作为2007年世界太阳能大会重要组成部分的"2007台达杯国际太阳能建筑设计竞赛"自去年9月正式启动以来报名及作品提交工作进展顺利。本次竞赛得到了社会各界的广泛关注,不论是参赛人员     

电力市场仿真和培训系统的设计及实现

介绍了电力市场仿真和培训系统（PMSTS）的设计及实现。该系统基于 Net Framework框架结构，建立在统一的底层数据库之上，采用模块化结构体系、可视化图形界面，由教员台（客户/服务器结构）、学员台（浏览器/服务器结构）2部分组成，可以仿真不同电力网络在不同市场交易规则下的运行过程，达到培训、指导电力市场参与者的目标，并且对电力市场机制的设计和评估具有重要的理论参考价值。立足于电力市场运作的仿真和培训，该系统可以检验电力市场决策方案的合理性和有效性，能够帮助广大电力系统专业的学生及专业人员理解、熟悉电力交易机制，掌握市场规律。通过IEEE 30节点系统的算例，验证了该系统的有效性和实用性。     

火电机组运行优化系统的现状与展望

简单回顾了国内外在火电机组运行优化领域的研究历程，列举了目前国内外市场上针对火电机组的各种主流运行优化产品的功能特点和应用情况，分析了国外引进产品和国内自主研发产品在中国当前市场环境下各自的优势和劣势。介绍了当前运行优化系统在国内电站机组的应用现状，阐述了国内外运行优化系统在实际应用中存在的问题，并提出了相应的改进意见。对机组运行优化系统的未来发展进行了展望，指出机组运行优化系统将利用先进技术设备和信息平台，与电站管理紧密结合，在日益规范的市场中不断发展完善，为提高电站经济性发挥更大的作用。     

Strange chaotic attractor crowding in boost converter model

A set of chaotic attractors is observed on a boost converter model. The union of their Poincare maps is strange. The attractors are densely packed such that they are sensitive to initial conditions. However every attractor in the set is stable with a finite (may be long) period     

Simulation and design methodology for a 50-Gb/s multiplexer/demultiplexer package

A 50 Gb/s package for SiGe BiCMOS 4:1 multiplexer and 1:4 demultiplexer targeting SONET OC-768 serial communication systems is introduced in this work. The package was designed to facilitate bit-error-rate tests and constructed with high-speed coaxial connectors, transmission lines on ceramic substrate, ribbon bonds for chip-to-package interconnects, and a metal composite housing. Numerical simulations were conducted to guide the package design, and both small signal measurements and operational tests were performed thereafter to verify the design and modeling concepts. To keep the model structure under the existing computing capability, the simulation was segmented into three sections - coaxial connector to transmission line, transmission line alone, and transmission line to ribbon bond, and then the results were assembled to predict the performance of the entire package. The package was operated up to 50 Gb/s with low degradation to input digital waveforms and free of error.     

Overview of LIMEX'87 ice observations

Ice observations, results, and conclusions are summarized for the March 1987 Labrador Ice Margin Experiment (LIMEX'87), an international oceanographic study conducted in the pack ice of the Grand Banks area off the coast of Newfoundland. Included are the ice extent, flow size and thickness, ice kinematics and rheology, ice microwave properties, oceanic properties under the ice, and penetration of swell into the ice     

利用闲置设备生产均三甲苯的探索

介绍了利用闲置设备工业化生产均三甲苯的方法,并从理论上研究了生产的可行性。探讨了提高均三甲苯产品纯度和收率的途径。     

CO_2激光对兔脑组织血脑屏障的影响

同等功率和照射时间条件下,在14只家兔大脑皮质运用伊文思蓝染料和超微结构观察方法进行血脑屏障改变的研究。结果表明:CO_2激光作用十分表浅,且激光作用后的水肿层血脑屏障改变是可逆的。     

Nonlinear Kerr interactions between modulated waves propagating ina single-mode fiber

The interactions induced by the nonlinear refractive index in a single-mode optical fiber (Kerr effect) between a modulated wave and a carrier wave have been investigated for amplitude shift keying (ASK), frequency shift keying (FSK), and phase shift keying (PSK). The theoretical analysis, based on a time-domain solution, exploits the well-known formalism of self-phase modulation to describe the propagation of the input electric field in the fiber. The theoretical results were validated experimentally for amplitude- and phase-modulated waves with heterodyne detection techniques. These experiments mimic a coherent transmission system and allow the measurement of the spectrum of each of the waves that participate in the nonlinear interaction     

Multiresolution analysis in extraction of reference lines fromdocuments with gray level background

Based on wavelets, a theoretical method has been developed to process multi-gray level documents. In this method, two-dimensional multiresolution analysis, a wavelet decomposition algorithm, and compactly supported orthonormal wavelets are used to transform a document image into sub-images. According to these sub-images, the reference lines of a multi-gray level document can be extracted, and knowledge about the geometric structure of the document can be acquired. Particularly, this approach is more efficient to process form documents with gray level background. Experiments indicate that this new method can be applied to process documents with promising results
