We investigate the effects of ZnO annealing temperature (TA) on the performance of inverted polymer solar cells with ZnO electron-selective layers deposited by spin coating aqueous solutions of an ammine-hydroxo zinc complex. The inverted solar cells based on poly(3-hexylthiophene):[6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester with TA as low as 80 °C exhibit power-conversion efficiencies of 3.6%, which is equal to those of devices with higher TA. Characterizations of the ZnO films using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy, grazing incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering, and optical transmittance measurements show that the abrupt improvement of device performance from TA = 60 to 80 °C is due to the improvement of energy-level alignment arising from the increases in the relative amount and the crystallinity of ZnO. 相似文献

In this study, we investigated the molecular and microstructures of thin poly(vinylidene fluoride-chlorotrifluoro ethylene) (PVDF-CTFE) copolymer films with three different CTFE compositions of 10, 15, 20 wt% with respect to PVDF in relation with their ferroelectric properties. All PVDF-CTFE annealed at 130 °C showed consecutive TTTT trans conformation with β type crystals while films molten and re-crystallized from a temperature above their melting points exhibited α type crystals with characteristic TGTG conformation. Microstructures of the films treated with the two different thermal histories also supported the formation of β and α type crystals with hundreds of nanometer scale sphere caps and micron level spherulites, respectively. Interestingly, PVDF-CTFE films with both α and β type crystals gave rise to relatively high remnant polarization of approximately 4 μC/cm2 in metal/ferroelectric/metal capacitors regardless of the composition of CTFE. The ferroelectric polarization of a PVDF-CTFE film independent of thermal processing history allowed a wide processing window and easy fabrication protocol, resulting in a non-volatile ferroelectric field effect transistor memory which exhibited saturated hysteresis loops with the current ON/OFF ratio of approximately 103 at ±60 V sweep and reliable data retention. 相似文献

The typical production of chitosan from crustacean shell consists of demineralization, deproteinization, decoloration, and deacetylation. Selected physicochemical and functional properties of chitosans as affected by various decoloration times (4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 h) using sun drying were evaluated. Moisture content (6.67-6.89 g/100 g), degree of deacetylation (81.91-82.73%), and color L∗ value (78.32-79.43) of chitosans were not affected by sun drying time. However, color a∗ and b∗ values decreased when sun drying time was over 4 h. The viscosity of chitosan solution (0.5 g/100 mL acetic acid) decreased gradually with increasing sun drying time, with a more pronounced effect observed at 8 h of sun drying. There was no change in water-binding capacity (WBC) of chitosans decolorized by sun drying between 4 and 6 h; however, further increase in sun drying time from 6 to 7 or 8 h increased WBC of chitosans. DPPH radical scavenging activity of chitosans increased with increasing sun drying time. This study demonstrated that white-colored chitosans could be produced by an alternative decoloration step using sun drying for 4 h following the deacetylation step. Response surface methodology (RSM) was used to determine the optimal roasting temperature and roasting time of coffee beans used for preparing brews with high antioxidant activity and sensory quality. Green coffee beans (Coffea arabica L. cv. Colombia Organic Tamata) were roasted at temperatures ranging from 140 to 220°C for 2–10 min and were then brewed with dripping hot water. The effects of the roasting conditions on the browning index, antioxidant activity, color, aroma, taste, and overall acceptability of the coffee brewed from the bean were investigated using a second-order central composite design. The quality indicators except the taste were significantly affected by roasting temperature and time, tending to increase and then decrease with increasing roasting temperature and time. Superimposed contour plots indicated that the optimal roasting temperature was 182°C and optimal roasting time was 7 min. 相似文献

Squid (Todarodes pacifica) pen was an excellent source of β‐chitin with 25.5% yield. The optimal condition to prepare squid pen β‐chitin was established: deproteinisation with 3% NaOH for 30 min at 15 psi/121 °C and a solid/solvent ratio of 1:10 (w/v) and a subsequent demineralisation with 1 N HCl for 30 min at room temperature and a solid/solvent ratio of 1:10 (w/v). Squid pen β‐chitin contained 6.29% nitrogen, 0.25% ash, and negligible fat with degree of acetylation of 94.02%, residual amino acid of 0.499 g/100 g and bulk density of 0.28 g mL?1. Depending on its particle size, squid pen β‐chitin visually looked white (L* = 82.82, a* = ?0.67, b* = 6.31; particle size of 0.15–0.18 mm) or light grey (L* = 62.88, a* = 0.33, b* = 10.66; particle size of 0.425–0.841 mm). The effects of annealing on the digestibility, morphology, and physicochemical characteristics of four types of granular sweet potato starches [Yulmi (YM), Yeonwhangmi (YHM), sweet potato starch from Samyang Genex (SSPS), and commercial sweet potato starch (CSPS)] were investigated. Annealing was performed at 55°C and 90% moisture content for 72 h. Morphology, the branched chain distribution of amylopectin, and the X-ray diffraction pattern remained unchanged during the annealing process. The slowly digestible starch content in annealed YM, YHM, and SSPS starches increased, but did not change in annealed CSPS. The gelatinization temperatures increased, but the gelatinization temperature range decreased with annealing. The swelling factor and amylose leaching decreased, while the close packing concentration increased. Rapid Visco Analyser analysis revealed that annealed starches possessed thermal stability and higher pasting temperatures. It is suggested that the enhanced packing arrangement formed during annealing impacts the digestibility and physicochemical properties of sweet potato starches. 相似文献

Inflammation is a pathological and physiological process which is known to be involved in numerous diseases, while it is notable that a considerable proportion of chronic inflammatory diseases overlap with the development of cancer. One of the most important proteins for inflammatory responses is inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS). The present study investigated the effect of the extract of Carpesium abrotanoides L. (ECA) on inflammation by modulating iNOS expression induced by toll-like receptors (TLRs) agonists in murine macrophages. ECA suppressed iNOS expression induced by lipopolysaccharide (TLR4 agonist), macrophage-activating lipopeptide 2-kDa (TLR2 and TLR6 agonist), and polyriboinosinic polyribocytidylic acid (TLR3 agonist). All the results suggest that ECA can modulate TLR signaling pathways and subsequent chronic inflammatory responses. 相似文献
