Profiling Voids Embedded in a Slab by a Non-Linear Model

In this paper, by applying a non linear model for the electromagnetic inverse scattering, a technique for the dielectric profiling of a planarly layered medium is investigated and applied to void localization and diagnostics inside a homogeneous lossless slab (one-dimensional geometry). Data are collected under plane wave multifrequency normal incidence. Suitable finite dimensional representations for the unknown functions are introduced and their influence on the model is discussed. The resulting functional equation is solved by the method of weighted residuals and the solution algorithm amounts to minimizing a non quadratic function, where particular attention is devoted to reduce the occurrence of local minima. Finally, the inversion algorithm is validated by applications to both simulated and experimental data.     

Retrograde Amnesia Induced by Drugs Acting on Different Molecular Systems.

The gamma aminobutyric acid-A (GABAA) agonist, muscimol, the glutamate N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist, D-2-amino-5-phosphonopentanoic acid (AP5), and the inhibitor of the extracellularly regulated kinases (ERKs), UO 126, cause retrograde amnesia when administered to the hippocampus. In the present study, the authors found that they all cause retrograde amnesia for 1-trial inhibitory avoidance, not only when infused into the dorsal CA1 region of the hippocampus, but also when infused into the basolateral amygdala or the entorhinal, parietal, and posterior cingulate cortices. The posttraining time course of the effect of each drug was, however, quite different across brain structures. Thus, in all of them, NMDA receptors and the ERK pathway are indispensable for memory consolidation, and GABAA receptor activation inhibits memory consolidation: but in each case, their influence is interwoven differently. 腐殖酸对烤烟根系生长和生理活性的影响

对腐殖酸和基肥混施进行了烤烟盆栽试验。结果表明 ,腐殖酸能有效刺激根系的生理活性 ,提高根系抗坏血酸氧化酶、多酚氧化酶等呼吸酶的活性 ,增强根系的活力 ,并能有效促进烤烟根系生长 ,根干重、体积和长度均有提高。

N_2S_2或N_3S型配体的合成、~(99)Tc~m标记及生物分布研究

以MAG3为基本分子骨架，根据构效关系，分别引入合适的天然氨基酸，设计合成了4种N2S2或N3S型小分子多肽新配体，并通过了IR，^1H NMR,^13C NMR,MS谱学鉴定和元素分析表征。采用葡庚糖酸钙（GH）交换法对4个配体进行了^99Tc^m标记，研究了配合物在小鼠体内的生物分布特征。结果表明，^99Tc^m-MVGG肾摄取较高，滞留时间较长，血清除快，且肾与其它组织的活度比值高，具备成为肾功能显像剂的条件；^99Tc^m-MPGG肾初始摄取较高，R（肾／血）活度比值高，但肾清除较快，R（肾／肝）活度比值较低；^99Tc^m-MVTC和^99Tc^m－MPTC心肌初始摄取均较高，但在心肌和血中的清除速度较快。     

高Al2O3物料对镍电炉渣粘度的影响

论文对Al2O3高达69．46％的含镍物料电炉处理时对炉渣性能的影响进行了研究。研究表明：吉林镍业公司冶炼厂电炉渣1340℃时黏度为0．538P．s；电炉渣在不添加任何其它试剂的情况下，渣中Al2O3含量不宜高于9％；加入添加剂后，炉渣黏度降低，当在配料中加入20％此种含镍物料时，添加剂加入量7％为宜，此时炉渣黏度为0．74P．s（1340℃）。     

日产NHR-90W型催化剂失活原因分析

对日产NHR -90W催化剂在抚顺石化分公司石油二厂 6万t/a石蜡加氢装置运行情况进行了研究 ,证明该催化剂活性较高 ,对原料的适应性也较强。同时 ,对造成催化剂短期内失活的原因进行了分析 ,认为原料中铁离子含量过高是造成催化剂失活的主要原因。对相关装置生产控制提出了建议
