Input-output finite-time stability of time-varying linear singular systems

This paper studies the input-output finite-time stabilization problem for time-varying linear singular systems. The output and the input refer to the controlled output and the disturbance input,respectively.Two classes of disturbance inputs are considered,which belong to L-two and L-infinity.Sufficient conditions are firstly provided which guarantee the input-output finite-time stability.Based on this,state feedback controllers are designed such that the resultant closed-loop systems are input-output finite-time stable.The conditions are presented in terms of differential linear matrix inequalities.Finally,an example is presented to show the validity of the proposed results.     

Deterministic secure quantum communication without unitary operation based on high-dimensional entanglement swapping

By analysis of the basic properties of entanglement swapping of high-dimensional Bell states,a universal and general deterministic secure quantum communication(DSQC)protocol is proposed,in which unitary operation is not required.By making use of the results of high-dimensional Bell measurement,the sender and the receiver can encode and decode the message respectively by performing the modular addition and subtraction.Two mutually complementary bases are constructed;and according to the property of mutual complement,a method for checking security of the high-dimensional quantum channel is put forward.Some common attack strategies are analyzed,and the corresponding error rates are calculated.Then the upper bound of the threshold of error rate is deduced.

Facilitating the learning process in parallel computing by using instant messaging

Parallel Programming skills may require a long time to acquire. “Think in parallel” is a skill that requires time, effort, and experience. In this work, we propose to facilitate the students’ learning process in parallel programming by using instant messaging. Our aim was to find out whether students’ interaction through instant messaging tools is beneficial for the learning process. In order to do so, we asked several students of an HPC course of the Master’s degree in Computer Science of the University of León to develop a specific parallel application, each of them using a different application program interface: OpenMP, MPI, CUDA, or OpenCL. Even though the used APIs are different, there are common points in the design process. We encouraged students to interact with each other by using Gitter, an instant messaging tool for GitHub users. Our analysis of the communications and results demonstrate that the direct interaction of students through the Gitter tool has a positive impact on the learning process.

Multitouch tablet applications and activities to enhance the social skills of children with autism spectrum disorders

In spite of great improvements in early diagnosis and interventions, most children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are unlikely to live independently when they reach adulthood. We have been conducting research on novel computer-based interventions with the goal of promoting social skills. Working with 26 children with ASD, their teachers, and other stakeholders, we have iteratively developed a set of activities based on applications that run on multitouch tablets. Our observations suggest these activities increased pro-social behaviors such as collaboration and coordination, augmented appreciation for social activities, and provided children with novel forms of expression.     

矿用救生舱环境监控系统软件的研究

给出了矿用救生舱环境监控系统的组成,主要介绍了该系统软件的功能设计、总体架构及界面设计方案。该系统软件可实时显示各传感器的运行状态和检测数据、舱内气体余量、电源电量、照明灯状态、空气净化状态、自动控制状态、舱门状态等,人机交互界面友好,操作简便。该软件经长期连续运行实验,工作正常,达到了设计要求。     

面向IC装备功能仿真平台的多模式测试方法

为了实现全面对IC装备以及装备功能仿真平台进行功能测试,通过分析装备命令响应特点,提出了包含单指令测试、逻辑指令序列测试以及随机指令序列测试的多模式测试方法;单指令测试验证设备以及由相关设备组成的系统的单指令响应正确性;逻辑指令序列从控制系统角度验证设备或系统的连续动态运行性能;随机指令序列测试验证设备或系统的动态随机响应性能;实际应用表明,提出的测试方法可以满足IC装备功能仿真平台的测试需求。     

双目视觉系统在风洞伞摆角测量中的研究与应用

伞系统是飞行器的重要组成部分,其摆角参数是系统安全性的重要指标之一;针对目前风洞试验中伞摆角难以测量的问题,提出了一种基于双目视觉系统的试验方法,该系统主要由两部CCD相机、图像采集卡和控制计算机组成,通过立体视觉标定和数字图像处理技术解算出空间特征标记的三维坐标,根据坐标的空间几何关系计算出伞摆角参数;试验结果表明该方法应用成功,能够同时获取伞运动过程中投影在正交平面上的竖直和水平摆角,且具有系统组成简单、通用性强的优点,有较高的应用价值。
