Mo-coated carbon felt (C) supporting material modified by electrochemical deposition of trace amounts of MoPd binary composites having various metal ratios and characterized using various techniques. To our best knowledge, these materials is being reported firstly. The hydrogen evolution activity of the electrodes tested in 1 M KOH solution using electrochemical techniques. It shown that MoPd modified electrodes have large surface area, which is very beneficial for the rate of hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Pd and Mo metals almost homogeneously distributes over the surface and no local aggregations are appeared. The loading of MoPd binary deposits over the Mo-coated C supporting material enhances the rate of the HER more and more when compared to the base substrate. The hydrogen evolution performance of the composites is depending on the metal ratios. The enhanced current density at the C/Mo-Mo50Pd50 electrode at ?1.60 V(Ag/AgCl) is 79.1% with respect to the C felt and 48.1% with respect to the C/Mo modified supporting material. The reduction in resistance related to hydrogen gas releasing at 100 mV overpotential was 97.2% and 58.6% with respect to bare C felt and C/Mo supporting material. The high hydrogen releasing performance of the PdMo-modified electrocatalysts related to intrinsic catalytic activities of Pd and Mo, a possible synergism between these metals and enhanced real surface area of the electrode. The C/Mo-Mo50Pd50 electrode has excellent electrochemical and physical stability during the long time electrolysis. Therefore, it is expected that the procedure applied here contribute to literature since the modifying C support by an active metal provides activation of electrocatalysts. Due to superior properties, we can suggest C/Mo-Mo50Pd50 electrode as promising cathode material for industrial water electrolysis which can reduces the energy input.  相似文献

Dietary fiber (DF) extracted from whole wheat was chemically modified by cross-linking (CL), carboxymethylation (CM), and hydroxypropylation (HP) and their physicochemical properties and baking performance were evaluated. CM contributed to the increase in soluble DF (SDF) contents and water solubility. While CL and HP contributed to the decrease in water solubility as insoluble DF (IDF) contents increased. In comparison to the chemically modified DF, CLDF deteriorated textural and physical properties of cakes. On the other hand, the cakes with CMDF and HPDF had improved cake qualities such as appearance, higher volume and lower hardness compared to cake with native DF. Consequently, this study suggested that the chemical modifications of wheat DF can effectively regulate the IDF/SDF ratio and total dietary fiber (TDF) contents, resulting in the change of physicochemical properties of them. When applied to cake, modified wheat DF diversified the physicochemical properties and quality by a functional group.  相似文献

Many macrocyclic lactones, including avermectins, are known to be used as a veterinary drug, agricultural pesticides, and insecticides. Lactoperoxidase (EC 1.11.1.7) is one of the peroxidases found in milk. Lactoperoxidase has a natural host defense system against micro-organisms and a natural antimicrobial system. In this study, some macrocyclic lactones, including emamectin-benzoate, doramectin, eprinomectin, abamectin, moxidectin-vetranal, and ivermectin were investigated for in vitro inhibitory effects on the bovine lactoperoxidase enzyme, which was purified using amberlite CG-50 H+ resin and sepharose 4B-L-tyrosine-sulphanamide affinity chromatography 344.6-fold, with a yield of 61.1% and a specific activity of 39.11 EU/mg protein. Emamectin-benzoate, doramectin, eprinomectin, abamectin, moxidectin-vetranal, and ivermectin are also known strong antiparasitary properties. In this study, we demonstrated that avermectins have strong lactoperoxidase inhibitory effects. Of these, the emamectin-benzoate was shown to have the most inhibiting effect against lactoperoxidase with Ki value of 6.82 ± 2.60 µM.  相似文献

在电力市场环境下,制定和调整当日负荷计划的周期缩短,尤其是滚动发电计划的提出,使现有负荷预测方法无法满足电力部门对预测精度和速度的要求,因此有人提出了扩展短期负荷预测的概念来解决这一问题,但该方法导致学习机的维数灾难问题难以避免。利用云计算技术对该方法进行改进,在避免了维数灾难的同时提高了预测精度与速度,并用East-Slovakia Power Distribution Company提供的电网运行数据验证了该方法的有效性。  相似文献

A new indirect preconcentration procedure was developed for micellar sensitive detection of trace nitrite as analyte by spectrophotometry. The method is based on ion association of triiodide ion, I3 ? or I2, produced by the reaction of nitrite at low concentrations with excess iodide in presence of ion-pairing agent, Coomassie brilliant blue R 250 (CBB), and electrophilic attack of nitrosyl cation produced by disproportionation of nitrite depending on concentration to ion-pairing agent at higher concentrations than 5 μg L?1 in acidic medium, and then extraction of the ion-pairing complex formed from aqueous solution into the micelles of Triton X-114 at sodium acetate medium. The calibration graphs were rectilinear in the range of 0.5–5 and 5–200 μg L?1 with increasing and decreasing slopes in micellar phase, respectively. The detection and quantification limits of the method were 0.15 and 0.50 μg L?1, and the precision (as RSD) for five replicate measurements of different concentrations of nitrite was in the range of 2.3–4.8%. The average recoveries of spiked nitrite residues ranged from 97 to 104%. The method is free of matrix interferences and successfully applied to the indirect determination of nitrite, nitrate, and total nitrite in selected two groups of foods. Also, the accuracy was validated by analysis of a certified reference material as well as recoveries of spiked samples. The objective of the study is to provide an alternate economical method to determine the contents of nitrite, nitrate, and total nitrite after homogenization, extraction, reduction, and preconcentration from sample matrix.

Abstract

In this paper, three Australian case studies contribute to improved understanding of water-related energy quantification and management. A systems analysis of urban water in South East Queensland (Case Study 1) demonstrates the energy impact of water end use. In Melbourne (Case Study 2), water–energy interlinkages are explored within households. Finally, Case Study 3 in Sydney shows how abatement curves can help guide management action. Collectively, the case studies provide new information for least-cost solutions and simultaneous water and energy efficiency. The work highlights the need for frameworks to characterize and evaluate both the direct and indirect energy influences of urban water.  相似文献
