A significant yield of aldehydes was obtained by the partial oxidation of ethane over alkali‐modified Fe/SiO2 catalysts at 475°C (<2% in the case of Cs–Fe/SiO2). Not only acetaldehyde and formaldehyde but also acrolein were produced in the present system. There are no reports regarding the catalysts for the direct acrolein formation from partial oxidation of ethane. Such significant promoting effect of alkali‐modified Fe/SiO2 catalysts in the partial oxidation of hydrocarbons has never been observed. Aldol‐type condensation for formation of acrolein could occur in the partial oxidation of ethane over alkali‐modified Fe/SiO2 catalysts. This paper presents a novel spread slotted Aloha system with channel load sensing protocol (CLSP). CLSP is an effective scheme to improve the throughput performance in spread unslotted Aloha systems. In spread slotted Aloha systems, however, it does not make sense to utilize CLSP because the slot size is usually the same as the packet size. The slot size of the proposed system is set less than the packet size, thereby enabling the authors to apply CLSP and improving the throughput performance. Another feature of the proposed system is that the system is not likely affected by the time difference between channel load sensing and timing of packet access, which they call the access timing delay. Throughput performance of the proposed system is evaluated in the presence of the access timing delay and a significant increase of the throughput is shown compared with that of spread unslotted Aloha with CLSP  相似文献

The catalytic activity of metal carbonyl complexes of chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, manganese, iron, cobalt, and nickel in the liquefaction of coal (Illinois No. 6, Wandoan and Mi-ike) was investigated. The carbonyl compounds of molybdenum, tungsten, iron, cobalt, and nickel acted as highly active catalysts for the liquefaction of Illinois No. 6 coal, resulting in high coal conversion (>90%) and high oil yield (>32%), under hydrogen pressure of 50 kg cm?1 in a nonhydrogen-donating solvent at 425°C for 60 min. Among the catalysts surveyed, Mo(CO)6 gave the highest oil yield (57.7%) and the largest amount of hydrogen transferred to coal (3.1 wt.% of d.a.f. coal). However, the molybdenum and tungsten carbonyls did not exhibit high catalytic activity for low sulfur Wandoan coal in the absence of added sulfur. On the other hand, cobalt and nickel carbonyls showed high catalytic activity irrespective of the amount of sulfur in the reaction system. Fe(CO)5Mo(CO)6 binary catalyst promoted hydroliquefaction of Wandoan coal, resulting in increases in oil yield and transfer of hydrogen to coal in the presence of sulfur.  相似文献

Catalytic steam gasification of Yallourn coal using sodium hydridotetracarbonyl ferrate was carried out in a semi-flow-type fixed-bed reactor at 873 and 973 K at atmospheric and high pressures. With Na[HFe(CO)4] (Fe 1.67 wt%, Na 0.68 wt%), the steam gasification of the coal was more highly promoted than with Na2CO3 (Na 2.17%) and the coal was almost completely burnt out. The gasification rate decreased with increasing carbon burnoff with or without catalyst at 873 K, but increased in the presence of the catalyst at 973 K. Under pressurized steam (0.4 MPa), the catalyst exhibited higher activity. The char, obtained from Yallourn coal under argon at 823 K for 2 h, gasified under steam partial pressures of 0.4 and 0.8 MPa behaved the same as the original coal and no increase in gasification rate with steam pressure was observed. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that Na[HFe(CO)4] was converted to Fe3O4 and Na2CO3 during the reaction.  相似文献

Antibodies specific to a particular target molecule can be used as analytical reagents, not only for in vitro immunoassays but also for noninvasive in vivo imaging, e.g., immunoscintigraphies. In the latter case, it is important to reduce the size of antibody molecules in order to achieve suitable in vivo "diagnostic kinetics" and generate higher-resolution images. For these purposes, single-chain Fv fragments (scFvs; M(r) < 30 kDa) have greater potential than intact immunoglobulins (~150 kDa) or Fab (or Fab') fragments (~50 kDa). Our recent observation of enhanced tenascin-C (Tnc) expression at sites of cardiac repair after myocardial infarction prompted us to develop a radiolabeled scFv against Tnc for in vivo imaging of heart disease. We cloned the genes encoding the heavy and light chain variable domains of the mouse anti-Tnc monoclonal antibody 4F10, and combined them to create a single gene. The resulting scFv-4F10 gene was expressed in E. coli cells to produce soluble scFv proteins. scFv-4F10 has an affinity for Tnc (K(a) = 3.5 × 10(7) M(-1)), similar to the Fab fragment of antibody 4F10 (K(a) = 1.3 × 10(7) M(-1)) and high enough to be of practical use. A cysteine residue was then added to the C-terminus to achieve site-specific (111)In labeling via a chelating group. The resulting (111)In-labeled scFv was administered to a rat model of acute myocardial infarction. Biodistribution and quantitative autoradiographic studies indicated higher uptake of the radioactivity at the infarcted myocardium than the noninfarcted one. Single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) provided in vivo cardiac images that coincided with the ex vivo observations. Our results will promote advances in diagnostic strategies for heart disease.  相似文献

Mass spectrometry was used to monitor in-situ gaseous species that were generated at the head-disk interface (HDI) in a high vacuum. It was found that the end groups of the lubricants significantly affected the wear durability at the HDI; piperonyl (–CH2-phe = (O)2 = CH2) terminated Fomblin AM3001 lubricant exhibited longer life than hydroxyl (–OH) terminated Fomblin ZDOL lubricant. The continuous removal of the lubricants resulted in a continuously increasing friction coefficient. Further, the characteristics of tribochemical reactions of the lubricants (Fomblin Z series) with different end groups was investigated in details using Time-of-Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectroscopy (TOF-SIMS) just after the sliding tests. It was found that the decomposition of the end groups was more significant than that of the backbone. The lubricants terminated with the following groups showed the following order of increasing decomposition: –CH2O-CH2-phe = (O)2 = CH2 (AM3001), –CH2OH (ZDOL) < –CH2OCH2CH(OH)CH2OH (Z Tetraol) < –CH2(OCH2CH2)nOH (ZDOL-TX), –COOH (Z Diac). The decomposition of the lubricants appeared to start from the end groups.  相似文献

Brandin and Wonham have developed a supervisory control framework for timed discrete event systems (TDESs) in order to deal with not only logical specifications but also temporal specifications. Lin and Wonham have extended this framework to the partial observation case, and presented necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a nonblocking supervisor under partial observation. In this paper, we define a new class of supervisors for TDESs under partial observation. We then present necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a nonblocking supervisor defined in this paper. These existence conditions of our supervisor are weaker than those of Lin and Wonham's supervisor. Note, however, that the price that must be paid to weaken the existence conditions is the higher computational cost. Moreover, given a closed regular language, we study computation of a sublanguage that satisfies the existence conditions of our supervisor. We present an algorithm for computing such a sublanguage larger than the supremal closed, controllable, and normal sublanguage.  相似文献

A permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with nonsinusoidal electromotive force (EMF) generates torque ripple even if the sinusoidal PWM inverter drives the PMSM. A new modified trapezoidal modulating signal for PWM inverter suitable for PMSM drive with nonsinusoidal EMF is proposed in this paper. A new modulating signal for the PMSM drive is determined by the condition of reducing torque ripple of the motor with various trapezoidal EMF. When the PWM inverter using modified trapezoidal modulating signal drives the PMSM having a nonsinusoidal EMF, the torque ripple of the motor can be reduced, the DC link voltage utilization is improved, and reduction of switching loss can be obtained. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We study the properties of the power-transformation model to improve the nonadditivity in regression, proposed by Goto (1992). This power additive transformation (PAT) model is an extension of the Box and Cox power transformation (BCPT) model and then includes the Bleasdale’s simplified model and the one-compartment model as special cases. We describe the procedure to obtain the maximum likelihood estimates of the PAT model and discuss some issues in the maximum likelihood estimation, especially the consistency of the estimates and the effect of the error variance on the parameter estimation. We also provide two examples to illustrate the aspect of the PAT model, compared with the BCPT model. The results suggest that the PAT model provides reasonable transformations for improving the non-additivity in the data and is useful for identifying the nonlinear function form even when there is no strong knowledge on the data-generating process.
