The dehydrofluorination of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) powder and films was studied using several kinds of base solution. Especially the reactivity of 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]-7-undecene (DBU) in ethanol, KOH in 2-propanol and aqueous NaOH solution with tetrabutylammonium bromide was investigated by the change in infrared (IR) and ultraviolet-visible (UV-VI) absorptions of PVDF films. The elimination reactions by DBU or KOH were considered to be accompanied by substitution reaction. The electrical conductivity of dehydrofluorinated PVDF films increased markedly by doping with iodine, and the activation energies of conduction were found to be between 0.4 and 0.5 eV. When a drawn PVDF film was dehydrofluorinated and doped with iodine, anisotropy in conductivity was observed.  相似文献

The reduction of energy consumption has become the global task in recent years as a countermeasure to address the global warming issue caused by the mass discharge of carbon dioxide. The volume of carbon dioxide emission from automobiles has become approximately 21 % of the total emission by volume, so improved fuel efficiency is strongly urged and the development and application of new technologies have been actively implemented; the technologies required to reduce the weight of the automobile body, in particular, has attracted a much attention.1 Amongst these, aluminium alloys have a high strength for their light weight and have superior recycling properties, so the move to reduce the automobile body weight by replacing the existing materials with aluminium alloys has progressed rapidly and totally aluminium alloy automobiles have now become commercially available.2  相似文献

AC4C cast Al alloy and zinc-coated steel are successfully lap jointed using friction stir welding. The interface microstructure is investigated using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The mechanical properties of the joints are evaluated using tensile test. Experimental results show that the lap joint consisted of four part structures, i.e. stir zone structure of Al alloy, new intermetallic compounds layer, old intermetallic compounds layer of original zinc coat and base material of steel. The thickness of intermetallic compounds layer increases with decreasing welding speeds and has a significant effect on the strengths of the joints. Heavy thickness of intermetallic compounds layer seriously deteriorates the mechanical properties of the joints. The intermetallic compounds layer mainly contains Fe2Al5 and Fe4Al13.  相似文献

A novel in vitro percutaneous absorptiometry utilizing a portable open-ended photoacoustic (PA) cell as the longitudinal diffusion cell was developed. With this system it was feasible to measure the reduction of drug applied to a membrane by the PA method and the amount of drug penetrating the membrane to the diffusion cell by absorbance, simultaneously in real time. A shikonin ointment prepared in a hydrocarbon vehicle was used as the model sample. The in vitro percutaneous absorptiometry was performed by means of a physiological saline solution and the skin of a hairless mouse. As a result, after the lag time the absorbance increased in proportion to time, whereas the PA signal reduced in proportion to the square root of time. As the signal obtained by the PA method corresponds to the amount of drug released from the ointment, a good correlation with Higuchi's theory is attained. Consequently, these results suggested the usefulness of this novel percutaneous absorptiometry technique which utilizes the PA method.  相似文献

Bioaccumulation of synthetic musks in a marine food chain was investigated by analyzing marine organisms at various trophic levels, including lugworm, clam, crustacean, fish, marine mammal, and bird samples collected from tidal flat and shallow water areas of the Ariake Sea, Japan. Two of the polycyclic musks, HHCB and AHTN, were the dominant compounds found in most of the samples analyzed, whereas nitro musks were not detected in any of the organisms, suggesting greater usage of polycyclic musks relative to the nitro musks in Japan. The highest concentrations of HHCB were detected in clams (258-2730 ng/g lipid wt.), whereas HHCB concentrations in mallard and black-headed gull were low, and comparable with concentrations in fish and crab. These results are in contrast to the bioaccumulation pattern of polychlorinated biphenyls; for which a positive correlation between the concentration and the trophic status of organisms was found. Such a difference in the bioaccumulation is probably due to the metabolism and elimination of HHCB in higher trophic organisms. Temporal trends in concentrations of synthetic musks were examined by analyzing tissues of marine mammals from Japanese coastal waters collected during 1977-2005. HHCB concentrations in marine mammals have shown significant increase since the early 1990s, suggesting a continuous input of this compound into the marine environment. Comparison of the time trend for HHCB with those for PCBs and PBDEs suggested that the rates of increase in HHCB concentrations were higher than the other classes of pollutants. To examine the geographical distribution of HHCB, we have analyzed tissues of fish, marine mammals, and birds collected from several locations. Synthetic musks were not detected in a sperm whale (pelagic species) from Japanese coastal water and in eggs of south polar skua from Antarctica. While the number of samples analyzed is limited, these results imply a lack of long-range transportation potential of synthetic musks in the environment.  相似文献

After allogeneic bone marrow transplantation (allo-BMT), recipient alveolar macrophages (AM) are gradually replaced by AM of the donor origin. An influx of mononuclear phagocytes of donor origin to the lung is responsible for the repopulation, but the detailed kinetics remain unclear. We therefore studied 24 BMT recipients who underwent bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) from 24 to 83 days after BMT. AM cell number, size, morphology, proliferating ability, and genotype of AM were measured. Before day 50, the number and size of AM in BAL fluid were similar to those of normal nonsmokers. However, after day 50, the mean number of AM increased threefold and the mean cell size decreased due to the increase of small AM. These small cells are presumably of donor origin based on DNA fingerprinting analysis and based on fluorescence in situ hybridization for the Y chromosome in a sex-mismatched case. Immunohistochemistry and cell cycle analysis demonstrated that the increase in AM number coincided with a remarkable increase of AM expressing proliferating cell nuclear antigen, suggesting that small AM are proliferating. This is the first report representing that augmented proliferation of donor AM in situ may contribute to the reconstitution of AM population after BMT.  相似文献

Aromatic nitroso-compounds such as nitrosobenzene inhibited the respiratory burst of intact neutrophils induced by various stimulants, including phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate and a chemotactic peptide. The compounds also inhibited NADPH-dependent oxygen consumption by cell-free preparations of neutrophils. This indicates that nitroso-compounds act directly on the NADPH-oxidase system. The inhibitory effects induced by several nitroso-compounds, 2-nitrosotoluene, nitrosobenzene, 4-nitrosophenol, and 1-nitrosopyrrolidine, were examined and their inhibition constants, the concentrations causing 50% reduction of oxygen consumption, were found to be 0.043, 0.173, 0.672, and 32.1 mM, respectively. These values correlated well with the hydrophobicity of the compounds: a more hydrophobic compound was a more potent inhibitor against NADPH oxidase, suggesting that the oxidase has a hydrophobic site(s) for interaction with the inhibitors.  相似文献

A new chemical sensing system using an electrical oscillator has been developed. This sensing system measures the electrical ‘non-linearity’ at the surface of an electrode immersed in a test solution: a sinusoidal voltage is applied to the electrode and the higher harmonics of the output current are obtained by Fourier transformation. This sensing system has been used to detect and quantify surfactant molecules in solutions. The relative intensity P2/P1 of the peaks of the second (P2) and first (P1) harmonics in the output current was found to be linearly correlated with the logarithms of the concentrations of cationic surfactants such as cetylpyridium bromide (CPB) and cetyl-N,N,N-trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), but not with those of the anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) or the neutral surfactant Triton X-100. The reproducibility of this sensing system was shown to be excellent.  相似文献

A new approximate method is developed for calculating three-dimensional magnetic fields in magnetic circuits composed of connected axisymmetric and rectangular regions. Using this new method, fairly accurate solutions can be obtained when the leakage flux from the magnetic circuit is small. In this paper, the new method is explained and then the usefulness of the technique is clarified by comparing calculated and measured flux densities.  相似文献
