As a part of research work to elaborate polymeric materials for metal corrosion protection, we have developed a new family of phosphonic acid‐containing polymers. The synthesis and the characterization of polysulfones bearing alkyl phosphonate ester side groups are first described. These polymers are synthesized by direct polycondensation of a phosphonate ester‐containing bisphenol by aromatic nucleophilic substitution. The physicochemical properties of the resulting polymers are described. Acidic hydrolysis of phosphonate esters results in the formation of phosphonic acid groups. A series of phosphonic acid‐containing polysulfones is therefore obtained and characterized. A preliminary evaluation of the anticorrosive properties of these polymers is described. In 0.25M Na2SO4 solution, the corrosion rate of a polymer‐coated mild steel sample is much lower than of the free metal substrate. These results suggest that phosphonic acid‐containing polysulfones might be interesting as anticorrosive coatings. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. Sci. 2015 , 132, 41890.  相似文献

Nanostructured hexolites (40/60), (60/40), (80/20) and microstructured hexolite (60/40) powders are pressed by uniaxial compression to obtain explosive charges. This kind of composition is often used for the synthesis of detonation nanodiamonds. The morphology, density and cohesion of the resulting pellets are analyzed in the light of the different used compression parameters. This study allows optimizing the compression parameters to obtain well suited explosive charges from nanostructured explosive components. A good cohesion of the nanostructured explosive pellets could be obtained with increasing the temperature used for the compression. Another very important point is that the nanostructuring of the composites is maintained for every compression.  相似文献

Effects of 2--D-glucopyranosyloxy-4-hydroxy-7-methoxy-1,4benzoxazin-3-one (DIMBOA-Glc) and DIMBOA-Glc N-O-methylated (HDMBOA-Glc), two compounds present in high concentration in maize, were tested on the aphid Metopolophium dirhodum reared on artificial diet. HDMBOA-Glc and DIMBOA-Glc decrease survival of adults with an LD50 of 1 mM and 5.6 mM, respectively, after 72 hr of feeding. These compounds also decrease the fecundity of the aphids at concentrations of 2 mM and 1 mM, respectively. At concentrations of 2 mM HDMBOA-Glc and 8 mM DIMBOA-Glc in the diet, the average lifetime fecundity of 10 females is near zero. Offspring mortality on diet with 2 mM DIMBOA-Glc is significantly higher than with the control diet. In contrast, HDMBOA-Glc has no effect on the survival of offspring. The possibility that these compounds protect Poaceae against aphids is discussed.  相似文献

Four group A streptococcal glycolipopeptide vaccine candidates with different lipidic adjuvanting moieties were prepared and characterized. The immunogenicity of the compounds was evaluated by macrophage and dendritic cell uptake studies and by in vivo quantification of systemic IgG antibody by ELISA. The size of a silica supported metallocene/MAO (methylaluminoxane) catalyst plays an important role in determining its productivity during ethylene polymerization. From a chemical engineering point of view, this size dependency of catalytic activity of supported metallocenes is mathematically connected with the different levels of mass‐transfer resistance in big and small catalyst particles but no experimental evidence has been provided to date. The results of this systematic experimental study clearly demonstrate that the intraparticle monomer diffusion resistance is high in bigger catalyst particles during initial instants of ethylene polymerization and diminishes with the polymer particle growth. Two different silica supported metallocene/MAO catalysts provided the same results while highlighting the fact that catalyst chemistry should be carefully considered while studying complex chemical engineering problems. © 2017 American Institute of Chemical Engineers AIChE J, 63: 4476–4490, 2017  相似文献

Tetraalkyl phosphonium chloride (Cyphos IL‐101), an ionic liquid (IL), was tested for gold recovery from HCl solutions: first in liquid/liquid extraction systems (using toluene and hexane as solvent) and in a second step, after being immobilized in a biopolymer composite matrix. SEM‐EDAX analysis was used for the characterization of the resins. The sorption capacity reached up to 140 mg Au(III) g?1 in 1 M HCl solutions. Base metals that do not form anionic chlorocomplexes and nitrate or chloride ions (at 5 g L?1) did not interfere with Au(III) binding. Gold binding probably occurs through the interaction of R3R'P+ with AuCl4 ?. The kinetics of sorption was carried out varying agitation speed, metal concentration, IL content, and resin drying. Intraparticle diffusion played an important role on the control of sorption kinetics. Gold could be desorbed from the loaded IL‐impregnated resin using thiourea (in HCl solutions). The resin could be re‐used for at least 4 cycles. The resins are specially adapted for the recovery of gold from low metal concentrations.  相似文献

Abstract

So far, little attention has been given to the effect of the street cleaning waters (SCW) load on the sewer systems during dry-weather periods. However, the knowledge of this pollution is needed to better understand the contribution of SCW to dry weather flow (DWF) pollution within combined sewers. Therefore, hydrocarbon loads conveyed by SCW were analyzed for two different sites of the Paris agglomeration. Median n-alkane, Unresolved Complex Mixture (UCM) and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon (PAH) concentrations have been estimated at 19, 628 and 1.4 μ g · l? 1for the Marais catchment (or 4th district), and at 8, 249, and 2.1 μ g · l? 1for the 13th district, respectively. The observed contamination was mainly attributed to road traffic. Moreover, a comparison between SCW and street runoff showed that street cleaning removes a higher PAH stock than street runoff. In addition, SCW hydrocarbon fluxes evaluated at 5.4, 178 and 0.4 g · d? 1for n-alkanes, UCM and PAH, respectively, were compared to the hydrocarbon fluxes of the DWF pollutant load at the combined sewer outlet of the Marais catchment. Hydrocarbon loads conveyed by SCW into Paris combined sewers appeared to be a minor source of DWF pollution for n-alkane and UCM, but represented a significant source for PAHs.  相似文献

Despite the fact that the very early stages (several tens of seconds) of catalysed olefin polymerisation processes appear negligibly short with respect to the residence time of most industrial reactors, they are critical in terms of catalyst activation, obtaining good particle morphology, and avoiding irreparable problems caused by particle overheating. The different types of reactors that have been used over the course of the past few years are discussed in this feature article. It is shown that despite the difficulties encountered in finding the perfect experimental tool for this purpose, different configurations of stopped flow reactors can be used successfully to explore different aspects of what happens to the catalyst (supported and molecular) during these critical moments of polymerisation. © 2012 Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering  相似文献

Thioredoxin reductase (TrxR) is overexpressed in cancer cells and is therefore a putative cancer target. Inhibition of this enzyme is considered an important strategy for the development of new chemotherapeutic agents with a specific mechanism of action. Organotin compounds have been described as experimental antitumor agents, yet their mechanism of action remains largely unknown. Based on the outcome of a virtual screening study, various di‐ and tri‐n‐butyltin(IV) carboxylates were synthesized, and their biological properties were evaluated. All synthesized compounds were able to inhibit TrxR selectively within the micromolar range and showed potent antitumor activity against HT‐29 and MCF‐7 cancer cell lines. Moreover, tin(IV) organometallics were found to strongly induce apoptosis in the BJAB lymphoma cell line. Mass spectrometry and atomic absorption spectroscopy experiments revealed metal binding to proteins, and efficient cellular uptake was observed using a di‐n‐butyltin(IV) complex as an example.  相似文献
