A rodlike polysiloxane (3) containing polyol moieties derived from the sugar has been synthesized by reaction of an amine-functionalized rodlike polysiloxane (1) with gluconolactone (2) in the presence of triethylamine in DMF. Formation of 3 was estimated by the IR and 1H NMR measurements. The functionality of 2 to the amino groups in 1 was ca. 75%, based on the 1H NMR spectrum of the product. The XRD profile of 3 showed three peaks for a typical hexagonal phase, and the d-value of (100) peak of 3 was larger than that of 1, indicating the regularly controlled higher-ordered structure of 3.  相似文献

Radiation detector was made of a high-quality CVD polycrystalline diamond composed of frost column like structure diamond grains, and induced charge distribution spectra and drift velocities were measured by using alpha particles. As a result, the CVD polycrystalline achieved maximum induced charge of 83% of HP/HT type IIa diamond. Moreover, the CVD crystal had lower charge loss on electrons compared with the HP/HT type IIa diamond. Drift velocities of electrons and holes were ve = 7.7 × 104 and vh = 7.3 × 104cm/s at an electric field of 20 kV/cm, respectively. In addition, response function measurement for 14 MeV neutrons was carried out.  相似文献

Radiation tolerance of a type IIa synthetic diamond detector was examined from irradiation of mono-energetic 14 MeV neutrons. Measurements of IV (current–voltage) characteristics and energy spectrum for 5.486 MeV alpha particles were performed after neutron irradiation. In the IV characteristics measurement, enhancement of rectification was observed after neutron irradiation of up to 2.0 × 1012 n/cm2. Concurrently with the enhancement of rectification, significant decrease in signal amplitude was observed in energy spectrum measurement for alpha particles. It is considered that these changes were due to increase in the concentration of defects acting as shallow energy levels in the forbidden band. For neutron irradiation of higher than 1.6 × 1013 n/cm2, weakening of the rectification characteristics and recovery of the signal amplitude were observed. These changes imply that deep energy levels, which were also considered to be introduced by defects, were dominant and weakened the effects of the shallow energy levels. Increase in the concentration of the deep trapping levels resulted in gradual decrease of the signal amplitude and degradation in the energy resolution. The peak for the alpha particles was obtained up to 5.5 × 1013 n/cm2.  相似文献

Oxygen uptake and release of (Li,Mn) ferrite [LMF; (Li0.60Mn1.20Fe1.20)1−δO4; δ= 0.007 to 0.033] was investigated concerning the relations between redox reactions of ferrite and cation migration. Mössbauer spectroscopy and X-ray diffractometry showed that some of the Li+ and Fe3+ ions migrated from the A sites to the B sites of the spinel-type structure and Mn4+ ions migrated from the B sites to the A sites during oxygen uptake at 573 K. The cation-deficient LMF formed by the oxygen uptake released oxygen molecules in He gas only at 660 K. The cation migration during the oxygen release was in the opposite direction of the movement during oxygen uptake at 573 K.  相似文献

For further improvement in achieving extremely high magnetic properties of Nd- Fe- B sintered magnets, extensive investigation has been done to densify the magnet up to the theoretical value, to increase the volume fraction of the Nd 2Fe14B matrix phase, and to achieve a high degree of alignment. By controlling chemical composition and the amount of constituent phases,improving particle size distribution, and adopting the isostatic pressing method to get better alignment of fine particles, we have succeeded in obtaining a high-performance magnet having residual flux density (Br) of 1.495 T (14.95 kG), maximum energy product [(BH)max] of 431 kj/m3 (54.2 MGOe), and intrinsic coercivity (iHc) of 845 kA/m (10.62 kOe).  相似文献

A new hair-conditioning agent, N-[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]docosanamide (APA-22) hydrochloric acid salt (APA-22 HCl), has excellent solubility in water with a solubility limit over 10-times larger than that of other APA hydrochloric salts with shorter alkyl chain lengths. The physicochemical characteristics of APA-22 HCl were studied at 25 degrees C by using equilibrium surface tension (gamma), solubilization of an oil-soluble dye, steady-state fluorescence, and chloride ion selective electrode techniques. The APA-22 HCl salt is considered to form an aggregate at a concentration, C(1), which is about twice the concentration of the solubility limit of APAs with shorter alkyl chains. At a higher concentration, C(2), the aggregates of APA-22 HCl start forming another kind of aggregate, which is able to solubilize oil-soluble materials. That is, C(1) is considered to represent the critical aggregation concentration (cac) and C(2) a morphology transition. In the concentration region between C(1) and C(2) the solutions are seemingly transparent whereas at above C(2) they appear bluish or translucent. Since the Krafft point of APA-22 HCl is 55 degrees C, all the solutions, including the aggregates, are thought to exist in metastable states. Notably, however, these metastable solutions do not change significantly over a few months. The excellent solubility of APA-22 HCl in water is considered to be a result of this unique stepwise aggregation with increasing concentration.  相似文献

Aromatic and functional polymers with processibility derived from biobased starting materials are prerequisite considering sustainable society. Poly(2,5-benzimidazole)s are rigid-rod polymers to show ultrahigh thermal stability such as flame retardance, while usually suffer from poor solubility. Here, poly(benzimidazole-co-amide)s are synthesized from two biobased monomers, 3,4-diaminobenzoic acid and a semirigid comonomer, 4-aminohydrocinnamic acid. The copolymers with an amide composition of 80 mol% and higher are soluble in widely used polar solvents to fabricate the films keeping high flame retardance, which is comparable with popular high-performance polymers such as aromatic polyimides, polyetheretherketone, polyphenylene sulfide, etc.  相似文献

Photoelectrochemical decomposition of bio-related compounds such as amino acids was investigated with a biophotochemical cell comprising a mesoporous TiO2 thin film photoanode and an O2-reducing cathode. It was concluded that a kind of Schottky junction formed at the surface of the TiO2 (called as liquid junction) induced the photodecomposition followed by generation of photocurrent/photovoltage. Complete photodecomposition was investigated by the CO2 formation yield. The photocurrent-photovoltage (J-V) characteristics of amino acids and other typical bio-related compounds were investigated, and the short circuit photocurrent (Jsc), open circuit photovoltage (Voc), and Fill factor (ff) were exhibited. Effect of pH on the photodecomposition of phenylalanine and cysteine were studied; for cysteine alkaline conditions gave a high efficiency, which was interpreted by the high electron-donating ability of the dissociated -S group. The incident light-to-current conversion efficiency (IPCE) of cysteine was 25% at 350 nm. It was for the first time shown that organic acids gave high internal quantum efficiency (η′) over 8 (=800%) in the photodecomposition; for oxalic acid it was 9.3 (=930%) and for butyric acid 8.2. The alternating current impedance spectroscopy of glycine showed that the cell performance is determined by the chemical reactions at TiO2 or Pt electrodes.  相似文献

Polypropylene-graft-poly(polyethylene glycol-methacrylate) (PP-g-P(PEGMA)), which is a hydrophobic-hydrophilic graft copolymer, was synthesized by a combination of an atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of PEGMA with brominated polypropylene (PP-Br), which was synthesized from PP-OH prepared by metallocene-catalyzed copolymerization. Its structure was confirmed by 1H NMR and GPC analyses. Transmission electron microscope (TEM) micrographs of PP-g-P(PEGMA) revealed the nanometer level microphase-separation morphology between the PP segment and the P(PEGMA) segment. The obtained PP-g-P(PEGMA) showed water-absorbing property as well as thermostability.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Aluminium alloys are nowadays preferred as materials for bridge guiderails especially for bridges connecting oceanic islands or spanning inlets due to their inherent corrosion resistance. But because of the limited mechanical strength of aluminium alloy, fasteners of guiderail members are made from steel materials. It has been found that contact between bare steel fasteners and aluminium alloy members can cause galvanic corrosion in the aluminium alloy. Research was carried out to investigate the capability of different surface treatments on fasteners and aluminium alloy members to inhibit galvanic corrosion under atmospheric exposure for periods of one and three years. It was found, among other results, that stainless steel fasteners treated with zinc flake coating were the most effective inhibitors of galvanic corrosion on aluminium alloy members.  相似文献
