我国出台十大措施加速国企改革央企将减至百户

从国务院国资委获悉，《关于推进国有资本调整和国有企业重组的指导意见》出台十项措施促进国企改革重组，并明确到2010年中央企业调整重组至80到100户。     

OTHER SIGHTS: Reflections on the Movement

These days—when tourists run from one memorial to the next, checking them off a sightseeing list, displaying appropriate grief—one has to ask: What is the purpose of the memorial? What is its effect when the historical events it memorializes lie beyond personal memory? Does the memorial serve to make history present and alive or does it seal off the past? What if "history" is still the present? How can we make the experience of reviewing history fresh and powerful both intellectually and emotionally, and in a way that might have lasting effect? How can we turn the viewer into a participant and—the ultimate ambition of memorializing projects—effect change within that person? OTHER SIGHTS began as a conversation between myself and Karen Bermann, my faculty adviser, on these issues.     

Interaction of Myosin-Albumin and Myosin-Fibrinogen to Form Protein Gels

Myosin, fibrinogen, albumin, myosin-fibrinogen and myosin-albumin gels were formed by heating in pH 6.0 phosphate buffer at two heating rates. Gel strength was measured with an annular pump and soluble protein was determined. Myosin and fibrinogen interacted to form a gel which was stronger than the sum of the gel strengths for the two individual proteins. The strength of myosin-fibrinogen gels formed at 50°C was not affected by heating method; however, the strength of gels developed between 55°C and 70°C was related to heating method. Myosin and albumin did not interact to form a gel matrix until 80°C where sufficient thermal alteration of albumin had occurred.     

Localization using nonindividualized head-related transfer functions

The HPV proteins encoded by the early viral genes, including E6 and E7, are thought to subvert the normal regulatory pathways of infected cells to accommodate viral replication. Mechanistically some of this is accomplished by protein-protein interactions between viral proteins and a number of key cellular regulatory proteins that include tumor suppressor gene products. By undermining cellular regulatory pathways the HPV oncogenes cause hyperproliferation and the perturbation of normal cellular differentiation pathways. Although expression of the high-risk HPV-encoded E6 and E7 oncoproteins may be important prerequisites for cellular transformation, it is very likely that additional cellular changes are necessary for carcinogenic progression. The elucidation of the role of the early HPV genes in the initiation and/or maintenance of carcinogenic progression will continue to be a fascinating area of investigation and may reveal new opportunities for antiviral therapy and antitumor intervention.
