The influence of washing and selection processes on the contents of glycoalkaloid and other toxic compounds during industrial chip production

The aim of this study was to determine the influence of pretreatment selection and washing processes of potatoes on the manual and optic control on the contents of nitrates (V), and glycoalkaloids after the peeling and frying processes are applied in the industrial production of potato chips. The highest reduction in nitrate quantity was found after the manual selection process of the potatoes and their slicing, as well as after frying the chips. The preselection process of the raw material, slicing and rinsing the potato slices, as well as frying the chips, had the largest influence on the losses of glycoalkaloids. In these samples, 74% remained after pretreatment of the raw material, 29% remained after slicing, and 10% remained in the chips after frying relative to the unpeeled potatoes. 相似文献

It is well known that the usability of a typical touch screen depends on several parameters, including interface design, device characteristics, and input operations. However, there is virtually no knowledge regarding how people evaluate interaction with 3D display‐integrated touch screen. Twenty‐one participants were asked to use standard touch screen to point to targets in planes of different planes on an autostereoscopic display and evaluate how natural and easy this action was. Clear differences in pointing experiences across depth levels and input operators were found. Pointing to targets in a back plane was reported to be more natural and easier than the same action with targets in a front plane. The use of finger input was less unnatural than the use of a stylus, but the use of stylus with icons in the front plane was more fun and entertaining. 相似文献

Generalized M-2M Mapping Scheme for SLM and PTS Based OFDM Systems Without Side-Information 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is an attractive multicarrier modulation scheme, but it suffers from the problem of high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). Selected mapping (SLM) and partial transmit sequences (PTS) are two well known, distortion-less techniques with good PAPR reduction capabilities. But, both the methods require side information (SI) about the phase rotation factors to recover the original data signal at the receiving end. The transmission of SI not only results in data rate loss but also, in BER performance degradation if SI gets corrupted over the channel. In this paper we have proposed a new mapping scheme, named “ $M\text{- }2M$ Mapping scheme” for SLM and PTS based methods to completely eliminate the requirement of SI at the receiver. In this scheme $M$ data points are mapped to the constellation points of 2M-ary modulation scheme using (1, j) as the phase rotation factors. Some criteria are suggested with which the method is applied for different constellation sizes, $M=4$ to $M=16$ . The method can be easily coupled with conventional SLM and PTS techniques. When compared with the existing methods like multi point square mapping, which do not need SI, our technique is scalable and provides good PAPR reduction capability with consistent BER performance. 相似文献
