An energy-efficient catalytic reactor for producing synthesis gas from methane and liquid hydrocarbons is proposed that is based on the coupling of an endothermic reaction (steam reforming of methane, hexane, or isooctane) and an exothermic reaction (hydrogen oxidation by atmospheric oxygen) in a single cocurrent apparatus. To describe the processes in such an apparatus, a two-dimensional two-temperature mathematical model is developed. It was revealed experimentally and by mathematical modeling that the heat- and mass-transfer coefficients of the gas flow in contact with the catalytically active wall in the exothermic reaction zone considerably affect the thermal conditions in the reactor. 相似文献

The results of the experimental study of mechanical treatment of highly refractory ceramic parts made of various compositions
based on silicon nitride are described. The revealed regularities of the surface layer and defect formation have been used
to develop a two-stage process for working these parts, which ensures high machining efficiency and a minimum level of surface
layer defects. The proposed technology has been used in making cutting plates from nitride ceramics, which has increased their
average resistance by 15–20%.

An algorithm for determining kinetic characteristics of the process of drying of forest combustibles by the modified Hertz–Knudsen law in isothermal heating has been suggested and tested. It is shown that this algorithm allows obtaining of a stable solution of the inverse kinetic problem of onedimensional determination of the heat of evaporation and a preexponential factor with an error proportional to the error of initial experimental data.
