This paper proposes a method for designing robust H?? static output feedback stabilization of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems under actuator saturation. In this paper, the input saturation is represented by a polytopic model and the modeling error is assumed a norm-bounded uncertainty. A set invariance condition for robust H?? static output feedback system under actuator saturation is first established. Then, the estimation of the largest domain of attraction for the system is formulated and solved as a Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) optimization problem. Acacia caesia (L.) Willd (soap bark) fiber is an abundant natural resource, that is rich in cellulose. The study reports the effective utilization of underutilized Acacia caesia fiber for the isolation of nanocellulose whiskers. The nanocellulose whiskers were isolated successfully from Acacia caesia fibers by following alkali, bleaching, and sulfuric acid treatment. The obtained nanocellulose whiskers were carefully investigated for its chemical composition, structure, morphology, crystallinity, and thermal stability. The chemical composition and Fourier transform infrared spectra of nanocellulose whiskers showed the elimination of the non-cellulosic parts present in the raw Acacia caesia fibers. The X-ray diffraction analysis showed an upsurge in the crystallinity of the cellulose fibers after the chemical treatments. The isolation of nanocellulose whiskers from Acacia caesia raw fiber was confirmed by electron microscopy analysis. The thermogravimetric analysis showed remarkably high char residue for the nanocellulose whiskers compared to raw fibers. Based on the properties of nanocellulose whiskers, it can be concluded that the nanocellulose whiskers produced from Acacia caesia raw fibers are potential reinforcing material for developing high-performance green composites.  相似文献

Standardization of Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) fingerprint region for paints and assessment on the reproducibility using different spectrophotometers were investigated. While selective fingerprint regions may be confusing for technicians/analysts who are non-chemists, we attempt to generalize these regions (e.g., 1300–1000 cm−1 for Epoxy part A and 1400–1000 cm−1 for Epoxy part B) by choosing a universal region (2000–900 cm−1) that works for different paints. Comparison result using a paired student t-test shows that the degree of similarity (r) values from the studied regions are not statistically different. The paint fails the screening analysis occasionally on-site when analyzed using handheld FTIR due to the higher level of noise that gives low r values (r < 0.900 ± 0.002). The same samples were analyzed using a benchtop FTIR and the r values are above 0.900 ± 0.002. While the screening may lead to a false rejection of the sample on-site, there could be occurrence of false acceptance. The on-site screening of EPZ part A with different formulations, for instance, shows that the r values over the entire IR spectrum are above 0.900 ± 0.002 when analyzed using handheld FTIR. After the samples were analyzed using the benchtop, the r values fall below 0.900 ± 0.002.  相似文献

The paper presents a robust parallel distributed compensation(PDC) fuzzy controller for a nonlinear and certain system in continuous time described by the Takagi-Sugeno(T-S) fuzzy model. This controller is based on a new type of time-varying fuzzy sets(TVFS). These fuzzy sets are characterized by displacement of the kernels to the right or left of the universe of discourse, and they are directed by a well-defined criterion. In this work, we only focused on the movement of midpoint of the universe. The movements of this midpoint are optimized by particle swarm optimization(PSO) approach.  相似文献

A brain tumor is a mass or growth of abnormal cells in the brain. In children and adults, brain tumor is considered one of the leading causes of death. There are several types of brain tumors, including benign (non-cancerous) and malignant (cancerous) tumors. Diagnosing brain tumors as early as possible is essential, as this can improve the chances of successful treatment and survival. Considering this problem, we bring forth a hybrid intelligent deep learning technique that uses several pre-trained models (Resnet50, Vgg16, Vgg19, U-Net) and their integration for computer-aided detection and localization systems in brain tumors. These pre-trained and integrated deep learning models have been used on the publicly available dataset from The Cancer Genome Atlas. The dataset consists of 120 patients. The pre-trained models have been used to classify tumor or no tumor images, while integrated models are applied to segment the tumor region correctly. We have evaluated their performance in terms of loss, accuracy, intersection over union, Jaccard distance, dice coefficient, and dice coefficient loss. From pre-trained models, the U-Net model achieves higher performance than other models by obtaining 95% accuracy. In contrast, U-Net with ResNet-50 outperforms all other models from integrated pre-trained models and correctly classified and segmented the tumor region.  相似文献

In this paper, we present some novel results and ideas for robust and accurate implicit representation of geometric surfaces in finite element analysis. The novel contributions of this paper are threefold: (1) describe and validate a method to represent arbitrary parametric surfaces implicitly; (2) represent arbitrary solids implicitly, including sharp features using level sets and boolean operations; (3) impose arbitrary Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions on the resulting implicitly defined boundaries. The methods proposed do not require local refinement of the finite element mesh in regions of high curvature, ensure the independence of the domain’s volume on the mesh, do not rely on boundary regularization, and are well suited to methods based on fixed grids such as the extended finite element method (XFEM). Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed approach and show that it is possible to achieve optimal convergence rates using a fully implicit representation of object boundaries. This approach is one step in the desired direction of tying numerical simulations to computer aided design (CAD), similarly to the isogeometric analysis paradigm.  相似文献

Crack propagation in a series of epoxy resins described in Part 1 has been studied as a function of testing rate and temperature. It has been found that crack propagation is continuous at low temperatures but that as the temperature is raised the mode of propagation becomes unstable (stick/slip). Features on the fracture surfaces at the crack arrest lines have been shown to be of the same dimensions as those expected for a Dugdale plastic zone. It has been suggested that the slip process takes place by slow growth of a crack through the plastic zone followed by rapid propagation through virgin material. It has been shown that the stick/slip behaviour is due to blunting of the crack which is controlled by the yield behaviour of the resin. A unique fracture criterion has been shown to be applicable to epoxy resins which is that a critical stress of the order of three times the yield stress must be achieved at a critical distance ahead of the crack. Electron microscope replicas of the fracture surfaces have been obtained and an underlying nodular structure can be resolved. However, no direct correlation between the nodule size and fracture properties has been found.  相似文献

The relationship between the stability of crack propagation in, and the fracture surface appearance of, DGEBA epoxy resins cured with TETA has been investigated using a linear elastic fracture mechanics approach. In particular, the effect of varying the amount of curing agent and curing conditions and altering external variables such as testing rate, temperature and environment have been studied. Under certain conditions, propagation is found to be stable and fracture surfaces have a smooth appearance. Under other conditions the cracks propagate in an unstable stick-slip manner. In this case, arrest lines can be seen on the fracture surfaces and their intensity and roughness increases with the magnitude of the crack jumps. The roughness of the fracture surfaces has been measured using a Talysurf and this has been shown to be due principally to deviation of the cracks from the original fracture plane rather than any gross plastic deformation.  相似文献
