Activity for hydrolysis of CCl2F2 (CFC12) on various metal sulfate was investigated. Zr(SO4)2 was found to be the most active while FeSO4, Cr2(SO4)3, Al2(SO4)3, La2(SO4)3 and Ce2(SO4)3 had intermediate activity. MnSO4, CoSO4, and MgSO4 showed low activity and SrSO4, CaSO4, and BaSO4 had even less activity. The major carbon containing product was CO2 and small amount of CClF3 and CO were formed over several sulfates. The crystal structure of the sulfates was stable during decomposition of CCl2F2, and the conversion reached a steady state after initial decrease at 275 °C over Zr(SO4)2 catalyst. The concentration of surface hydroxyl was larger than that over AlPO4-based catalysts and a reaction mechanism similar to that over AlPO4-based catalysts was proposed.  相似文献

Molecular hydrogen ameliorates pathological states in a variety of human diseases, animal models, and cell models, but the effects of hydrogen on cancer have been rarely reported. In addition, the molecular mechanisms underlying the effects of hydrogen remain mostly unelucidated. We found that hydrogen enhances proliferation of four out of seven human cancer cell lines (the responders). The proliferation-promoting effects were not correlated with basal levels of cellular reactive oxygen species. Expression profiling of the seven cells showed that the responders have higher gene expression of mitochondrial electron transport chain (ETC) molecules than the non-responders. In addition, the responders have higher mitochondrial mass, higher mitochondrial superoxide, higher mitochondrial membrane potential, and higher mitochondrial spare respiratory capacity than the non-responders. In the responders, hydrogen provoked mitochondrial unfolded protein response (mtUPR). Suppression of cell proliferation by rotenone, an inhibitor of mitochondrial ETC complex I, was rescued by hydrogen in the responders. Hydrogen triggers mtUPR and induces cell proliferation in cancer cells that have high basal and spare mitochondrial ETC activities.  相似文献

In the present study, K2S and Bi2S3 were used as additives in electrolytes and electrodes, respectively. The effects of these additives on the electrochemical properties of nano-sized Fe2O3-loaded carbon electrodes were investigated using cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic cycling performance and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), along with electron dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The results showed that both K2S and Bi2S3 significantly reduced hydrogen evolution and benefited the Fe2O3-loaded carbon electrode, such as by retarding passivation and improving the discharge capacity. The effects of metal sulfide additives depended on the carbon used. For Bi2S3 additive, all carbons provided larger capacities than acetylene black (AB) while AB gave greater capacity than other carbons when K2S was used.  相似文献

Here, we reported that a new carbon electrode prepared with an activated carbon was superior to a Pt sputtered electrode as the counter electrode of dye-sensitized solar cells. The photovoltaic performance was largely influenced by the roughness factor of carbon electrode. The open-circuit voltage increased by about 60 mV using the carbon counter electrode compared to the Pt counter electrode because of positive shift of the formal potential for I3/I couple.  相似文献

Aggregation of high affinity IgE Fc receptors (Fc epsilon RI) on RBL-2H3 cells results in tyrosine phosphorylation of 33-, 42-, 44-, 72-, 80-, 90-, 125-kDa proteins. The 42 and 44 kDa proteins were identified as mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinases with immunoblotting of anti-MAP kinase antibody. The effects of an antiallergic drug, pemirolast potassium (TBX) on Ag-induced protein tyrosine phosphorylation and MAP kinase activation were investigated. When RBL-2H3 cells were stimulated with Ag in the presence of TBX, tyrosine phosphorylation of three proteins (33, 42 and 44 kDa) was inhibited concentration-dependently (0.1-10 micrograms/ml). Inhibition of Ag-induced tyrosine phosphorylation of 33 kDa protein, which could be a beta subunit of Fc epsilon RI, suggests that TBX may prevent the activation of Fc epsilon RI. TBX suppressed activation of MAP kinases (42 and 44 kDa) in response to Ag as well as phorbol myristate acetate (100 nM) or calcium ionophore A23187 (500 nM), implying that the drug acts on signal transduction component(s) between the second messengers and MAP kinases. However, TBX had no effects on protein tyrosine phosphorylation and MAP kinase activation in MC3T3-E1 osteoblastic cells. These results indicate that TBX may affect Fc epsilon RI and also may act as a step distal of Ca2+ mobilization and protein kinase C activation leading to MAP kinase activation in RBL-2H3 cells.  相似文献

Simultaneous extraction by microwave-irradiation and crystallisation were performed in the same pot of solvent of 70% (v/v) aqueous ethanol for isolation of hesperidin from thinned immature fruit peels of Citrus unshiu as refining of Citrus waste biomass. The hesperidin content in immature fruits peels was about 3.2-fold higher than that of mature fruit. After microwave-assisted extraction (MAE), the yield of hesperidin reached 58.6 mg/g, which was comparable to the amount obtained after extraction using DMSO:methanol (1:1, v/v) as a solvent for 30 min at room temperature. Heating temperature and time for isolation of hesperidin crystallites were optimised as 140 °C and 8 min by using response surface methodology. Under this optimal condition, 86.8% (47.7 mg/g) of total hesperidin was isolable by MAE and low-temperature storage (5 °C, 24 h).  相似文献

As a soft and flexible porous structure, a pore array of a steroid cyclophane SC(OH), which consists of the rigid 1,6,20,25-tetraaza[6.1.6.1]paracyclophane ring connected to four steroid moieties (cholic acid) through flexible L-lysine spacers, was prepared at the air-water interface. As confirmed by surface pressure (π)-molecular area (A) isotherms, transition between open conformation and cavity conformation of the SC(OH) molecule was reversibly induced upon repeated compression and expansion of its monolayer at pH 11 where amino groups of the lysine residues are not fully deprotonated. Capture and release of an aqueous fluorescent guest (TNS) by SC(OH) was observed upon dynamic cavity formation through surface fluorescence spectroscopy. At pH 12, dynamic cavity formation of SC(OH) was sufficiently suppressed, and the capture and release of an aqueous TNS by the monolayer was not virtually observed. Lessened electrostatic repulsion between the SC(OH) molecules due to conversion of ammonium to free amine may prevent the cavity from reopening. The importance of dynamic nature of cavity formation on the guest binding was also proved by control experiments using SC(H), which cannot form cavity conformation at any surface pressures at both pH 11 and 12.  相似文献

Fabrications of micro-dot electrodes of LiCoO2 and Li4Ti5O12 on Au substrates were demonstrated using a sol-gel process combined with a micro-injection technology. A typical size of prepared dots was about 100 μm in diameter, and the dot population on the substrate was 2400 dots cm−2. The prepared LiCoO2 and Li4Ti5O12 micro-dot electrodes were characterized with scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, micro-Raman spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammetry. The prepared LiCoO2 and Li4Ti5O12 micro-dot electrodes were evaluated in an organic electrolyte as cathode and anode for lithium micro-battery, respectively. The LiCoO2 micro-dot electrode exhibited reversible electrochemical behavior in a potential range from 3.8 to 4.2 V versus Li/Li+, and the Li4Ti5O12 micro-dot electrode showed sharp redox peaks at 1.5 V.  相似文献

Fluorine compounds have high discharge voltage due to its highly ionic metal-ligand bonds. In them, perovskite-type metal trifluorides with corner sharing matrix have large bottlenecks of diffusion pathways for intercalants. Iron trifluoride composites (FeF3-C) prepared by planetary ball milling with carbon showed reversible charge/discharge behavior not only for Li, but also for Na anodes. X-ray diffraction and 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy were applied to characterize the electrochemical properties of FeF3 vs. Li and Na anodes. The cathode performances of the other commercially available transition metal trifluorides such as MF3 (M = Ti, V, Mn, Co) have been also investigated.  相似文献
