Principal components analysis is an important and well-studied subject in statistics and signal processing. Several algorithms for solving this problem exist, and could be mostly grouped into one of the following three approaches: adaptation based on Hebbian updates and deflation, optimization of a second order statistical criterion (like reconstruction error or output variance), and fixed point update rules with deflation. In this study, we propose an alternate approach that avoids deflation and gradient-search techniques. The proposed method is an on-line procedure based on recursively updating the eigenvector and eigenvalue matrices with every new sample such that the estimates approximately track their true values as would be calculated analytically from the current sample estimate of the data covariance matrix. The perturbation technique is theoretically shown to be applicable for recursive canonical correlation analysis, as well. The performance of this algorithm is compared with that of a structurally similar matrix perturbation-based method and also with a few other traditional methods like Sanger’s rule and APEX.

位同步技术是GNSS接收机技术的重要组成部分,位同步错误会导致接收机伪距解算错误及无法正确解调电文。针对弹载GNSS接收机的高可靠性要求,提出了一种高可靠GNSS接收机位同步算法,对最大似然位同步算法进行了改进。在非相干积分过程中等间隔提取中间结果进行观测,综合多次观测结果和最终非相干积分结果进行位同步判断。数值仿真与分析表明,在弱信号情况下,在不增加估计时间的前提下,可以大幅度减小错误同步概率,对于提高弹载GNSS接收机可靠性有着重要意义。  相似文献

A Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of wireless mobile terminals that are able to dynamically form a temporary network without any aid from fixed infrastructure or centralized administration. One critical issue for routing in MANETs is how to select reliable paths that can last as long as possible since terminal mobility may cause radio links to be broken frequently. To solve this problem, a criterion that can judge path reliability is needed. The reliability of a path depends on the number of links and the reliability of each link constituting the path. Many routing metrics in terms of number of links have been proposed, such as the shortest path routing. However, how to measure link availability or reliability in order to find more reliable paths has not been addressed adequately in the literature. (By a link being available, we mean that the radio quality of the link satisfies the minimum requirement for successful communication. Link availability is used to measure probability or degree that a link is available. The terms availability and reliability are used interchangeable in this paper.) This paper first introduces a prediction-based link availability estimation to quantify the link reliability. This quantity makes use of some instantly available information and also considers the dynamic nature of link status in order to properly reflect the link reliability. Then, this quantity has been further used to develop routing metrics for path selection in terms of path reliability to improve routing performances. The proposed schemes have been investigated through computer simulation.  相似文献

 The influence of water on the rheological characteristics of biscuit dough and quality of biscuits was studied. A variation of even 1% in water content considerably changed the various rheological characteristics of biscuit dough. Increasing water content by 3% significantly increased the compliance from 32.6% to 45.6%, and decreased the extrusion time from 100 s to 34 s, the apparent biaxial extensional viscosity from 3.06×105 Pas to 1.5×105 Pas, and the consistency from 943 Ns to 620 Ns for dough based on weak wheat flour. The elastic recovery of biscuit dough increased significantly from 0.425 mm to 0.535 mm. Dough became more cohesive and adhesive with increasing water content, whilst biscuits became harder, as indicated by increases in density, breaking strength and compression strength. To increase our knowledge of factors leading to Acanthamoeba keratitis in contact lens wearers, we determined the ability of this organism to adhere to corneal epithelial cells (EC) recovered from non-lens wearers (NL) and from subjects using hydrogel contact lenses on a daily (DW) and extended wear (EW) schedule. ECs were incubated with trophozoites of Acanthamoeba and, after 3 h, the median per cent of cells exhibiting adherence was 24, 23 and 23 for NL, DW and EW groups respectively (P=0.552, Kruskal-Wallis Test). There were no differences between the groups for the number of adherent amoebae and a significant majority had only one adherent trophozoite per EC. No difference in adherence was seen with increasing exposure time. Factors other than amoebic adherence to superficial corneal EC are responsible for the increased incidence of Acanthamoeba keratitis in lens wearers.  相似文献

We present a procedure for the MOVPE of InP as simple as the one currently used for GaAs. InP and InGaAsP alloys are grown on InP substrates using trimethy1indium (TMI), phosphine, trimethylgallium (TMG) and arsine. The choice of carrier gas is important ; a mixture of hydrogen and nitrogen allowed us to grow uniform layers over large areas at atmospheric pressure, without pyrolizing the phosphine or separating the input reactants. In the current practice of ultrasound elastography, only the axial component of the displacement vector is estimated and used to produce strain images. A method was recently proposed by our group to estimate both the axial and lateral components of a displacement vector using RF echo signal data acquired along multiple angular insonification directions of the ultrasound beam. Previous work has demonstrated that it is important to choose appropriate values for the maximum beam angle and angular increment to achieve optimal performance with this technique. In this paper, we present error propagation analysis using the least-square fitting process for the optimization of the angular increment and the maximum beam steered angle. Ultrasound simulations are performed to corroborate the theoretical prediction of the optimal values for the maximum beam angle and angular increment. Selection of the optimal parameters depends on system parameters, such as center frequency and aperture size. For typical system parameters, the optimal maximum beam angle is around 10deg for axial strain estimation and around 15deg for lateral strain estimation. The optimal angular increment is around 4deg -6deg, which indicates that only five to seven beam angles are required for this strain-tensor estimation technique.  相似文献
