TiB2 Powders Synthesis by Borothermal Reduction in TiO2 Under Vacuum

TiB₂ powders were synthesized by borothermal reduction in nanoscale TiO₂ with boron under vacuum. Reaction processes were investigated, and the effect of by‐product B₂O₃ was evaluated. Results showed that TiO₂ was firstly reduced by boron to form TiBO₃ and Ti₂O₃, and then to produce TiB₂ and B₂O₃ with increasing temperature. The reaction processes of TiB₂ powders synthesis included two‐step reduction in TiO₂ by boron and the removal of B₂O₃. The presence of B₂O₃, which was previously reported as the most important factor in promoting the coarsening of ZrB₂ and HfB₂ powders by borothermal reduction, did not lead to significant coarsening of TiB₂ powders. Due to the minor effect of B₂O₃, TiB₂ powders with small particle size and low oxygen content could be prepared by direct heat treatment of TiO₂ and boron at 1550°C under vacuum for 1 h. The particle size and oxygen content of synthesized TiB₂ powders were ~0.9 μm and ~1.7 wt%, respectively.     

Efficient Catalyst for Both Suzuki and Heck Cross‐Coupling Reactions: Synthesis and Catalytic Behaviour of Geometry‐ Constrained Iminopyridylpalladium Chlorides

A series of geometry‐constrained iminopyridyl‐palladium chlorides were synthesized and characterized. These phosphine‐free palladium complexes were explored for their catalytic activities in both Suzuki and Heck cross‐coupling reactions, achieving turnover numbers as high as 10⁶ towards various aryl bromides, even those containing various functionalities. In addition, the influence of substituents with steric and electronic factors was reflected by the differences observed in their activities.

     

Enantioselective One‐Pot Reaction: Organocatalyzed Synthesis of Fully Functionalized Oxabicyclo[2.2.2]octanes with Seven Contiguous Stereocenters

An enantioselective one‐pot Michael/Michael/Henry/hemiacetalization reaction between α,β‐unsaturated aldehydes, α‐ketoamides, and nitroalkenes under mild conditions catalyzed by a diarylprolinol silyl ether has been developed. The sequential methodology provides a direct approach to a wide range of fully substituted chiral oxabicyclo[2.2.2]octanes with seven contiguous stereocenters in moderate to excellent yields (up to 99%), high to excellent diastereoselectivities (up to >25:1 dr), and high to excellent enantioselectivities (up to 99% ee).

     

镀铜钢纤维表面改性及其耐腐蚀性能和黏结性能

为了改善镀铜钢纤维与水泥基体的黏结强度,用γ-甲基丙烯酰氧基丙基三甲氧基硅烷(MPS)和γ-巯基丙基三甲氧基硅烷(MPTS)对镀铜钢纤维进行表面处理.采用红外光谱、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、氯化钠溶液浸泡腐蚀试验和黏结强度测试来评价处理后镀铜钢纤维的性能.结果表明:MPTS与镀铜钢纤维表面发生了化学键合,提升了钢纤维表面粗糙度;经过MPS处理和MPTS/MPS组合处理的钢纤维腐蚀溶液的吸光度积分只有未处理组的91%和45%;经过MPS处理和MPTS/MPS组合处理的钢纤维从水泥基体中拔出时所做的功相对于未改性组分别提升了43%和224%,与水泥基体的黏结强度得到了相应提高.

超分子化合物(C12N2H9)2(C12N2H8)[SW12O40]的合成与结构表征

利用水热法合成了超分子化合物（C12N2H9）2（C12N2H8）[SW12O40],通过元素分析和X射线单晶衍射确定了其晶体结构,该晶体为正交晶系,P2（1）2（1）2（1）空间群,晶胞参数为a=12．0168（3）A^。,b=21．0534（6）A^。,c=22．5820（6）A^。,V=5713．1（3）A^。^3,α=β=γ=90°,Z=4,Dc=3．977mg·m^-3,并通过IR和XRD进行了结构表征,采用热重分析研究了晶体的热稳定性。该化合物由邻菲罗林和Keggin结构[SW12O40]^2-阴离子组成,以氢键自组装成超分子结构化合物。
