Generalized spin filters, including several directional filters such as the directional median filter and the directional binary filter, are proposed for removal of the noise of fringe patterns and the extraction of fringe skeletons with the help of fringe-orientation maps (FOM's). The generalized spin filters can filter off noise on fringe patterns and binary fringe patterns efficiently, without distortion of fringe features. A quadrantal angle filter is developed to filter off the FOM. With these new filters, the derivative-sign binary image (DSBI) method for extraction of fringe skeletons is improved considerably. Summary Catechin binds strongly to both poly(vinylpyrrolidone) and poly(L-proline) in dilute aqueous solution, inducing a collapse of the more flexible poly(vinylpyrrolidone) chains, but forming a microgel with the more extended poly(L-proline) chains. Low concentrations of poly(L-proline) inhibit the discoloration of aqueous solutions of catechin, thereby implicating the ortho hydroxyyl groups in the catechol moiety in the binding process. Modeling shows that the likely binding sites on poly(L-proline) arise from two minor local conformations. These minor conformations are less frequent in poly(-hydroxy-L-proline) than in poly(L-proline), which may explain why catechin interacts more strongly with poly(L-proline) than with poly(-hydroxy-L-proline). 相似文献

A shearing interferometer with a Kitty-type self-pumped phase-conjugate mirror is developed. The measurement of the focal length of a lens is demonstrated with a standard deviation of 1.5%. The holmium-doped calcium fluoride (Ho:CaF(2)) crystal was shown to be an effective solid-state saturable-absorber Q-switch for a flash-lamp-pumped Tm,Cr:Y(3)Al(5)O(12) laser at 2.017 μm. With a 1-cm-thick Ho(0.5%),Er(5%):CaP(2) saturable absorber and a 6.3% output coupler, a single Q-switched laser pulse of 51 mJ in energy and 60 ns in duration was obtained at a flash-lamp input energy of 85 J. Study on the solidification cracking behaviour of high strength aluminum alloy welds: Effects of alloying elements and solidification behaviours 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The solidification cracking susceptibility of the 7000 series Al-Zn-Mg high strength aluminum alloy has been studied. The cracking behaviour of the specimens were evaluated by a Tig-a-Ma-Jig Varestraint test process under various augmented strain conditions. It has been experimentally observed that the addition of copper decreased the solidification cracking resistivity of the high strength aluminum alloy weld metal by increasing the total crack length (TCL). The effect of the addition of manganese on the solidification cracking behaviour is found to be beneficial by markedly decreasing the solidification cracking susceptibility as the manganese content increases from 0.3 to 0.7%. This enhancement by manganese is understood to be attributed to the reduction of the mushy zone size during the solidification process. The effects of chromium and zirconium additions are also investigated. The weld metal containing zirconium is less sensitive to the solidification cracking than the weld metal containing chromium. In addition, the solidification behaviours of the tested alloys are also investigated and it is found that as the solidification temperature range (T) becomes narrow, the solidified structure becomes more dendritic in its features which is believed to create higher solidification cracking resistance. 相似文献

This paper analyses the design sensitivity of a suspension system with material and geometric nonlinearities for a motorcycle structure. The main procedures include nonlinear structural analysis, formulation of the problem with nonlinear dynamic response, design sensitivity analysis, and optimization. The incremental finite element method is used in structural analysis. The stiffness and damping parameters of the suspension system are considered as design variables. The maximum amplitude of nonlinear transient response at the seat is taken as the objective function during the optimization simulation. A more realistic finite element model for the motorcycle structure with elasto-damping elements of different material models is presented. Although deterministic optimization has to a considerable extent been successfully applied in various crashworthiness designs
to improve passenger safety and reduce vehicle cost, the design could become less meaningful or even unacceptable when considering
the perturbations of design variables and noises of system parameters. To overcome this drawback, we present a multiobjective
robust optimization methodology to address the effects of parametric uncertainties on multiple crashworthiness criteria, where
several different sigma criteria are adopted to measure the variations. As an example, a full front impact of vehicle is considered
with increase in energy absorption and reduction of structural weight as the design objectives, and peak deceleration as the
constraint. A multiobjective particle swarm optimization is applied to generate robust Pareto solution, which no longer requires
formulating a single cost function by using weighting factors or other means. From the example, a clear compromise between
the Pareto deterministic and robust designs can be observed. The results demonstrate the advantages of using multiobjective
robust optimization, with not only the increase in the energy absorption and decrease in structural weight from a baseline
