This paper describes the application of adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) model for automatic detection of electroencephalographic changes. Decision making was performed in two stages: feature extraction by computation of Lyapunov exponents and classification by the ANFIS trained with the backpropagation gradient descent method in combination with the least squares method. Five types of electroencephalogram (EEG) signals were classified by five ANFIS classifiers. To improve diagnostic accuracy, the sixth ANFIS classifier (combining ANFIS) was trained using the outputs of the five ANFIS classifiers as input data. The proposed ANFIS model combined the neural network adaptive capabilities and the fuzzy logic qualitative approach. Some conclusions concerning the saliency of features on classification of the EEG signals were obtained through analysis of the ANFIS. The performance of the ANFIS model was evaluated in terms of training performance and classification accuracies and the results confirmed that the proposed ANFIS model has potential in classifying the EEG signals.  相似文献

In this study, a non-aqueous method in a simple one pot reaction process was employed to synthesize nano-sized BaTiO3 particles and then electrophoretic deposition technique was employed for thin film coatings. In the first step of the preparation, metallic barium is directly dissolved in benzyl alcohol at slightly elevated temperatures. Then titanium isopropoxide was added following by a solvothermal treatment. At the end of the reaction, nearly spherical BaTiO3 nanoparticles were obtained typically 5 nm in diameter. After establishing the stability of the BaTiO3 suspension in ethanol, electrophoretic deposition process was performed without any additional operation. Alumina with platinum plating was used as substrate. To achieve the optimal process parameters, various voltages were applied by altering the cathode to anode distance as well as deposition time. High voltages application was possible without causing hydrolysis, because of the non-aqueous ethanol medium with higher surface charge of the nanoparticles. The deposited surface coatings were dried in air and sintered at various temperatures. SEM, EDX and XRD analysis were employed for the investigation of the coating.  相似文献

Buckling dynamics of a pinned-pinned flexible imperfect beam attached to a sliding mass is investigated using nonlinear Elastica theory. Initially straight flexible buckling beam having pinned end boundary conditions loaded at one of its end with curved imperfection is considered. Large deflection analysis of flexible beam is studied using nonlinear Elastica theory. Imperfection analysis of the flexible beam is investigated considering the imperfection as an initial curvature. The governing differential equations are expressed in terms of nonlinear functions that are typical of flexible beams, generally leading to highly implicit relationships involving elliptic integrals and functions. Dynamic simulation of the flexible beam is studied using numerical simulation procedures with various types of loading (step, ramp, and sinusoidal) assuming this member buckles in its first mode. Dynamic response of the imperfect buckling Elastica has been obtained by using numerical Runge-Kutta methods. Load deflection characteristics of flexible beams are presented in polynomial curve fits. The polynomial curve fits obtained from nonlinear inextensible exact beam theory may then be used as the nonlinear lumped system stiffness. The buckling Elastica may find applications in compliant mechanism design. The motivation behind this research is not only to present the dynamic behavior of the buckling beam considering the magnitude of the imperfection but also to provide a tool to design new types of compliant mechanisms. Original compliant mechanism designs are presented demonstrating where the buckling dynamics of imperfect Elastica or flexible curved beams might be needed in mechanism design and synthesis.  相似文献

In this study, the rheologic and colloidal characterizations of sodium montmorillonite (NaMMT) were examined. Hexadecylamine (CH3(CH2)15NH2, HDA) was added to the bentonite water dispersion (2%, w/w) in different concentrations in the range 5.6 × 10−4−9.4 × 10−3 mmol/l. The rheological and electrokinetic behaviour of aqueous montmorillonite dispersions was investigated as a function of solid content and HDA concentration. The basal spacings of the HDA/NaMMT composites were studied by X-ray diffraction. The FTIR spectra were obtained from the modified bentonite products, which revealed the characteristic absorbances after treatment with HDA.  相似文献

This study presents the possibility of the power flattening in the ARIES-RS breeder reactor using mixed (Th,U)C or (Th,U)N fuels. Two different types of mixing, namely, homogeneous mixing (HM) and linear mixing (LM) were used to investigate the uniformity of fission power distribution through the fuel zone. In HM, fraction of uranium content were kept constant in all rows of the fuel zone whereas, in LM the fraction of the uranium were linearly increased from the first to last fuel row in the fuel zone. Neutron transport calculations were performed with the aid of the SCALE4.3 system by solving the Boltzmann transport equation with the XSDRNPM code in 238 neutron groups and a S8–P3 approximation. Flat fission power distribution was maintained successfully for the blanket using linearly mixed fuels. However, the fission density profile was not uniform in the blanket with homogeneously mixed fuels. It decreased exponentially form the 1st to 10th fuel row.  相似文献

The aim of this study is to examine the dye biosorption properties of lichen species called Cladonia convoluta and Evernia prunastri. Since lichens are extensively found in the environment, their suitability as a cheap adsorbent has been investigated in this study. The optimal parameters for textile dye biosorption were also determined. The dried lichen biomass showed better dye biosorption capacity than ash lichen biomass. C. convoluta had better dye biosorption capacity than E. prunastri. Dye biosorption rate was found as 71.41% at optimal conditions. This study concluded that C. convoluta was a successful and cheap biosorbent for treatment of water contaminated by Acid Red P-2BX dye.  相似文献

Individualistic nature of research in the humanities is a common fact, as well as the notion that boundaries in humanities are poorly defined. Using citation analysis we have to take into account differences in citation practices not only between humanities and sciences but also within narrower fields of humanities. In the current study we observe differences between publication behaviour of historians and archaeologists, examine some aspects of citation practices in those fields, and show their effect on visibility.  相似文献

Kosonbrock's inverse Nyquist array (I.N.A.) theory for linear multivariable control Bystema with constant feedback elements is extended, to include systems lip to m nonlinear feedback elements, where the system has m inputs and m outputs. This extension is achieved by considering the Popov criterion for the most general case and through two further theorems. It shows that, as in the ease of Rosenbrock's I.N.A. theory, when certain auxiliary conditions are met with the help of suitable controllers, the design of multivariable controllers containing many non-linear feedbacks, can be based on the m frequency response loci corresponding to the diagonal entries of the open-loop inverse transfer function matrix. This leads to a simple design technique identical to the I.N.A. design method, suitable for use with a computer-aided design facility which permits a designer to use his intuitive understanding of transfer functions based on classical theory. The I.N.A. theory has been extended by Rosenbrock to cover systems having non-linear, time-varying feedback elements very recently.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

To avoid particle contamination in clean process production, unidirectional air flow with HEPA-filtered air is used, either in the entire room or partly in the critical process region (clean air zones), the purpose of this presentation is to describe a number of observations in unidirectional air flow and to discuss the interaction between air movements and the dispersion of airborne contaminants, it has been shown, by using smoke photography technique, that wake regions and vortex streets can easily be formed behind the working operator and objects. If a contaminant is emitted in the region of a vortex an accumulation can occur. It is important for the user to investigate that such vortices do not occur in the clean working zone.  相似文献
