In this study, the dynamic-mechanical properties of fumed silica and silane-treated reinforced epoxy nano-composites were examined; silane-treated specimens demonstrated greater glass transition temperature, modulus, and less moisture absorption. An epoxy composite has been studied under hydrothermal ageing in order to investigate the effect of treatment on dynamical mechanical thermal analysis. The nanocomposites were kept in seawater up to 600 h. The process was then modeled using response surface methodology based on central composite design (CCD). Three models were developed to predict the influence of wet aging parameters on the Tg, modulus, and damping. Accuracy of predicted results was analyzed by the analysis of variance method. The optimum values predicted by the RSM and CCD were 1 % wt treated fumed silica followed by aging at 60 °C. Multiple correlation coefficients (R 2) of 0.96 were obtained from the regression models for Tg, confirming the good accuracy of developed models.  相似文献

LaFe1-x-yCo_xPd_yO_3 [(x, y) =(0, 0),(0.40, 0),(0.38, 0.05)] nanoparticles were synthesized via a co-precipitation route using ammonium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide and ammonium carbonate as the precipitant and calcination at different temperatures to study the compositional driven structural changes in lanthanum ferrites.Analysis of X-ray diffraction(XRD) patterns confirms the formation of single-phase perovskite structure and existence of orthorhombic Pnma symmetry for calcined powders. Field emission scanning electron microscope(FESEM) observations show that Pd-doped powders yield finer particles along with narrower particle size distribution compared with LaFeO_3 and LaFe0.6Co0.4O_3. Moreover,using ammonia as the precipitant leads to a smaller mean particle size of powders compared to NaOH, as well as significant difference in morphology of the particles.Raman analysis reveals that both Co and Pd atoms substitute Fe site in perovskite structure with shifting of phonon modes. Comparing Raman spectra demonstrates the presence of more oxygen vacancies in Pd-doped perovskites. It can be concluded from the results that Pd is successfully incorporated into the perovskite structure by co-precipitation method.  相似文献

This article presents an approach to delivering qualitative end-to-end quality of service (QoS) guarantees across the multiprovider Internet. We propose that bilateral agreements between a number of autonomous systems (ASs) result in the establishment of QoS-class planes that potentially extend across the global Internet. The deployment of a QoS-enhanced border gateway protocol (BGP) with different QoS-based route selection policies in each of the planes allows a range of interdomain QoS capabilities to coexist on the same network infrastructure. Metallic hollow spheres (MHSs) are developed to be used in structural applications in syntactic and metal foams. These foams are lightweight and energy-absorbing structures which also can be used for acoustic insulation. In this study, the fabrication process of MHSs with optimum mechanical properties has been investigated. To achieve this goal, polystyrene spheres were coated with iron powder and an organic binder. During the multi-stage heat treatment, the green spheres were sintered into MHSs. Sintering was done at various temperatures (1125, 1150, 1175 and 1200°C) at different durations (3:30, 4:30 and 5:30?h). The influence of the different sintering durations and temperatures on mechanical features, microstructure and density was studied as well. The obtained results indicate that samples that were sintered at the temperature of 1175°C for 4:30?h resulted in superior mechanical and physical properties.  相似文献

Water salinity is one of the main restrictive factors in water exploiting. Also, unsuitable management and exploitation of water resources has led to an increase of surface and groundwater salinity. Thus, in view of human needs to water resources, it is necessary to study and define water salinity factors in order to weaken these factors. This research has been conducted to investigate the factors of groundwater salinity and also, to provide a model for estimating groundwater salinity on the Caspian southern coasts. Data included in the model are: water qualitative examinations in the area, annual precipitation and evaporation, water table depth, surface water salinity, aquifer formation (Transmissivity) and distance from Caspian Sea. Surface and groundwater salinity was estimated by sampling in different sites on the Caspian southern coasts. Then, Multivariate Regression method was used by using SPSS software. In this stage, groundwater EC has been used as a variable for water salinity or dependent variable and groundwater salinity factors have been used as independent variables. A linear model and a non-linear model were presented. The models efficiency was evaluated by applying them in the sites that their data were not used for presenting the models. Finally, groundwater EC average map was provided by using the presented non-linear model and Geographic Information System in the Eastern part of Mazandaran province. In view of salinity hazard increases in the coastal terrains and agricultural areas, the places with high hazard salinity must be defined and managed to decrease water resources salinity.  相似文献

Geometry of end of the fibre transport channel (EFTC) at the entry to the rotor housing of rotor spinning system has an important effect on yarn properties. In this paper, effect of design of fibre exit edge (FEE) of the transport channel on yarn properties in a slotted model similar to R20 of Rieter was studied. Nine designs of FEE were examined for fibre path and the best one was selected for yarn production. Dimension and positioning of FEE were varied and yarn tensile properties, evenness, imperfections and extent were tested. It was concluded from the test results that the new design improves most of the yarn properties and is superior to the original design.  相似文献

The water gas shift reaction was evaluated in the presence of novel carbon dioxide (CO2) capture sorbents, both alone and with catalyst, at moderate reaction conditions (i.e., 300-600 °C and 1-11.2 atm). Experimental results showed significant improvements to carbon monoxide (CO) conversions and production of hydrogen (H2) when CO2 sorbents are incorporated into the water gas shift reaction. Results suggested that the performance of the sorbent is linked to the presence of a Ca(OH)2 phase within the sorbent. Promoting calcium oxide (CaO) sorbents with sodium hydroxide (NaOH) as well as pre-treating the CaO sorbent with steam appeared to lead to formation of Ca(OH)2, which improved CO2 sorption capacity and WGS performance. Results suggest that an optimum amount of NaOH exists as too much leads to a lower capture capacity of the resultant sorbent. During capture, the NaOH-promoted sorbents displayed a high capture efficiency (nearly 100%) at temperatures of 300-600 °C. Results also suggest that the CaO sorbents possess catalytic properties which may augment the WGS reactivity even post-breakthrough. Furthermore, promotion of CaO by NaOH significantly reduces the regeneration temperature of the former.  相似文献
