Gearbox power transmissions are widely used in the automotive industry. They have a complex vibro-acoustic behaviour that is influenced by the various acoustic–structural interaction mechanisms. This paper concentrates on modelling these systems using a three-dimensional finite-element (FE) approach for the structure combined with a Rayleigh integral (RI) method for the acoustic radiation process. A modal analysis method is used to evaluate the elasto-acoustic modal characteristics for the coupled system. Effect of the fluid inside the gearbox on the vibration response is discussed. The combined use of this FE/RI model enables evaluation of the acoustic response. A case study of a simplified gearbox internally excited with gear mesh stiffness fluctuation is presented. Vibratory analysis allows concluding that the vibro-acoustic coupling between elastic housing, air-cavity and free acoustic field have not to be neglected.  相似文献

A 10-point simplex lattice design was used to investigate the effect of varying the ratios of whey powder, ι-carrageenan, and fat, and their interactions on instrumental texture and sensory properties of mechanically separated turkey meat sausages. Regression models have been developed and contour plots were drawn in order to better understand the global tendency of measured responses. Whey powder had a more notable influence than that of ι-carrageenan on all textural parameters as whey powder proportion increased. At a higher proportion (8 g/100 g sausage), whey powder improved essentially hardness, gel stress, and chewiness of extra low-fat sausage (formulation 3, 4.2 ± 0.3 g of fat/100 g sausage). Environmental scanning electron microscopy of the corresponding sausage showed a compact microstructure characterized by large network connections. Sensory evaluation also indicated that whey powder increased the flavor, the firmness, and the sliceability scores of mechanically separated turkey meat sausage, in comparison to the high-fat standard sausage (formulation 1, 13.2 ± 0.2 g of fat/100 g sausage).  相似文献

Green crab (Carcinus mediterraneus) was analysed for proximate and fatty acid composition. The yields of crab claw meat and hepatopancreas were 24.9–26.1% and 8.8–9.2%, respectively. Crude protein (NX6.25) and crude fat contents of crab claw meat were 17.8–18.2% and 0.85–1%, respectively, on a dry weight basis, while those of hepatopancreas were 13–14% and 21.8–22.7%, respectively. The fatty acid (FA) profiles were significantly different between claw meat, and hepatopancreas of the crab. The percentage of total saturated fatty acids was higher in the hepatopancreas (25.15–26.24% of total FAs) than in the claw meat (22.58–23.49% of total FAs). The main saturated fatty acids were palmitic acid (16:0) and stearic acid (18:0). Palmitic acid represented 11.5–12.45% and 11–11.5% of the total FAs in the hepatopancreas and in the claw meat, respectively. The percentages of stearic acid were 7.8–8.3% and 7–7.3% in the hepatopancreas and in the claw meat, respectively. Meanwhile, oleic acid (18:1) was the dominant monounsaturated fatty acid which represents 16.15–16.85% and 15.4–15.7% of the hepatopancreas and the claw meat total FAs, respectively. The dominant PUFA was arachidonic acid (20:4n-6) in both claw meat and hepatopancreas. The content of arachidonic acid (20:4n-6) was higher in the hepatopancreas (13–13.5%) than in the claw meat (10.5–11.8%).  相似文献

In this paper, integrated planning of production, imperfect maintenance and process inspections in a multi-machine system is investigated. This system consists of parallel machines which deteriorate with time and they may shift from a primarily in-control state to a degraded state with a higher defective rate or to a failed state. Maintenance scheduling corresponds to a discrete time age-based imperfect maintenance with a large number of maintenance alternatives. Process inspections are considered to detect the current state of the system. Detecting a deteriorated condition initiates the quality check of the related sub-lots, rework of defective items and a process adjustment that brings the machine in its normal conditions. Production planning includes a capacitated lot-sizing problem with multiple products. We propose a joint approach that coordinates the decisions of the three functions, where the objective function minimises the total cost. Evaluation of costs and interacting factors is presented and two heuristic methods are proposed to solve the problem. The results of the joint model are compared to a non-integrated method and a sensitivity analysis is conducted.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Marine snail (Hexaplex trunculus) presents increasing nutritional, commercial and economical importance, being widely consumed in northern Africa, particularly in Mediterranean countries. From a nutritional point of view there is still limited information on the chemical composition of edible tissues (meat and hepatopancreas) of this species. Therefore, the aims of the present work were to study the proximate chemical composition, fatty acid and amino acid profiles of H. trunculus from the Tunisian Mediterranean coasts. RESULTS: Fatty acid profiles showed that the polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) content is higher than the saturated fatty acids (SFA). The yields of PUFA and SFA present in the meat fat were 68.2% and 33.4% of the total fatty acids, respectively. Similar values were obtained in the hepatopancreatic lipidic fraction. Snail tissues contain valuable concentrations of PUFA, especially n‐6 and n‐3 with chain lengths of 20 and 22 carbons. All edible tissues were valuable sources of essential amino acids. Aspartic acid is the major amino acids present in the meat and hepatopancreas. The concentrations of nutrients were also determined in the hepatopancreas and meat of H. trunculus. Significantly high concentrations of minerals and trace elements were found in these tissues. CONCLUSION: This study suggests that H. trunculus is an important source of protein and essential amino acids. Furthermore, the snail lipidic fraction contains high proportions of polyunsaturated fatty acids benefical for human health. Copyright © 2011 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

Free vibration of functionally graded material (FGM) nanobeams is investigated by considering surface effects including surface elasticity, surface stress, and surface density as well as the piezoelectric field using nonlocal elasticity theory. The balance conditions between the nanobeam bulk and its surfaces are satisfied assuming a cubic variation for the normal stress, ${\sigma_{zz}}$ , through the piezoelectric FG nanobeam thickness. Accordingly, the surface density is introduced into the governing equation of the free vibration of nanobeams. The results are obtained for various gradient indices, voltage values of the piezoelectric field, nanobeam lengths, and mode numbers. It is shown that making changes to voltage values and modifying mechanical properties of piezoelectric FGM nanobeams are two main approaches to achieve desired natural frequencies.  相似文献

Little information is available on the relationship between occupational exposure to inorganic arsenic in coal fly ash and urinary excretion of arsenic metabolites. This study ws undertaken in a coal-fired power plant in Slovakia during a routine maintenance outage. Arsenic was measured in the breathing zone of workers during 5 consecutive workdays, and urine samples were obtained for analysis of arsenic metabolites--inorganic arsenic (Asi), monomethylarsonic acid (MMA), and dimethylarsinic acid (DMA)--prior to the start of each shift. Results from a small number of cascade impactor air samples indicated that approximately 90% of total particle mass and arsenic was present in particle size fractions >/= 3.5 micron. The 8-hr time-weighted average (TWA) mean arsenic air concentration was 48.3 microg/m3 (range 0.17-375.2) and the mean sum of urinary arsenic (SigmaAs) metabolites was 16.9 microg As/g creatinine (range 2.6-50.8). For an 8-hr TWA of 10 microg/m3 arsenic from coal fly ash, the predicted mean concentration of the SigmaAs urinary metabolites was 13.2 microg As/G creatinine [95% confidence interval (CI), 10.1-16.3). Comparisons with previously published studies of exposure to arsenic trioxide vapors and dusts in copper smelters suggest that bioavailability of arsenic from airborne coal fly ash (as indicated by urinary excretion) is about one-third that seen in smelters and similar settings. Arsenic compound characteristics, matrix composition, and particle size distribution probably play major roles in determining actual uptake of airborne arsenic.  相似文献
