Mechanical behaviour of SiC fibre-reinforced titanium/titanium aluminide hybrid composites

The viability of developing an SiC fibre-reinforced titanium/titanium aluminide hybrid matrix composite was explored. The hybrid composites are expected to be used at temperatures beyond those attainable in conventional titanium matrix composites while improving the damage tolerance of the titanium aluminide matrix composites. The room-temperature mechanical characteristics studied were tensile strength, fracture toughness, low-cycle fatigue life and fatigue crack growth rate. The mechanisms of damage initiation and propagation under various loading conditions were also characterized. The directions for developing a satisfactory composite with hybrid titanium/titanium aluminide matrix are also addressed.

提出了一种相似度的新定义，使双极ＷＡＴ模型的实现更加简洁明了。增加一个阈值使系统能判别非存储模式或因其信息量过低而无法鉴定的输入模式，阈值的大小与要求的容错能力有关。双极相似度及阈值通过光学方法实现。阈值的光学实现使系统仍具有照明不变性。通过电路实现取及ＷＴＡ网络的迭代运算。     

GaAs／AlGaAs多量子阱红外探测器的光电流谱

测量了ＧａＡｓ／ＡｌＧａＡｓ多量子阱红外探测器在零偏压、小偏流和大偏压等条件下的光电流谱，并结合理论计算的光跃迁能量讨论了光电流谱的多峰结构和异常增强特性。     

IPA模型对Hopfield模型神经网络的改进

考虑Ｈｏｐｆｉｅｌｄ模型中假态之间的布尔逻辑关系，提出利用ＩＰＡ模型对神经网络中的假态进行抑制，并和原网络的性能进行了比较，结果表明：改进后的网络性能比Ｈｏｐｆｉｅｌｄ模型和ＩＰＡ模型均有较大提高。     

ANALYSIS AND PROCESSING OF LMF－COSTAS STEPPED FREQUENCY RADAR SIGNAL

Linear Modulated Frequency (LMF) Costas Stepped Frequency Radar (SFR) signal is introduced. Its ambiguity function is derived and analyzed in detail and its feasibility is validated in theory. The scheme of the proposed signal processing is also presented. The results of theoretic analysis and simulation show that, by using the proposed signal and increasing the bandwidth of the total stepped frequency, the ambiguity sidelobe is well suppressed and the range-velocity coupling in the stepped frequency radar is also greatly weakened.

Comments on “Multiphase systolic algorithms for spectraldecomposition” [and reply]

Comments that the paper by Liu and Yao (see ibid., vol.40, no.1, p.190, 1992) presented an efficient algorithm for spectral decomposition, but the parallel algorithm and architecture for the Hessenberg reduction has a problem. The matrix obtained from the unitary similarity transformation is not necessarily a Hessenberg matrix. The authors reply that the Hessenberg reduction described is not in the Hessenberg form.
