The exact contribution of this paper is a review of existing state‐of‐the‐art routing strategies for optical burst switched networks developed by researchers to deal with burst contention before it happens. Routing schemes are implemented in space domain, which make them simple and cost effective. Additionally, the paper points out the importance of routing as an effective way to deal with burst contention compared to other solutions. It also underlines the main differences between contention avoidance schemes and contention resolution techniques for optical burst switched networks. We believe that this review will help different optical burst switched researchers involved in the development of route optimization algorithms to control burst contention. The stretch formability of ultrafine-grained (UFG) interstitial-free steel (IF-steel) produced by equal-channel angular extrusion/pressing (ECAE/P) via various strain paths was investigated with a miniaturized Erichsen test. A coarse-grained (CG) sample demonstrated high formability with an Erichsen index (EI) of 4.5 mm. Grain refinement by ECAE decreased the formability, but increased the required punch load (F EI) depending on the applied strain paths. The EI values were 0.35, 2.90, and 3.91 mm for 8A-, 8Bc-, and 8C-processed samples, respectively. Decrease in the biaxial stretch formability was attributed to the limited strain-hardening capacity of the UFG microstructure. Also, the grain morphology of the UFG microstructure was found to be very influential on stretch formability. Heavily elongated grain morphology in the 8A-processed microstructure resulted in the lowest formability due to the increased cracking tendency through elongated grain boundaries. However, the UFG microstructures with equiaxed grains obtained after 8C and 8Bc ECAE resulted in better formability compared to 8A. The UFG microstructure reduced the roughness (orange peel effect) of the free surface of the biaxial stretched samples by decreasing the non-uniform grain flow leading to the so-called orange peel effect. It should be noted that the strength and ductility values gained from uniaxial tensile tests are not comparable directly to the EI and F EI values determined from the Erichsen tests. Finally, it is important to emphasize that the UFG microstructure produced by a suitable strain path leading to equiaxed grains below 1 μm could be highly deformed even under multiaxial stress conditions. 相似文献

The accurate 3D finite element simulation of the Friction Stir Welding (FSW) process requires a proper knowledge of both material and interface behaviors, but friction, the key phenomenon of this process, is quite difficult to model and identify. According to the extreme encountered conditions and the highly coupled nature of the material flow, simple tribological tests are not representative enough, so the welding process itself has been utilized in most analyses of the literature, although its complexity has led to use simplified numerical models and approaches. The recent development of more accurate 3D simulation software, which allows modeling the entire complexity of the FSW process, makes it possible to follow a much more rigorous inverse analysis (or calibration) approach. FSW trials are conducted on an Al 6061 aluminum plate with an unthreaded concave tool. Forces and tool temperatures are accurately recorded at steady welding state, for different welding speeds. The numerical simulations are based on an Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) formulation that has been implemented in the Forge3® F.E. software. The main feature of the numerical approach is to accurately compute the contact and frictional surface between the plate and the tool. A first study using Norton's friction model show the great sensitivity of welding forces and tool temperatures to friction coefficients, the need to take into account the changes brought to the contact surface by slight friction variations (thanks to the ALE formulation), the possibility to get very accurate calibrations on forces, and the impossibility to properly render the tool temperature profile. On the other hand, the use of Coulomb's friction model allows obtaining realistic temperature profiles and so calibrating a friction coefficient that offers an excellent agreement with experiments, on forces as much as on tool temperatures, for various welding speeds. 相似文献

Chen (Computers and Electrical Engineering, vol. 30, 2004) illustrated that Tseng et al.’s authenticated encryption schemes, with message linkages for message flows, do not achieve their claimed integrity and authenticity properties. Furthermore, Chen presented some modified schemes to repair these flaws. In this paper, we show that the modified schemes proposed by Chen are not secure. In particular, we present an attack that allows a dishonest referee, in case of a dispute, to decrypt all the future and past authenticated ciphertext between the contended parties. Automated detection of welding defects in radiographic images becomes nontrivial when uneven illumination, contrast and noise are present. In this paper, a new approach using surface thresholding method is proposed to detect defects in radiographic images of welding joints. In the first stage, several image processing techniques namely fuzzy c means clustering, region filling, mean filtering, edge detection, Otsu thresholding, and morphological operations method are utilized to locate the area where defects might exist. This is followed by the construction of the inverse thresholding surface and its implementation to locate defects in the identified area. The proposed method was tested on 60 radiographic images and it obtained 94.6% sensitivity. Its performance is compared to that of the watershed segmentation, which obtained 69.6%. 相似文献

The essential oils obtained by hydrodistilation of the leaves and rhizomes of Zingiber officinale var. rubrum Theilade were analysed by capillary GC and GC–MS. Forty-six constituents were identified in the leaf oil, while 54 were identified in the oil from the rhizomes. The leaf oil was clearly dominated by β-caryophyllene (31.7%), while the oil from the rhizomes was predominantly monoterpenoid, with camphene (14.5%), geranial (14.3%), and geranyl acetate (13.7%) the three most abundant constituents. The evaluation of antibacterial activities using the micro-dilution technique revealed that both the leaf and rhizome oils were moderately active against the Gram-positive bacteria Bacilluslicheniformis, Bacillus spizizenii and Staphylococcus aureus, and the Gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas stutzeri. 相似文献

Gas emission during combustion of mixed tropical wood, bamboo, oil palm trunk, acacia, and rubber wood have been investigated by using TG–MS in presence of oxygen as well as FTIR. The weight decreasing profiles and the gas formation rates of oil palm trunk was significantly different among the samples although their elemental composition was almost the same from biomass samples. It was found that H2O is the main product formed for all samples. The evolving rates of the gaseous products during the combustion and infrared spectrums such as CO, H2O, CO2, CH4 and COOH+ were found. A peanut milk‐based infant formula was developed from peanuts. The effects of extraction pH and temperature on the yield and protein content of spray‐dried peanut milk were evaluated. Peanut‐based infant formulas (PBIF‐75) was developed using spray‐dried peanut milk and a premix of vitamins and minerals. Physical properties, approximate composition, minerals, vitamins and amino acid composition, and caloric value of PBIF‐75 were evaluated and compared to those of soya‐based infant formula (SBIF) and World Health Organization (WHO) F‐75. Spray‐dried peanut milk yield was 15–18% with a protein content of 30–45%, depending on the extraction pH and temperature. PBIF‐75 was nearly identical to WHO F‐75 in terms of amino acid profile, most vitamins and minerals, proximate composition, caloric value, and physicochemical characteristics such as water activity and colour. However, few of the vitamins and minerals in PBIF‐75 will require further adjustment to fully meet WHO’s requirements of a recovery formula for undernourished infants. 相似文献

In this study, we analyze several Cu-Cl cycles by examining various design schemes for an overall system and its components, in order to identify potential performance improvements. The factors that determine the number and effective grouping of steps for new design schemes are analyzed. A thermodynamic analysis and several parametric studies are presented for various configurations. The energy efficiency is found to be 44% for the five-step thermochemical process, 43% for the four-step process and 41% for the three-step process, based on the lower heating value of hydrogen. Also, conclusions regarding implementation of these new configurations are discussed and the potential benefits ascertained. 相似文献
