Three-dimensional porous composite framework assembled withCuO microspheres as anode current collector for lithium-ionbatteries

The surface structure and material composition of current collectors have significant effects on the electrochemical performances of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs). In this work, a three-dimensional(3D) porous composite framework is applied as the anode current collector in LIBs. This unique 3D skeleton is composed of conductive carbon fiber/Cu core/shell fibrous structure. With an oxidation treatment upon the copper shell, the porous framework is assembled with CuO microspheres. Using mesocarbon microbead(MCMB) graphite powders as the active material, the cell with this 3D porous composite current collector shows an improved reversible discharge-charge capacity of 415 mAh g~(–1) at a current rate of 0.1 C after 50 cycles, which is much higher than that of the cell with a flat Cu foil(127 mAh g~(–1)). It is demonstrated that this unique fibrous network of the 3D current collector coupled with the morphological effects of the CuO microspheres greatly improve the cell performance in terms of electrical conductivity, reversible capacity and cycling stability.     

An optimal feedrate model and solution algorithm for a high-speed machine of small line blocks with look-ahead

In complex high-speed machining of consecutive small line blocks, the tool path segments can be so short that a machining center moving at a high feedrate cannot accelerate or decelerate fast enough to make direction changes accurately. Aiming at adjusting the feedrate automatically to achieve maximum productivity, this paper present a novel mathematical model considering the key and representative factors, and then based on it, propose an algorithm to seek the approximate optimal feedrate by evaluating the toolpath ahead. Simulation results demonstrate the machine using the proposed model and algorithm can go fast where possible and to slow down just enough where needed and the productivity can be improved dramatically.     

轴向均布荷载压杆稳定问题的重心插值配点法

用重心插值配点法对轴向均布荷载下压杆稳定问题进行了研究。采用重心Lagrange插值多项式建立未知函数的微分矩阵,采用配点法将压杆稳定问题的控制方程表示为代数方程组。通过求解代数方程组系数矩阵的特征值和特征向量,得到了精度很高的后屈曲挠度数值和临界载荷数值。实例证明,这种方法原理简单,易于程序实现。

Study on the Grain Refinement of an Al-Zn-Mg-Cu Alloy Prepared by LFEC Process

Low frequency electromagnetic casting(LFEC)process has been developed for years with the application of an induction coil outside the conventional direct chill(DC)casting mould.It has been demonstrated that the LFEC process has a significant grain refining effect on aluminium alloys.However,how it refines the microstructure is still not clearly understood.In the present work,the temperature measurement were carried out to study the temperature field during casting and to understand the mechanism of the grain refining effect of the LFEC process.The results showed that in contrast to the conventional DC casting process,during the LFEC process,the liquid melt flowing from the launder into the mould is cooled with very high cooling rate directly to 3-6℃below the liquidus and the temperature field of the entire melt in the mould and the hot top is quite uniform,which results in enhanced heterogeneous nucleation and improved survival rate of the nuclei.This is believed to be the main reason why the LFEC process can significantly refine the grain size of aluminium alloys.

在单试样卸载柔度法及单试样三曲线法基础上,提出了一种更简便的测定金属材料ＪＲ曲线及其条件起裂值的单试样三点预先度法,并用该方法测定了１Ｃｒ１／２Ｍｏ钢、１６ＭｎＲ风和ＷＣＦ６２钢的ＪＲ曲线及其条件起裂值,与标准的多试样法相比,误差均在工程许可范围内。
