This paper focuses on describing a control strategy for a real surface tramway powered by a hybrid system based on fuel cell and battery. This tramway, called Metro Centro, serves the centre of Seville, a city in Spain. Currently, it operates as catenary-powered tramway.The configuration and modeling of all principal components of the hybrid system are briefly described. The models, implemented in MATLAB-Simulink environment, have been designed from commercially available components. The implemented control is based on an equivalent consumption minimization strategy. It allows a suitable energy management of the hybrid system, minimizing the hydrogen consumption.  相似文献

In a Classroom Multiplayer Presential Game (CMPG) peers interact collaboratively with the virtual world and amongst themselves in a shared space. The design of this kind of game, however, is a complex process that must consider instruction strategies, methodology, usability and ludic aspects. This article’s aim is to develop and systematize guidelines for the design of CMPGs. To develop these guidelines we used a three-step process: evaluating an initial implementation of a CMPG and finding its problems; defining guidelines that can help overcome these problems; and redesigning the game based on the guidelines before testing it in a real class scenario to assess how helpful the guidelines were in solving the initial problems.  相似文献

The thermodynamic properties of ABr-PrBr3(A=Li-Cs) systems were assessed by the CALPHAD method. The liquid phase in the systems was described by the non-stoichiometric associate model. The entropies of mixing in the liquid were evaluated from experimental liquidus and enthalpy of mixing data. For the pseudobinary compounds A3PrBr6,APr2Br7, and A2PrBr5 (A=K,Rb) and Cs3PrBr6 and CsPr2Br7, the dependences of Gibbs energies of formation on temperature were calculated. The anomalies of sequences of thermodynamic properties in RbBr-PrBr3 were observed and discussed. The nature of the liquid phase and precision of calculations of the Rb2PrBr5(s) compound were discussed.  相似文献

The discrete ordered median location model is a powerful tool in modeling classic and alternative location problems that have been applied with success to a large variety of discrete location problems. Nevertheless, although hub location models have been analyzed from the sum, maximum and coverage point of views, as far as we know, they have never been considered under an alternative unifying point of view. In this paper we consider new formulations, based on the ordered median objective function, for hub location problems with new distribution patterns induced by the different users’ roles within the supply chain network. This approach introduces some penalty factors associated with the position of an allocation cost with respect to the sorted sequence of these costs. First we present basic formulations for this problem, and then develop stronger formulations by exploiting properties of the model. The performance of all these formulations is compared by means of a computational analysis.  相似文献

The discrete mollification method is a convolution-based filtering procedure suitable for the regularization of ill-posed problems. Combined with explicit space-marching finite difference schemes, it provides stability and convergence for a variety of coefficient identification problems in linear parabolic equations. In this paper, we extend such a technique to identify some nonlinear diffusion coefficients depending on an unknown space dependent function in one dimensional parabolic models. For the coefficient recovery process, we present detailed error estimates and to illustrate the performance of the algorithms, several numerical examples are included.  相似文献

Certainly, one of the prominent ideas of Professor José Mira was that it is absolutely mandatory to specify the mechanisms and/or processes underlying each task and inference mentioned in an architecture in order to make operational that architecture. The conjecture of the last fifteen years of joint research has been that any bottom-up organization may be made operational using two biologically inspired methods called “algorithmic lateral inhibition”, a generalization of lateral inhibition anatomical circuits, and “accumulative computation”, a working memory related to the temporal evolution of the membrane potential. This paper is dedicated to the computational formulation of both methods. Finally, all of the works of our group related to this methodological approximation are mentioned and summarized, showing that all of them support the validity of this approximation.  相似文献

Context

Human resources play a critical role in software project success. However, people are still the least formalized factor in today’s process models. Generally, people are assigned to roles and project teams are formed on the basis of project leaders’ experience of people, constraints (e.g. availability) and skill requirements. Yet this process has to take multiple factors into account. Few works in the literature model this process. Most of these are informal proposals focusing on the individual assignment of people to project tasks and do not consider other aspects like team formation as a whole.

Objective

In this paper we formulate a formal model for assigning human resources to software project teams. Additionally, we describe the key results of the knowledge management process enacted to output the elements of the model.

Method

The model elements were identified using the Delphi expert consultation method and applying psychological tests. The proposed model was implemented in a software tool and validated on two software development organization assignment scenarios.

Results

We built a formal model for the process of assigning human resources to software project teams. This model takes into account as many factors as possible and aids the assignment of individuals to project roles, as well as the formation of the team as a whole.We found that the rules that were identified to form software development project teams are useful. From the tests we found that model implementation was feasible (all the executions of the implemented problem-solving algorithms output feasible solutions in response times that can be considered as acceptable).

Conclusion

Using the Delphi method we were able to propose software project roles and competences. Psychological tests and data mining tools identified useful rules for forming software project teams. These were used to build a formal model. This model was built into a tool that returns role assignments in acceptable response times. This decision support tool helps managers assign people to roles and to form teams. Using the tool, project leaders can flexibly evaluate different team make-ups, taking into account several factors, as well as different constraints and objectives.  相似文献

We present a novel strategy for computing disparity maps from omni-directional stereo images obtained with fish-eye lenses in forest environments. At a first segmentation stage, the method identifies textures of interest to be either matched or discarded. Two of them are identified by applying the powerful Support Vector Machines approach. At a second stage, a stereovision matching process is designed based on the application of four stereovision matching constraints: epipolarity, similarity, uniqueness and smoothness. The epipolarity guides the process. The similarity and uniqueness are mapped once again through the Support Vector Machines, but under a different way to the previous case; after this an initial disparity map is obtained. This map is later filtered by applying the Discrete Simulated Annealing framework where the smoothness constraint is conveniently mapped. The combination of the segmentation and stereovision matching approaches makes the main contribution. The method is compared against the usage of simple features and combined similarity matching strategies.  相似文献

This work presents methods for deforming meshes in a shape-sensitive way using Moving Least Squares (MLS) optimization. It extends an approach for deforming space (Cuno et al. in Proceedings of the 27th Computer Graphics International Conference, pp. 115–122, 2007) by showing how custom distance metrics may be used to achieve deformations which preserve the overall mesh shape. Several variant formulations are discussed and demonstrated, including the use of geodesic distances, distances constrained to paths contained in the mesh, the use of skeletons, and a reformulation of the MLS scheme which makes it possible to affect the bending behavior of the deformation. Finally, aspects of the implementation of these techniques in parallel architectures such as GPUs (graphics processing units) are described and compared with CPU-only implementations.  相似文献
