The profile of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released from Glomerella cingulata using solid phase microextraction (SPME) with different fibers, Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), Polydimethylsiloxane/Divinylbenzene (PDMS/DVB), Carboxen/Polydimethylsiloxane (CAR/PDMS) and Divinylbenzene/Carboxen/Polydimethylsiloxane (DVB/CAR/PDMS), was investigated. C4-C6 aliphatic alcohols were the predominant fraction of VOCs isolated by CAR/PDMS fiber. Sesquiterpene hydrocarbons represented 20.3% of VOCs isolated by PDMS fiber. During the growth phase, Ochracin was produced in the large majority of VOCs. 3-Methylbutanol and phenylethyl alcohol were found in the log phase of it. Alcohols were found in cultures of higher age, while sesquiterpenes were found to be characteristic of initial growth stage of G. cingulata.  相似文献

Since the Second World War, the urban fabric of Tokyo has been shaped by individual landownership and the proliferation of the detached house. For most Japanese architectural offices, domestic practice provides the mainstay of their work. This focus on the single private house, though, also limits the range of possibilities for urban interventions. This study aims to investigate the shear and tensile impact strength of solder ball attachments. Tests were conducted on Ni-doped and non-Ni-doped Sn-0.7wt.% Cu, Sn-37wt.% Pb and Sn-3.0wt.% Ag-0.7wt.% Cu solder ball grid arrays (BGAs) placed on Cu substrates, which were as-reflowed and aged, over a wide range of displacement rates from 10 to 4000 mm/s in shear and from 1 to 400 mm/s in tensile tests. Ni additions to the Sn-0.7wt.% Cu solders has slowed the growth of the interface intermetallic compounds (IMCs) and made the IMC layer morphology smooth. As-reflowed Ni-doped Sn-0.7wt.% Cu BGA joints show superior properties at high speed shear and tensile impacts compared to the non-Ni-doped Sn-0.7wt.% Cu and Sn-3.0wt.% Ag-0.7wt.% Cu BGAs. Sn-3.0wt.% Ag-0.7wt.% Cu BGAs exhibit the least resistance in both shear and tensile tests among the four compositions of solders, which may result from the cracks in the IMC layers introduced during the reflow processes.  相似文献

This study examines the epitaxial growth of the intermetallic compound (IMC) of Cu6Sn5 (or (Cu,Ni)6Sn5) that forms at the interface between molten Sn-based lead-free solders and non-textured polycrystalline Cu substrates. Sn, Sn–Cu, Sn–Cu–Ni and Sn–Ag–Cu solders were investigated. The dominant growing planes in a hexagonal structure of this IMC on Cu substrates are (101) and (102). Addition of trace Ni into Sn–Cu solders leads to an increase in (101) growth and a decrease in (102) growth. The presence of Ag in Sn–Ag–Cu solders facilitates (102) growth and suppresses (101) growth. Such an epitaxial growth should have a large influence on the mechanical and electrical characteristics of the Sn-based solder/Cu joints.  相似文献

Five hundred and thirty-three patients have been treated after thoracic and cardiovascular surgery in our ICU during the last four years. Cardiac failure was shown in 150 cases, respiratory failure in 132 cases, renal failure in 76 cases, and hepatic failure in 84 cases. The appropriate mechanical organ-supports (MOS) were applied in the following cases: intra-aortic balloon pumping (IABP) in 48 cases, veno-arterial bypass (VAB) in 18 cases, left ventricular assist device (LVAD) in 1 case, respirator in 132 cases, continuous hemofiltration (CHF) in 44 cases, hemodialysis (HD) in 13 cases, peritoneal dialysis (PD) in 21 cases, Continuous intensive peritoneal dialysis (CIPD) in 7 cases, and plasma exchange (PEx) in 22 cases. The results of MOS6 which required exocorporeal circulation were not satisfactory, especially CHF (mortality rate 75.0%), HD (76.9%), and VAB (100%). Though, the results of IABP (35.4%) and CIPD (14.3%) were significantly better. The main cause of early death (within 6 post-operative days) was low output syndrome (LOS) (63.6%). However, that of late death (beyond 14 post-operative days) was sepsis (66.7%). Therefore, it is important for the survival of these patients to control LOS during the early post operative period and then to concentrate on the prevention of infection.  相似文献

Human renal cell carcinoma (RCC) tissue and a cell line derived therefrom, SMKT-R3, showed markedly increased glycolipid sulfotransferase [cerebroside sulfotransferase (CST); EC 2.8.2.11] activity and accumulated sulfoglycolipids. Recently, we cloned a human CST cDNA from a SMKT-R3 cDNA library (K. Honke et al., J. Biol. Chem., 272: 4864-4868, 1997). In this study, we investigated the expression of the CST gene in seven human RCC lines (SMKT-R1, SMKT-R2, SMKT-R3, SMKT-R4, TOS-1, TOS-2, and ACHN) and their normal counterpart, human renal proximal tubular cells. On Northern blot analysis, a marked increase of CST mRNA was observed in every RCC line, except for ACHN, as compared with normal cells. ACHN cells showed a slightly increased level of CST mRNA. CST activity was correlated with the amount of mRNA. Sulfoglycolipid analysis revealed that expression of lactosylceramide sulfate was correlated with the CST level. Furthermore, we examined the effects of epidermal growth factor (EGF), tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate, and genistein, which are known to regulate CST activity in SMKT-R3 cells, on CST-gene expression in various RCC cells. On treatment with EGF, CST mRNA time-dependently increased in accord with its activity in SMKT-R3 cells. Yet, augmentation by EGF was only observed in SMKT-R3. In contrast, a reduction of CST mRNA and activity by tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate and genistein was observed in all of the lines examined. Taken together, these findings indicate that in human RCC cells, the CST gene is generally overexpressed via a signaling pathway involving protein kinase-C and tyrosine kinases.  相似文献

A 122 kDa RNase from eggs of Xenopus laevis was purified by sequential chromatography on Sephadex G-75, DEAE-cellulose, heparin-Sepharose and TSK gel G3000SW columns, and gave a single 60 kDa band on SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis under reducing and nonreducing conditions. The RNase composed of two 60 kDa subunits is able to recognize pyrimidine bases specifically. The pH optimum of the RNase was 7.5 in Tris-HCl buffer. The enzyme activity was abolished by treatment at 80 degrees C for 5 min and pH 2 or 12 for 1 h. Since egg lectins with RNase activity obtained from Rana catesbeiana and R. japonica and bovine pancreatic RNase A show about 30% protein homology and these three proteins are 12-14 kDa heat-stable RNases, [K. Titani, K. Takio, M. Kuwada, K. Nitta, F. Sakakibara, H. Kawauchi, G. Takayanagi and S. Hakomori, Biochemistry, 26, 2189 (1987); Y: Kamiya, F. Oyama, R. Oyama, F. Sakakibara, K. Nitta, H. Kawauchi, Y. Takayanagi and K. Titani, J. Biochem. (Tokyo), 108, 139 (1990)], the data suggest that the X. laevis egg RNase is a unique protein compared with RNases from not only amphibians, but also mammals.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Metastatic adenocarcinoma to the uterine cervix from gastric cancer is rare, and the clinicopathologic features of this metastasis are unclear. METHODS: A clinicopathologic review of 16 patients with metastatic adenocarcinoma to the uterine cervix from gastric cancer was performed. RESULTS: The ages of the patients ranged from 29 to 57 years, and 81.3% of the patients were premenopausal. Nine of the patients had undergone gastrectomy previously. In 11 patients the histologic type of the gastric cancer was poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma and, in 5 patients, signet ring cell carcinoma. The cervical metastasis was diagnosed 11-121 months (mean, 57.5 months) after the diagnosis of the gastric cancer in 10 of the patients. In six patients, the cervical metastasis was discovered synchronously or before the diagnosis of the gastric cancer. The colposcopic findings were normal in 57.1%, but 56.3% had abnormal cervical smears. In all patients, tumor cells were present in the dilated lymphatics of the cervix. Metastases to the uterine body and bilateral ovaries were common, and half of the patients had metastases to the paraaortic lymph nodes. Extirpation of the cervix was performed in six patients. The prognosis was poor, regardless of the treatment method. CONCLUSIONS: The route of metastasis to the cervix is surmised to be retrograde lymphatic, and this extension is often slow. Periodic gynecologic examinations should be performed indefinitely for premenopausal female patients with advanced gastric cancer.  相似文献
