In this work, the anticorrosion properties of phenyl trimethoxysilane (PTMS) films coated on aluminium 5000 series alloys were studied. PTMS films were deposited at various cathodic potentials. The optimum electrodeposition potential was found to be ?0.8?V vs. SCE. The coatings were also modified by different amounts of nano-TiO2. In order to introduce corrosion inhibition and a self-repair property of the PTMS film, the addition of chromium (III) corrosion inhibitor in the presence of nano-TiO2 was studied. The anticorrosion performance of coatings was investigated in a 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution. At optimum deposition potential, the ‘critical’ nano-TiO2 and Cr(III) contents were both observed, under which the obtained PTMS coatings show the highest anticorrosion performance. The surface morphologies of PTMS coatings were examined by scanning electron microscopy. The results showed that the coatings deposited at ?0.8?V vs. SCE, from 20?ppm of nano-TiO2 and 0.003 M Cr(III) inhibitor present uniform and compact morphologies.  相似文献

ZnS and CdS nanoparticles were prepared by a simple microwave irradiation method under mild conditions. The obtained nanoparticles were characterized by XRD, TEM and EDX. The results indicated that high purity of nanosized ZnS and CdS was successfully obtained with cubic and hexagonal crystalline structures, respectively. The band gap energies of ZnS and CdS nanoparticles were estimated using UV-visible absorption spectra to be about 4.22 and 2.64 eV, respectively. Photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue was carried out using physical mixtures of ZnS and CdS nanoparticles under a 500-W halogen lamp of visible light irradiation. The residual concentration of methylene blue solution was monitored using UV-visible absorption spectrometry. From the study of the variation in composition of ZnS:CdS, a composition of 1:4 (by weight) was found to be very efficient for degradation of methylene blue. In this case the degradation efficiency of the photocatalyst nanoparticles after 6 h irradiation time was about 73% with a reaction rate of 3.61 × 10−3 min−1. Higher degradation efficiency and reaction rate were achieved by increasing the amount of photocatalyst and initial pH of the solution.  相似文献

A new kind of solid phase extraction (SPE), which we named in situ surfactant-based solid phase extraction (ISS-SPE), represents a simple, selective and rapid method for preconcentration and determination of manganese from food and water samples. This method has distinct advantages: extraction times are short and recoveries are high; further, we can see formation of fine particles of large specific surface and their good dispersion in the solution. In this work, a small amount of cationic surfactant, n-dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide (DTAB) was injected into the water sample containing Mn ions, which were complexed by 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN). After shaking, a little volume of NaPF6 as an ion-pairing agent was added into the solution by a microsyringe. After preconcentration, the settled phase was dissolved in a specific volume of ethanol and then aspirated into the flame atomic absorption spectrometer by using a homemade microsample introduction system. The effective parameters such as pH, concentration of surfactant, concentration of chelating agent, concentration of ion-pairing agent and effect of salt concentration were optimized by a fractional factorial design to identify the most important parameters and their interactions, and central composite methodology was used to achieve the optimum point of effective parameters to the response. Under the optimum conditions, preconcentration of 10?ml of the sample solution permitted detection of 0.88???g?l?1 with enhancement factor of 45.6, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) for five determinations of Mn ions was 3.5%. The developed method was applied to the determination of trace manganese in various real samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Estimation of evapotranspiration (ET) is necessary in water resources management, farm irrigation scheduling, and environmental assessment. Hence, in practical hydrology, it is often necessary to reliably and consistently estimate evapotranspiration. In this study, two artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, including artificial neural network (ANN) and adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), were used to compute garlic crop water requirements. Various architectures and input combinations of the models were compared for modeling garlic crop evapotranspiration. A case study in a semiarid region located in Hamedan Province in Iran was conducted with lysimeter measurements and weather daily data, including maximum temperature, minimum temperature, maximum relative humidity, minimum relative humidity, wind speed, and solar radiation during 2008–2009. Both ANN and ANFIS models produced reasonable results. The ANN, with 6-6-1 architecture, presented a superior ability to estimate garlic crop evapotranspiration. The estimates of the ANN and ANFIS models were compared with the garlic crop evapotranspiration (ETc) values measured by lysimeter and those of the crop coefficient approach. Based on these comparisons, it can be concluded that the ANN and ANFIS techniques are suitable for simulation of ETc.  相似文献

In order to lessen the energy loss of buildings during the operation phase, and also considering the importance of sustainable construction, producing bricks having more desirable thermal characteristics has become essential. In this study, insulation bricks composed of expanded perlite (EP), natural zeolite, ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS) and clay were fabricated. The effect of replacing clay with GGBFS, zeolite and EP in amounts up to 15%, 15%, and 50% respectively on the bricks' properties was investigated. Mix proportion parameters of bricks were analyzed using the Taguchi method. Various properties of bricks including density, weight loss, shrinkage, apparent porosity, water absorption, resistance to freezing and thawing, compressive strength, thermal conductivity, and microstructural analysis of fired bricks were examined and compared against standard requirements for bricks. Overall, the results showed that while satisfying the standard requirements, bricks containing the aforementioned additives had lower thermal conductivity compared to normal bricks, and therefore, they could be utilized as heat insulation materials.  相似文献

This paper presents a three-step approach to enhance interoperability between heterogeneous se- mantic resources. Firstly, we construct homogeneous representations of these resources in a pivot format, namely OWL DL, with respect to the semantics expressed by the original representation languages. Secondly, mappings are established between concepts of these standardised resources and stored in a so-called articulation ontology. Thirdly, an approach for ranking those mappings is suggested in order to best fit users' needs. This approach is currently being implemented in the Semantic Resources “Interoperabilisation” and Linking System (SRILS). The mapping results as well as the work to be done are discussed.  相似文献

The effect of climate change on water resources is an important challenge. To analyze the negative effects of this phenomenon and recommend adaptive measures, it is necessary to assess streamflow simulation scenarios and streamflow transition probabilities in future periods. This paper employs the HadCM3 (Hadley Centre Coupled Model, version 3) model to generate climate change scenarios in future periods (2010–2039, 2040–2069, and 2070–2099) and under A2 emission scenarios. By introducing climatic variable time series in future periods to the IHACRES (Identification of unit Hydrographs And Component flows from Rainfall, Evaporation and Streamflow data) hydrological model, long-term streamflow simulation scenarios are produced. By fitting statistically different distributions on runoff produced by using goodness-of-fit tests, the most appropriate statistical distribution for each month is chosen and relevant statistical parameters are extracted and compared with statistical parameters of runoff in the base period. Results show that long-term annual runoff average in the three future periods compared to the period 2000–1971 will decrease 22, 11, and 65 %, respectively. ?Despite the reduction in total runoff volume in future periods compared to the baseline period, the decrease is related to medium and high flows. In low flows, total runoff volumes for future periods compared to the baseline period will increase 47, 41, and 14 %, respectively. To further assess the impact of annual average runoff on flows, it is necessary to examine the correlation of time series using streamflow transition probabilities. To compare the streamflow transition probability in each of the future periods with base period streamflow in each month, streamflow is discretized and performance criteria are used. Results show a low coefficient of correlation and high error indicators.  相似文献

In the present study, poly(acrylamide-co-itaconic acid) hybrid nanocomposites were synthesized via free radical copolymerization method. Octavinyl polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (OV-POSS) with different weight ratio (0, 4, 8, 12 and 14 wt%) was utilized as a cross-linker. Dye adsorption properties of the as-prepared hybrid nanocomposites were investigated for crystal violet (CV) elimination from aqueous solution. The effect of various parameters, such as OV-POSS content, adsorbent amount, pH, temperature, contact time and initial dye concentration, on the adsorption of CV was studied. Moreover, adsorption kinetic, isotherm and the thermodynamic of the CV adsorption on the so-called hybrid nanocomposites were studied.  相似文献
