Nb films have been fabricated on top of array of Ni nanodots. The array of periodic pinning potentials modifies the vortex lattice for specific values of the external applied magnetic field. By means of an implemented code developed from scratch, computer simulations based only on the vortex?Cvortex and the vortex?Cnanodot interactions provide the total interaction between vortices and pinning sites as well as the position of the vortices in the array unit cell. Biodiesel is a renewable bio-fuel derived from natural fats or vegetable oils, and it is considered as a promising alternative to substitute diesel fuels. Cetane number, viscosity, density, and higher heating value are important properties to affect the utilization of biodiesel fuels, because they are involved in the definition of fuel quality and are required as input data for predictive engine combustion models. This work presents the characterization of two biodiesel samples made from beef tallow and soybean oil through their fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) profile. Empirical equations were developed to estimate four physical properties of methyl esters; and an average absolute deviation (AAD) of 5.95%, 2.57%, 0.11% and 0.21% for the cetane number, kinematic viscosity, density, and higher heating value were founded. Cetane number, viscosity, and higher heating value increases because of the increase of molecular weight and these physical properties decrease as the number of double bonds increases. Unlike that of above properties, density decreases as molecular weight increases and density increases as the degree of unsaturation increases. Two general mixing rules and five biodiesel samples were used to study the influence of FAMEs over the physical properties of biodiesel. The prediction of the cetane number, kinematic viscosity, density and higher heating value of biodiesel is very close to the experimental values. 相似文献

Murta (Ugni molinae T.) berries were air‐dried at five temperatures (40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 °C), and the changes in β‐carotene, phenolic acids, total phenolic and flavonoid contents and antioxidant capacities (DPPH and ORAC) were investigated. The berries showed a high content of β‐carotene, which decreased during drying temperature between 40 °C and 80 °C. Free and bound phenolic acids were also determined, showing gallic acid to be the prevalent phenolic acid. Total phenolic and flavonoid contents in the dried berries showed a higher decrease at lower temperature due to longer drying time. The radical‐scavenging activity also showed higher antioxidant activity at higher drying temperatures (70–80 °C) than at lower drying temperatures (40–50 °C). Total phenolic content (TPC) and flavonoids showed good correlation with antioxidant capacity. Murta berries proved to be an excellent source of antioxidants and bioactive compounds and are therefore a potential ingredient for new functional food products. 相似文献

The composition of the mixed micelles formed by benzethonium chloride and dodecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide in water were
experimentally determined by a combination of surfactant ion-selective electrodes and UV–Vis spectroscopy measurements. Results
were compared with the computed compositions from three theories on mixed micelles available in the literature (Regular Solution,
Motomura’ and Georgiev’s). The basis of the Junquera and Aicart method and the determination of the micelle aggregation number
(N) by pyrene fluorescence quenching, i.e., the constancy of N and the mixed micelle composition when the total concentration is changed, were not supported by our experimental results. Experimental micelle compositions were statistically equal to those computed
by Regular Solution Theory. The mixed micelle composition and the quantity of non-micellized surfactant molecules change with
concentration above the critical micelle concentration, and therefore do not support the assumptions used in the Junquera

This paper describes an innovative routing strategy for intelligent transportation units willing to perform merging manoeuvres with a moving convoy. In particular, we consider a transportation unit located inside a city (pursuer unit), and which wishes to join a convoy that is constantly moving around the city. We first describe a solution that considers idealistic conditions, i.e., the traveling time along each street is constant. We then go on to improve our first approach to deal with the realistic random nature of the traveling times experienced by the pursuer and by the convoy leader. Our search strategy applies Dynamic Programming to achieve a meeting point that is optimal in two ways: on one hand, the optimal destination is the one closest to the current pursuer??s position; on the other hand, the optimal meeting point must minimize the time that elapses until the pursuer meets the convoy (considering that the pursuer must always arrive first). Calculating the optimal path to every possible destination is highly inefficient, error prone and time consuming. On the contrary, we propose an efficient search strategy that will achieve the meeting point and the path to it, both optimally and in a very short time. This enables the real-time application of our approach either for finding new solutions or for re-planning old ones owing to unexpected real-conditions. 相似文献

This work investigates the effect of sodium, potassium, and calcium chloride salts on the performance of Spanish green table olive fermentation using a simple centroid mixture design. The presence of calcium chloride hindered the diffusion of all sugars and delayed the period required to reach their respective maximum concentrations in brines. Such effects can prevent tumultuous processes and gas pocket spoilage. Acetic acid was present at low concentrations in all treatments but was not generated during fermentation. The production rate of lactic acid was either decreased or delayed by the presence of calcium chloride but adequate final conditions were always reached. The chemometric analysis classified treatments into groups according to the presence of calcium chloride and disclosed a stimulating effect of potassium on lactic acid production. Therefore, these techniques can be a useful tool to investigate olive fermentation performance. According to the results, acceptable Spanish green table olives can be produced using salt mixtures, with the subsequent reduced sodium content in the final products. A process to recover residues of crosslinked polyolefin foams is described in this paper. Low‐density foam scraps coming from discarded products or cuts from secondary manufacturing processes are heated and pressed to obtain a new material. The main target to reach with the used recovering process was to keep the density of the recycled specimens as low as possible, and similar to that of the starting products. The structure and properties of both recovered and virgin commercial materials with similar densities have been analyzed. It has been found that due to the recovering process cell size slightly decreased and at the same time the cells become orientated. Mechanical properties of recovered foams were lower than those of commercial products, even though thermal conductivity remained in the range of the values presented by virgin products, and recovered products were better sound absorbers than virgin foams. It is concluded that due to its low density and good balance of properties the recovered materials can substitute virgin materials in applications in which the key properties are excellent thermal insulation, good acoustic absorption, and medium compressive strength. Hyperaemia is an excess of blood in a tissue that causes the appearance of an unusual red hue in the affected area. It is a common occurrence in the bulbar conjunctiva, where it can be related to multiple pathologies, such as conjunctivitis or dry eye syndrome. Specialists grade hyperaemia by means of a tedious, subjective, non-repeatable and time-consuming process. These drawbacks can be solved with the automatisation of the process by means of image processing techniques. The automatic segmentation of the conjunctiva is an important part of the process, as it ensures the absence of noise in posterior stages of the methodology. However, there are several issues of illumination and focus in the input videos that difficult the process.
