Structural and economical merits of a spherical silicon solar cell with semi-concentration reflector system have been discussed. The roles of the reflector system have been clarified; the reflector improves short-circuit current density and also open-circuit voltage by 4–6 times concentration to make a light irradiation area comparable to a p–n junction area. We have theoretically demonstrated that the spherical Si solar cell with semi-concentration reflector system can realize a performance comparable to that of conventional Si solar cells, with less amount of silicon material use.  相似文献

Classification of benign/malignant microcalcification clusters is a major diagnostic challenge for radiologists. Clinical studies have revealed that the shape of the cluster, and the spatial distribution of individual microcalcifications within it, are important indicators of its malignancy. However, mammographic images of clustered microcalcifications confound their three-dimensional (3-D) distribution with image projection and breast compression. This paper presents a novel model-based method for reconstructing microcalcification clusters in 3-D from two mammographic views (cranio-caudal and medio-lateral oblique--"shoulder to the opposite hip" or lateral-medio). We develop a 3-D breast representation and a parameterised breast compression model which constraints geometrically the possible 3-D positions of a calcification in a two-dimensional image. Corresponding calcifications in the two views are matched using an estimate of the calcification volume. Both the geometric constraint and the matching criterion are utilized in the final reconstruction step to build the 3-D reconstructed clusters. Validation experiments are described using 30 clusters to verify the individual steps of the model, and results consistent with known ground truth are obtained. Some of the approximations in the model and future work are discussed in the concluding section.  相似文献

A bare LSI chip mounted onto a flexible substrate is called chip-on-flex (COF). Companies and universities are desperately developing COF. In this paper, the development of COF using stud bump bonding (SBB) flip-chip technology will be introduced.So far, SBB technology has been adopted when ceramic or glass-epoxy is used as a substrate material for chip size packages (CSPs) and multi-chip modules (MCMs). Recently there is a great demand for developing SBB technology toward a flexible substrate.SBB technology needs to keep a flexible substrate flat during the assembly process. A flexible substrate was adhered to a flat carrier using a thermal release sheet in order to keep it flat. Since this thermal release sheet loses its adhesive strength by applying heat beyond 160°C, it is easy to peel off accomplished specimens from the flat carrier after assembling.SBB specimens were prepared using liquid crystal polymer (LCP) and polyimide (PI) as a flexible substrate. Reliability tests, such as pressure cooker test (PCT), thermal shock test (TST) and reflow soldering after moisture storage test, were carried out for these specimens. In PCT, both LCP and PI specimens passed as a result of using proper underfill for each substrate. In TST, both specimens also passed using the underfill selected in PCT. In reflow soldering after moisture storage test, LCP specimens passed, on the other hand PI specimens needed to be baked after moisture storage in order to pass the reflow.  相似文献

This paper presents systematic investigations of electrical and stability properties of various low temperature co-fired ceramics (LTCC) resistors. One of the goals of this work was to check the compatibility of LTCC materials (tapes, resistive and conductive inks) from various manufacturers. Three commercially available green tapes and three LTCC resistor/conductor systems were examined. The resistive inks with 1 kΩ/sq. nominal sheet resistance were used. Buried (inside) and surface resistors were laminated and fired according to the tape manufacturers’ recommendations. The influence of dimensional effect on sheet resistance and hot temperature coefficient of resistance, the temperature dependence of resistance in a wide temperature range (from −180°C to +130°C), long-term stability of thermally aged as-fired resistors (150°C, 500 h) and durability to high-voltage micro- or nanosecond pulses (50 ns pulses with 4000 V/mm maximum electric field or 10 μs ones with 700–1000 V/mm electrical field) were carried out for electrical and stability characterisation of LTCC resistors. Non-destructive scanning acoustic microscope diagnostics was applied for structure investigation and estimation of lamination and cofiring process quality of buried LTCC resistors.  相似文献

C60 and picene thin film field-effect transistors (FETs) in bottom contact structure have been fabricated with poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) electrodes for a realization of mechanical flexible organic FETs. The C60 thin film FETs showed n-channel enhancement-type characteristics with the field-effect mobility μ value of 0.41 cm2 V?1 s?1, while the picene thin film FET showed p-channel enhancement-type characteristics with the μ of 0.61 cm2 V?1 s?1. The μ values recorded for C60 and picene thin film FETs are comparable to those for C60 and picene thin film FETs with Au electrodes.  相似文献

Direct imaging of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) suspended on pillar-patterned Si or SiO2 substrates is investigated using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The suspended nanotubes are successfully observed by direct TEM imaging and it is seen that they have either individual or bundles of SWNTs. Low energy (< or =2 keV) SEM produces high contrast images of suspended SWNTs. On the contrary, when SWNTs contact a SiO2 substrate, they are imaged using electron-beam induced current. The image brightness depends on the length of SWNTs.  相似文献

The degradation behavior of implants is significantly important for bone repair. However, it is still unprocurable to spatiotemporally regulate the degradation of the implants to match bone ingrowth. In this paper, a magneto-controlled biodegradation model is established to explore the degradation behavior of magnetic scaffolds in a magnetothermal microenvironment generated by an alternating magnetic field (AMF). The results demonstrate that the scaffolds can be heated by magnetic nanoparticles (NPs) under AMF, which dramatically accelerated scaffold degradation. Especially, magnetic NPs modified by oleic acid with a better interface compatibility exhibit a greater heating efficiency to further facilitate the degradation. Furthermore, the molecular dynamics simulations reveal that the enhanced motion correlation between magnetic NPs and polymer matrix can accelerate the energy transfer. As a proof-of-concept, the feasibility of magneto-controlled degradation for implants is demonstrated, and an optimizing strategy for better heating efficiency of nanomaterials is provided, which may have great instructive significance for clinical medicine.  相似文献
