The light‐harvesting Sb2S3 surface on mesoporous‐TiO2 in inorganic–organic heterojunction solar cells is sulfurized with thioacetamide (TA). The photovoltaic performances are compared before and after TA treatment, and the state of the Sb2S3 is investigated by X‐ray diffraction, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and deep‐level transient spectroscopy (DLTS). Although there are no differences in crystallinity and composition, the TA‐treated solar cells exhibit significantly enhanced performance compared to pristine Sb2S3‐sensitized solar cells. From DLTS analysis, the performance enhancement is mainly attributed to the extinction of trap sites, which are present at a density of (2–5) × 1014 cm?3 in Sb2S3, by TA treatment. Through such a simple treatment, the cell records an overall power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 7.5% through a metal mask under simulated illumination (AM 1.5G, 100 mW cm–2) with a very high open circuit voltage of 711.0 mV. This PCE is, thus far, the highest reported for fully solid‐state chalcogenide‐sensitized solar cells. 相似文献

Highly conductive poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) films as stand‐alone electrodes for organic solar cells have been optimized using a solvent post‐treatment method. The treated PEDOT:PSS films show enhanced conductivities up to 1418 S cm?1, accompanied by structural and chemical changes. The effect of the solvent treatment on PEDOT:PSS has been investigated in detail and is shown to cause a reduction of insulating PSS in the conductive polymer layer. Using these optimized electrodes, ITO‐free, small molecule organic solar cells with a zinc phthalocyanine (ZnPc):fullerene C60 bulk heterojunction have been produced on glass and PET substrates. The system was further improved by pre‐heating the PEDOT:PSS electrodes, which enhanced the power conversion efficiency to the values obtained for solar cells on ITO electrodes. The results show that optimized PEDOT:PSS with solvent and thermal post‐treatment can be a very promising electrode material for highly efficient flexible ITO‐free organic solar cells. 相似文献

This paper presents a wide‐band fine‐resolution digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) with an active inductor using an automatic three‐step coarse and gain tuning loop. To control the frequency of the DCO, the transconductance of the active inductor is tuned digitally. To cover the wide tuning range, a three‐step coarse tuning scheme is used. In addition, the DCO gain needs to be calibrated digitally to compensate for gain variations. The DCO tuning range is 58% at 2.4 GHz, and the power consumption is 6.6 mW from a 1.2 V supply voltage. An effective frequency resolution is 0.14 kHz. The phase noise of the DCO output at 2.4 GHz is –120.67 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset. 相似文献

In this paper, we present an exhaustive study on the influence of resistive-open defects in pre-charge circuits of SRAM memories.
In SRAM memories, the pre-charge circuits operate the pre-charge and equalization at a certain voltage level, in general Vdd,
of all the couples of bit lines of the memory array. This action is essential in order to ensure correct read operations.
We have analyzed the impact of resistive-opens placed in different locations of these circuits. Each defect studied in this
paper disturbs the pre-charge circuit in a different way and for different resistive ranges, but the produced effect on the
normal memory action is always the perturbation of the read operations. This faulty behavior can be modeled by Un-Restored
Write Faults (URWFs) and Un-Restored Read Faults (URRFs), because there is an incorrect pre-charge/equalization of the bit
lines after a write or read operation that disturbs the following read operation. In the last part of the paper, we demonstrate
that the test of URWFs is more effective in terms of resistive defect detection than that of URRFs and we list the necessary
test conditions to detect them.

In this paper we propose a new approach to generate a primary input blocking pattern for applying to the primary inputs during shift cycle such that the switching activity occurred in the combinational part
of the circuit under test can be suppressed as much as possible. The primary input blocking technique suppresses transitions
of gates in the combinational part during scan by assigning controlling values to one of the gates' inputs. However, simultaneously
assigning controlling values to the gates may result in conflicts in the setting of binary values on the primary inputs. Instead
of the heuristics based on fanout in other approaches, we use the impact function which is based on transition density to
determine the priorities of the gates to be blocked. Experiments performed on the ISCAS 89 benchmark circuits show that the
proposed approach can always produce better results than the existing approaches.

This paper presents Quality of Service (QoS) based routing and priority class assignment algorithms. It introduces an end-to-end
delay margin balancing approach to routing, and uses it to formulate a nonlinear optimization problem. In a single-class network,
the formulation is shown to be convex; however in a multi-class priority network, it is only convex within specific regions,
and is infeasible otherwise. A centralized off-line computation technique is proposed to calculate both the route configuration
and end-to-end priority assignment. A gradient-based solution in the convex region and a heuristic to overcome the multi-class
discontinuity are derived. An approximation of the optimization problem is developed for on-line distributed processing is
then presented. Using the approximation, arriving traffic flows can use vector routing tables to search for routes. Compared
with minimum-hop, minimum-delay, and min-interference routing algorithms, the proposed approach enables the single-class network
to accommodate more users of different end-to-end delay requirements. In a multi-class priority network, results show that
using the objective function to combine route and priority class assignment further increases the supportable network traffic
volume.
Mohamed Ashour received his B.Sc. (1991) and M.Sc. (1997) in Electrical Engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He worked for
Hughes and General Dynamics as a Telecommunications Engineer. Currently, he is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Electrical
and Computer Engineering of McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. His current area of research is focused on traffic
engineering, routing, and QoS provisioning in DiffServ and MPLS Networks. He is also interested in multi-class queuing analysis
of long-range traffic, and QoS provisioning in ad hoc networks and satellite communications.
Tho Le-Ngoc obtained his B. Eng. (with Distinction) in Electrical Engineering in 1976, his M.Eng. in Microprocessor Applications in 1978
from McGill University, Montreal, and his Ph.D. in Digital Communications 1983 from the University of Ottawa, Canada.
During 1977–1982, he was with Spar Aerospace Limited as a Design Engineer and then a Senior Design Engineer, involved in the
development and design of the microprocessor-based controller of Canadarm (of the Space Shuttle), and SCPC/FM, SCPC/PSK, TDMA
satellite communications systems.
During 1982–1985, he was an Engineering Manager of the Radio Group in the Department of Development Engineering of SRTelecom
Inc., developed the new point-to-multipoint DA-TDMA/TDM Subscriber Radio System SR500. He was the System Architect of this
first digital point-to-multipoint wireless TDMA system.
During 1985–2000, he was a Professor the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Concordia University. Since
2000, he has been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of McGill University.
His research interest is in the area of broadband digital communications with a special emphasis on Modulation, Coding, and
Multiple-Access Techniques. He is a Senior Member of the Ordre des Ingénieur du Quebec, a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical
and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC), and a Fellow of the Canadian Academy
of Engineering (CAE). He is the recipient of the 2004 Canadian Award in Telecommunications Research, and recipient of the

In this paper, a novel dual-metric, the maximum and minimum Squared Euclidean Distance Increment (SEDI) Brought by changing the hard decision symbol, is introduced to measure the reliability of the received M-ary Phase Shift Keying (MPSK) symbols over a Rayleigh fading channel. Based on the dual-metric, a Chase-type soft decoding algorithm, which is called erased-Chase algorithm, is developed for Reed-Solomon (RS) coded MPSK schemes. The proposed algorithm treats the unreliable symbols with small maximum SEDI as erasures, and tests the non-erased unreliable symbols with small minimum SEDI as the Chase-2 algorithm does. By introducing optimality test into the decoding procedure, much more reduction in the decoding complexity can be achieved. Simulation results of the RS(63, 42, 22)-coded 8-PSK scheme over a Rayleigh fading channel show that the proposed algorithm provides a very efficient tradeoff between the decoding complexity and the error performance. Finally, an adaptive scheme for the number of erasures is introduced into the decoding algorithm. 相似文献

This paper presents two different algorithms that derive the cohesion structure in the form of lexical chains from two kinds of language resources HowNet and TongYiCiCiLin. The re-search that connects the cohesion structure of a text to the derivation of its summary is displayed. A novel model of automatic text summarization is devised,based on the data provided by lexical chains from original texts. Moreover,the construction rules of lexical chains are modified accord-ing to characteristics of the knowledge database in order to be more suitable for Chinese summa-rization.
