results in built-in sources of delay. The paper discusses the IEEE 802.11 and Mobile IPv4 handover performance in practical scenarios. We introduce a new simultaneous handover scheme with IEEE 802.21 triggers. In order to verify the handover performance, simulation experiments have been conducted, whose results are also presented and discussed.  相似文献

One lesson learned from the Chernobyl accident was that the spatial distribution of far-field contamination was strongly non-uniform due to local variation of atmospheric conditions, such as wind direction, rain etc. An environmental monitoring system using highly sensitive thermoluminescent LiF:Mg,Cu,P (MCP-N) detectors has been completed and field-tested. The system consists of 3000 MCP-N detectors in 1000 TLD cards (three TLDs per card), two Mikrolab automatic TL readers, heating ovens, and specially developed software which includes a database for rapid evaluation of results. The main dosimetric parameters of MCP-N dosemeters, such as thermally-induced fading, light sensitivity, minimum detectable dose, self-dose, zero-dose, energy response up to 6-7 MeV, influence of annealing and readout conditions on detector stability, have been tested. About 100 locations over an area of about 15,000 km2 in the south of Poland were selected for measurements lasting from 4 days to 3 months. The kerma rates measured over a 4 day screening period agree well with kerma rates determined over a 75 day monitoring period. Results from short- and long-term exposure periods agree well with those performed using MTS-N (LiF:Mg,Ti) over southern Poland in 1985, before the Chernobyl accident. Thus, using the system based on MCP-N detectors, one is able simultaneously to monitor environmental radiation kerma rates at a large number of locations over periods of four days or less. Provided natural background kerma rates at selected monitoring points are available prior to the accident, the system can be applied to assess kerma rates rapidly in the environment, following a nuclear accident.  相似文献

Summary Synthesis of p-bromomethylstyrene (3) and p-iodome-thylstyrene (4) is reported. 3 was obtained by the bromomethylation of 2-phenylethyl bromide followed by dehydrobromination of the resultant p-(2-bromoethyl) benzyl bromide (2) with t-BuOK, as well as by cleaving p-vinyl-benzyl methanosulfonate with LiBr in the presence of 18--crown-6. 4 was obtained from p-chloromethylstyrene (1) via the Finkelstein reaction. 3 was polymerized successfully in the presence of free-radical initiators, but 4 was found to be too unstable to give a well-defined polymer.  相似文献

The use of a typical measuring cryostat with a standard temperature controller was proposed for investigation of the temperature dependence of the thermal diffusivity of transparent samples. The basic idea is to use the cryostat heater to control the mean sample temperature and to generate the thermal wave in it, simultaneously. Because of the relatively high thermal inertia of the system, the measurements are carried out at frequencies not exceeding 50 mHz. The periodic temperature disturbance in the sample was detected optically by the use of the mirage effect. The proposed method was used for determination of the thermal diffusivity of yttrium aluminum garnet single crystals in a temperature range from 20 °C to 200 °C.  相似文献

Summary The paper deals with the heat conduction modelling problem for micro-periodic composites. The models proposed there take into account certain micromorphic effects resulting from the fine periodic structure of the body. The governing equations describing heatfluxes and temperature distributions in these composites in the nonlinear as well as linear cases have been derived. The chiral Mn(III) salen complex (C1) was immobilised onto a natural clay (BEN) and a porous clay heterostructure (PCH) functionalised with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES). FTIR, XPS and Mn chemical analysis confirm the C1 anchorage in both materials, but with higher efficiency in BEN_APTES clay. The catalytic activity of C1@BEN_APTES and C1@PCH_APTES, was assessed in the epoxidation of styrene (sty) and ∝-methylstyrene (∝-Mesty) using NaOCl and m-chloroperoxybenzoic acid (m-CPBA)/N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide (NMO). Both materials behave as moderate catalysts, show high epoxide selectivity but low enantiomeric excesses. In the case of sty epoxidation with m-CBPA/NMO the C1@PCH_APTES catalyst showed the highest catalytic activity, whereas in ∝-Mesty epoxidation, the C1@PCH_APTES catalyst, although leading to lower substrate conversion than the BEN analogue, presented the lowest complex leaching. In all cases, the oxidant NaOCl had some destructive effect in the hybrid catalysts, highlighting the importance of a careful choice of catalyst and oxidant system.  相似文献

A problem of a modelling of vibrations of thin plates with a functionally graded macrostructure and a tolerance-periodic microstructure in planes parallel to the plate midplane is analysed. The proposed model, based on the Kirchhoff plate theory assumptions and additional hypothesis of the tolerance averaging technique [Wo?niak et al., editors. Thermomechanics of heterogeneous solids and structures. Tolerance averaging approach. ?ód?, University Press, Technical University of ?ód?; 2008], describes the effect of the microstructure size on dynamic behaviour of the plate. In this paper, as an example there are analysed free vibration frequencies of a functionally graded plate band. These frequencies are obtained in the framework of two proposed models—the tolerance model and the asymptotic model, using the known Ritz method.  相似文献
