A quantification system for lysophospholipids (lysoPL) was developed, especially for blood samples, using liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS). However, the lysoPL measurement in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) has not been validated. Therefore, the present study aimed to validate the lysoPL measurement using CSF samples and to elucidate the possible clinical significance of the lysoPL measurement in CSF. For the validation, we observed a good precision and linearity in a sample with high lysoPL levels. The concentrations of lysoPL changed after incubation but the changes were smaller than those observed for serum samples. Moreover, we observed that the CSF levels of 16:0, 18:0 lysophosphatidylcholine, and 18:0, 18:1, and 20:4 lysophosphatidic acid were significantly higher in subjects with central nervous system invasion caused by hematological malignancies or carcinoma than in subjects with no abnormal CSF test results. In conclusion, an LC–MS/MS quantification system for lysoPL in CSF might be useful and could be applied to clinical laboratory testing. 相似文献

SiC-fiber–reinforced binary Si eutectic alloy composites have been developed for aerospace applications using the melt infiltration method. In this study, the oxidation mechanisms of various binary Si eutectic alloys were evaluated at elevated temperatures. We suggest that the oxidation resistance of eutectic alloys could be predicted using the Gibbs energy change for the oxidation reaction. Based on these calculations, eutectic alloys of Si-16at%Ti, Si-17at%Cr, Si-22at%Co, Si-38at%Co, and Si-27at%Fe were prepared. These alloys produced uniform SiO2 layers and showed the same oxidation resistance as Si at 1000°C under humid conditions. Therefore, SiC composites using Si alloys with excellent oxidation resistance can be predicted using thermodynamic calculations. 相似文献

Three soluble hyperbranched polyazomethines containing oligosiloxane end group HBP-PAZ-SiOn were successfully synthesized. HBP-PAZ-SiOns were used as modifiers of ethyl cellulose (EC) and polysulfone (PS) membranes. Blend membranes, HBP-PAZ-SiOn/EC and HBP-PAZ-SiOn/PS were prepared by blending the THF solution of HBP-PAZ-SiOn with ethanol solution of EC and dichloromethane solution of PS, respectively. Surprisingly, the permeabilities for CO2 of the blend membranes were more than 15–16 times higher than those of pure EC and PS membranes without any drop of pemselectivity to N2. This unusual improvement has been achieved by both enhancement of diffusivity for carbon dioxide and nitrogen by the oligosiloxane groups and enhancement of affinity of the amino groups with carbon dioxide at the end groups of HBP-PAZ-SiOn. 相似文献

This paper describes a newly developed logic circuit family based on dual-rail bit lines and sense amplifiers that is used extensively in a 1.0-GHz, single-issue, 64-bit PowerPC integer processor, gigahertz unit test site (guTS). The family consists of an incrementor, a count-leading-zero, a rotator, and a read-only memory. Each macro consists of a leaf-cell array, dual-rail bit lines, a row of sense amplifiers, a control block, and peripheral circuits. A common read-out scheme sensing the differential voltage of dual-rail bit lines is used. The hardware was fabricated in a 0.25-μm drawn channel length, six-metal-layer (Al) CMOS technology (1.8-V nominal VDD). Wafer testing was performed using a probe card. The macros were tested cycle by cycle by scanning the input data to the read/write address latches and data latches, and scanning the result out from the output receiving latches. The production of dye-decolorizing peroxidase (DyP) was investigated by cultivating Geotrichum candidum Dec1 using molasses as a carbon source. Molasses at concentrations greater than 10 g·l−1 was found to increase the decolorization activity of the culture broth toward dye, reactive blue 5 mainly because the amount of enzyme produced was enhanced. However, complete inhibition of DyP activity by molasses was observed at the concentration of 20 g·l−1, indicating that the inhibitory effect of molasses on the culture broth activity to decolorize the dye was involved. When the culture broth was diluted 25 times, the dye-decolorizing activity was 7 times as much as that of non-diluted culture broth. The molasses fractions separated by gel chromatography (300–400 ml and 400–500 ml fractions) completely inhibited the purified DyP. On the basis of these results, we propose a scheme to control both positive and negative effects of molasses on the dye decolorization process. 相似文献

The gas absorption and crystallization behaviour of melt-quenched amorphous Zr37Ni63 and Zr67Ni33 alloys in H2, CO, O2, N2 and argon atmospheres were investigated. Unexpectedly, the nickel-rich amorphous alloy was more reactive than the zirconium-rich one. Thus, a-Zr37Ni63 can absorb hydrogen, form the metastable tetragonal ZrO2 by oxidation and decompose into the non-equilibrium nickel, ZrC, ZrO2(T) and ZrO2(M) phases in CO atmosphere below its crystallization temperature. However, neither absorption of N2 nor formation of ZrN was detected. On the contrary, the a-Zr67N33 alloy hardly reacts with gases below its crystallization temperature. We have measured both secondary neutral and ionized particles from an InSb target under 3.0 MeV Si ion bombardment. Measurements of both ions and neutrals have not been carried out so far in the MeV-energy range. The mass spectra and axial emission energy distributions of secondary particles were investigated. Secondary ions were measured with a linear- and a reflective-type time-of-flight technique, whereas secondary neutral particles were photo-ionized by a UV pulsed laser (ArF: 193 nm) and measured with a reflective-type time-of-flight technique. Different results were obtained for neutral particles in comparison with ionized particles. The mean energy of neutral Sb atoms was much lower than that of neutral In atoms, whereas the mean energies of secondary In and Sb ions were nearly equal. 相似文献

Biological and chemical sensor with a rapid response in microlevel test is required for health and environmental monitor. A novel sensing due to porous ion exchanger with three-dimensional acceptor has been first attempted to develop a high-performance sensor. This porous monolith type ion exchanger has an open-cellular monolith structure with 5–50-μm diameter pores. The trace amount of inorganic ions dissolved in aqueous solutions can be quantitatively determined with the impedance given by the monolith, which attracts and adsorbs the ions rapidly. We have succeeded in detecting ions with a concentration as low as 10−7 mol. The porous ion exchanger has a potentiality as a high-performance device for biological and chemical sensing. POLYM. ENG.
