This paper addresses the problem of automated code generation for a High Level Architecture compliant federate application given its behavior model. The behavior model is a part of the architectural model of a federation that the federate can participate in. The federate behavior model is based on Live Sequence Charts, adopted as the behavioral specification formalism in the Federation Architecture Metamodel (FAMM). FAMM serves as a formal language for describing federation architectures. An objective is to help the testing of federation architecture by means of its prototype implementation early in the development lifecycle. A further objective is to help developers construct complete federate applications that are well modularized. The approach to achieve these objectives is aspect‐oriented in that the generated code, which handles the federate's interactions with a federation execution, serves as the base code, where the computation logic is to be weaved as an aspect. Engineering design has great importance in the cost and safety of engineering structures. Rock mass rating (RMR) system has become a reliable and widespread pre-design system for its ease of use and variety in engineering applications such as tunnels, foundations, and slopes. In RMR system, six parameters are employed in classifying a rock mass: uniaxial compressive strength of intact rock material (UCS), rock quality designation (RQD), spacing of discontinuities (SD), condition of discontinuities (CD), condition of groundwater (CG), and orientation of discontinuities (OD). The ratings of the first three parameters UCS, RQD, and SD are determined via graphic readings where the last three parameters CD, CG, and OD are estimated by the tables that are composed of interval valued linguistic expressions. Because of these linguistic expresions, the estimated rating values of the last three become fuzzy especially when the related conditions are close to border of any two classes. In such cases, these fuzzy situations could lead up incorrect rock class estimations. In this study, an empirical database based on the linguistic expressions for CD, CG, and OD is developed for training Artificial Neural Network (ANN) classifiers. The results obtained from graphical readings and ANN classifiers are unified in a simulation model (USM). The data obtained from five different tunnels, which were excavated for derivation purpose, are used to evaluate classification results of conventional method and proposed model. Finally, it is noted that more accurate and realistic ratings are reached by means of proposed model.  相似文献

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems have gained major prominence by enabling companies to streamline their operations, leverage and integrate business data process. In order to implement an ERP project successfully, it is necessary to select an ERP system which can be aligned with the needs of the company. Thus, a robust decision making approach for ERP software selection requires both company needs and characteristics of the ERP system and their interactions to be taken into account. This paper develops a novel decision framework for ERP software selection based on quality function deployment (QFD), fuzzy linear regression and zero–one goal programming. The proposed framework enables both company demands and ERP system characteristics to be considered, and provides the means for incorporating not only the relationships between company demands and ERP system characteristics but also the interactions between ERP system characteristics through adopting the QFD principles. The presented methodology appears as a sound investment decision making tool for ERP systems as well as other information systems. The potential use of the proposed decision framework is illustrated through an application.  相似文献

In wind energy conversion systems, one of the operational problems is the changeability and discontinuity of wind. In most cases, wind speed can fluctuate rapidly. Hence, quality of produced energy becomes an important problem in wind energy conversion plants. Several control techniques have been applied to improve the quality of power generated from wind turbines. Pitch control is the most efficient and popular power control method, especially for variable-speed wind turbines. It is a useful method for power regulation above the rated wind speed. This paper proposes an artificial neural network-based pitch angle controller for wind turbines. In the simulations, a variable-speed wind turbine is modeled, and its operation is observed by using two types of artificial neural network controllers. These are multi-layer perceptrons with back propagation learning algorithm and radial basis function network. It is shown that the power output was successfully regulated during high wind speed, and as a result overloading or outage of the wind turbine was prevented.  相似文献

Reconstructing high dynamic range (HDR) images of a complex scene involving moving objects and dynamic backgrounds is prone to artifacts. A large number of methods have been proposed that attempt to alleviate these artifacts, known as HDR deghosting algorithms. Currently, the quality of these algorithms are judged by subjective evaluations, which are tedious to conduct and get quickly outdated as new algorithms are proposed on a rapid basis. In this paper, we propose an objective metric which aims to simplify this process. Our metric takes a stack of input exposures and the deghosting result and produces a set of artifact maps for different types of artifacts. These artifact maps can be combined to yield a single quality score. We performed a subjective experiment involving 52 subjects and 16 different scenes to validate the agreement of our quality scores with subjective judgements and observed a concordance of almost 80%. Our metric also enables a novel application that we call as hybrid deghosting, in which the output of different deghosting algorithms are combined to obtain a superior deghosting result.  相似文献

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a major cause of cancer worldwide. Proteomic studies provide opportunities to uncover targets for the diagnosis and treatment of this disease. However, in HCC developing in a setting of cirrhosis, the detection of proteome alterations may be hampered by the increased cellular heterogeneity of tissue when analysing global liver homogenates. The aim of this study was to evaluate whether the identification of proteome alterations in these HCC cases was improved when the differential protein profile between tumour and non-tumour areas of liver was determined using hepatocytes isolated by laser microdissection (LM). Differential profiles established with LM-hepatocytes and liver section homogenates using 2-DE and MS exhibited noticeable differences: 30% of the protein spots with deregulated expression in tumorous LM-samples did not display any modification in homogenates; conversely 15% of proteins altered in tumorous homogenates were not impaired in LM-hepatocytes. These alterations resulted from the presence in cirrhotic liver of fibrotic stroma which displayed a protein pattern different from that determined in LM-hepatocytes. In conclusion, our data demonstrate the interest of LM in distinguishing between fibrotic and hepatocyte proteome alterations and thus the benefit of LM to proteome studies of HCC developing in a context of cirrhosis.  相似文献

Correlations are very significant from the earliest days; in some cases, it is essential as it is difficult to measure the amount directly, and in other cases it is desirable to ascertain the results with other tests through correlations. Soft computing techniques are now being used as alternate statistical tool, and new techniques such as artificial neural networks, fuzzy inference systems, genetic algorithms, and their hybrids were employed for developing the predictive models to estimate the needed parameters, in the recent years. Determination of permeability coefficient (k) of soils is very important for the definition of hydraulic conductivity and is difficult, expensive, time-consuming, and involves destructive tests. In this paper, use of some soft computing techniques such as ANNs (MLP, RBF, etc.) and ANFIS (adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system) for prediction of permeability of coarse-grained soils was described and compared. As a result of this paper, it was obtained that the all constructed soft computing models exhibited high performance for predicting k. In order to predict the permeability coefficient, ANN models having three inputs, one output were applied successfully and exhibited reliable predictions. However, all four different algorithms of ANN have almost the same prediction capability, and accuracy of MLP was relatively higher than RBF models. The ANFIS model for prediction of permeability coefficient revealed the most reliable prediction when compared with the ANN models, and the use of soft computing techniques will provide new approaches and methodologies in prediction of some parameters in soil mechanics.  相似文献

Medium carbon steel (AISI 1040) was one of the candidate materials for rock bolts to reinforce the borehole liners and emplacement drifts of the high-level nuclear waste repository in Yucca Mountain. The corrosion performance of this structural steel was investigated by techniques such as linear polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and laboratory immersion tests in simulated ground waters. The corrosion rates of the steel were measured for the temperatures in the range from 25 °C to 85 °C, for the ionic concentrations of 1 time (1×), 10 times (10×), and a hundred times (100×) ground water concentration. The steel corroded uniformly at penetration rates of 35 to 200 μm/year in the deaerated waters, and at 200 to 1000 μm/year in the aerated waters. Increasing temperatures in the deaerated waters increased the corrosion rate of the steel. However, increasing ionic concentrations influenced the corrosion rate only slightly. In the aerated 1×and 10×waters, increasing temperatures increased the rates of the steel significantly. In the aerated 100×waters, the corrosion rate increased from 25 °C to 45 °C and decreased at higher temperatures (65 °C and up) due to the formation of oxide/hydroxide films and salt scales on the surface of the steel specimen. The steel suffered pitting corrosion in the both deaerated and aerated hot ground water environments after anodic polarization. Condensation of layered silicate precursors leads to new, all silica zeolite frameworks. In order to introduce catalytic functionality, boron has been substituted into the silicate layer of RUB-39 in a single step synthesis process. Condensation of the silicate layer to the zeolite framework of RUB-41, RRO framework structure type, preserved B as constituent of the material. Analysis of structural details obtained from Rietveld analysis of powder diffraction data, 11B and 29Si NMR experiments of the as synthesized precursor as well as of the zeolite condensation product, and crystal chemical reasoning indicates segregation of B on one specific T-site. This T-site is buried in the silicate anionic layer of the precursor shielding the additional negative charge introduced by the trivalent T-atom.  相似文献
