The effect of N-containing compounds on oxidative desulphurization of liquid fuel

The oxidative removal of organic sulfur compounds from model fuel with H₂O₂ over Ti-containing molecular sieves in the presence of N-containing compounds had been studied. The effect of the types and amounts of nitrides on oxidative desulphurization were investigated. It has been shown that pyridine and pyrrole have adverse impact on the oxidation of thiophene and lead to the decrease of corresponding removal rate. The pyridine has stronger influence than pyrrole. Quinoline and indole have no impact on the final removal rate of thiophene. However, the two kinds of nitrides, as well as carbazole, have obvious impact on the oxidation removal of benzothiophene and 4,6-dimethyl dibenzothiophene. The effect of nitrides on oxidative desulphurization can be attributed to the strong adsorption of nitrides and their oxidized products on the active sites of catalysts. For pyridine and quinoline, which are basic nitrides, their adsorptions on catalysts are even stronger than that of sulfides.

铜-钢复合板的焊接工艺

通过对铜-钢复合板接头的焊接性分析,制定了适用于铜-钢复合板的焊接工艺。经试验件及产品焊接证明,焊缝质量完全满足产品使用要求,焊后经气密性检验及耐压检验,均一次打压合格。     

Large-area organic photovoltaic module—Fabrication and performance

Here we describe the fabrication of the largest (233 cm² total area) organic photovoltaic (OPV) module (polymer:fullerene) to be certified by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). OPV solar cells were fabricated at Plextronics by spin coating a blend of poly 3-hexylthiophene-2,5 diyl (P3HT) and [6,6] phenyl C₆₁ butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) on top of our hole transport layer (HTL), Plexcore^® OC. In laboratory-scale devices (0.09 cm²), this system routinely exhibits power conversion efficiencies exceeding 3.7%. This P3HT:PCBM active layer and HTL ink system was used to scale up to the larger area module (15.2 cm×15.2 cm module size, i.e. 233 cm² total area; 108 cm² active area), which was certified by NREL as having 1.1% total area efficiency (3.4% active area efficiency).     

Ultrafast deposition of microcrystalline silicon films using high-density microwave plasma

For fast deposition of microcrystalline silicon (μc-Si:H) films, a microwave-induced high-density plasma source is developed. By using this plasma source, highly crystallized μc-Si:H films can be deposited from SiH₄+He plasma without even using H₂ dilution and substrate heating. A systematic deposition study shows that the film deposition rate increases with increase in the input microwave power and the SiH₄ flow rate. The film crystallinity also improves with power but degrades with increase in the SiH₄ flux. After optimizing the plasma conditions, the deposition of a highly crystallized μc-Si film has been realized at an ultrafast deposition rate higher than 700 nm/s.     

Dynamic Multiresolution Data Dissemination in Wireless Sensor Networks

Recent years have seen the deployments of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) in a variety of applications to gather the information about physical environments. A key requirement of many data-gathering WSNs is to deliver the information about dynamic physical phenomena to users at multiple temporal resolutions. In this paper, we propose a novel solution called the Minimum Incremental Dissemination Tree (MIDT) for dynamic multiresolution data dissemination in WSNs. MIDT includes an online tree construction algorithm with an analytical performance bound and two lightweight tree adaptation heuristics for handling data requests with dynamic temporal resolutions. Our simulations based on realistic settings of Mica2 motes show that MIDT outperforms several typical data dissemination schemes. The two tree adaptation heuristics can effectively maintain desirable energy efficiency of the dissemination tree while reducing the overhead of tree reconfigurations under representative traffic patterns in WSNs.
