At the TEXTOR tokamak in Ju?lich, Germany, a modular dispersion interferometer was installed and operated for the first time. Equipped with four lines of sight, the line-integrated density could be measured in parallel at different major radii with a resolution of better than 3 × 10(17) m(-2). This paper will describe the setup and show the first measurement results. Among others, it was possible to detect the evolution of a disruption with a time resolution of 4 μs. The movement of the runaway beam following the disruption could be resolved spatially and temporarily.  相似文献

The paper presents the results of recent study of anisotropic plasma with thermonuclear ions confined in the axially symmetric Gas Dynamic Trap (GDT) mirror. Anisotropic ions are produced by the perpendicular injection of two focused 18 keV neutral beams in the small mirror section attached to the GDT central cell. We observed build-up of density of anisotropic ions up to approximately 1013cm−3 with the localized spatial profile and the mean energy of 7 keV. The average fast ion density three times exceeded the background plasma density. Fast ion accumulation is accompanied by the decrease of the plasma flux from the central cell recorded outside the mirror, that was qualified as a potential barrier development causing confinement improvement. Analysis of measurement results compared with estimates of plasma parameters in the compact mirror allows to scale to the experiments with next generation neutral beams with increased power and pulse duration.  相似文献

Thermal flow reversal and efficiency of interphase isotope exchange in the course of multiplication of the single effect of boron isotope separation in the two-phase system gaseous BF3-liquid complex of BF3 with nitromethane in an isotope exchange column at atmospheric pressure and 293 K was studied. The completeness of flow reversal is acceptable for concentrating 10B. Approximately 19 at. % difference in the concentrations of the isotope 10B was attained on an experimental installation with a packed mass-exchange column 11 mm in diameter at a packing bed height of 148 cm and spiral-prismatic packing with an element size of 1.25 × 1.25 × 0.2 mm. The degree of separation was K = 3.5, and HETP was in the range from 5.2 ± 0.8 to 8.0 ± 1.0 cm, suggesting high efficiency of the mass exchange.  相似文献
