Ochratoxin A (OTA), a nephrotoxic mycotoxin probably implicated in human Balkan endemic nephropathy and associated urothelial tumors, induces renal carcinomas in rodents and nephrotoxicity in pigs. OTA induces DNA-adduct formation, but the structure of the adducts and their role in nephrotoxicity and carcinogenicity have only partly been elucidated. In vivo, 2-mercaptoethane sulfonate (MESNA) protects rats against OTA-induced nephrotoxicity but not against carcinogenicity, indicating two different mechanisms leading to nephrotoxicity or carcinogenicity. To better understand how DNA-adduct could be generated, opossum kidney cells (OK) have been treated by OTA alone or in presence of several compounds such as MESNA or N-acetylcysteine (another agent that, like MESNA, reduces oxidative stress by increasing of free thiols in kidney), buthionine sulfoximine (BSO) (an inhibitor of glutathione-synthase), and alpha amino-3-chloro-4,5-dihydro-5-isoxazole acetic acid (ACIVICIN) (an inhibitor of gamma glutamyl transpeptidase). Cytotoxicity of OTA on OK cells was evaluated by applying the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay. None of the listed agents diminished OTA cytotoxicity significantly; ACIVICIN even increases OTA cytotoxicity. In contrast, analysis of the HPLC profiles of OTA metabolites produced during these incubations indicated that the pattern, the quantity of metabolites, and the nature of the derivatives were modulated by these agents. Ochratoxin B (OTB), open-ring ochratoxin A (OP-OA), 4 hydroxylated OTA, 10 hydroxylated OTA, OTA without phenylalanine, OTB without phenylalanine, and a dechlorinated OTA metabolite could be identified by nano-ESI-IT-MS.  相似文献

An innovative method for device characterization is developed to qualify microelectronic devices. The method is based on parameter extraction from the junction I–V characteristics. Their evolution during electrical aging and ionizing radiation experiments allows an evaluation of the magnitude of the degradation. Results obtained with commercial samples show a signature of both manufacturer and technological processes. This method is easy to implement in a control process for device characterization.  相似文献

In this work, we studied a nanocomposite material made from fluoroplastic which contains 20 wt.% multi-walled nanotubes. In order to complete the present work, we have used different thermodynamic and mechanical techniques. The introduction of nanotubes in the F4 polymer matrix has completely changed the tribological and thermodynamic properties of the studied nanocomposite material. The compression strength becomes 20% higher than that of the F4 polymer matrix. Meanwhile the wear resistance achieves an order of magnitude 100 times greaterthan that of F4. Moreover, a friction coefficient is about 25% to 30% lower than that of a similar material and especially that of F4 material. Differential scanning calorimetric study showed that the glassy phase transition appears at about 330°C, which confirms that the degradation of the studied nanocomposite occurs at relatively higher temperature. This result confirms the one concerning the change in tribological properties. Dilatometric study revealed that the thermal expansion coefficient has been increased. The observed relative elongation measurement change depends on the direction along which the measurement has been done and confirms, in turn, the anisotropic character of the studied material. These results suggest that the metallic materials could be replaced by nanocomposite compounds which present good physical properties.  相似文献

We employ the full-potential linearized augmented plane wave plus local orbital (FP L/APW + lo) method based on the density functional theory (DFT) in order to investigate the structural, elastic, electronic, and magnetic properties of ordered dilute ferromagnetic semiconductors Ga1?x Mn x P and In1?x Mn x P at (x = 0.25) in the zinc blende phase, using generalized gradient approximation, GGA (PBE). To our knowledge the elastic constants of these compounds have not yet been measured or calculated, hence our results serve as a first quantitative theoretical prediction for future study. Results of calculated electronic structures and magnetic properties reveal that both Ga0.75Mn0.25P and In0.75Mn0.25P have stable ferromagnetic ground state, and they are ideal half-metallic (HM) ferromagnetic at their equilibrium lattice constants. Also we show the nature of the bonding from the charge spin-densities calculations. The calculated total magnetic moments are 4.0 μB per unit cell for both Ga0.75Mn0.25P and In0.75Mn0.25P, which agree with the Slater–Pauling rule quite well, and we observe that p–d hybridization reduces the local magnetic moment of Mn from its free space charge value and produces smaller local magnetic moments on the nonmagnetic Ga, In and P sites. The values of N 0α and N 0β exchange constants confirm the magnetic nature of these compounds. From the robust half-metallicity of Ga0.75Mn0.25P and In0.75Mn0.25P as a function of lattice constant is also investigated.  相似文献

In order to make a wind power generation truly cost-effective and reliable, an advanced control techniques must be used. In this paper, we develop a new control strategy, using nonlinear generalized predictive control (NGPC) approach, for DFIG-based wind turbine. The proposed control law is based on two points: NGPC-based torque-current control loop generating the rotor reference voltage and NGPC-based speed control loop that provides the torque reference. In order to enhance the robustness of the controller, a disturbance observer is designed to estimate the aerodynamic torque which is considered as an unknown perturbation. Finally, a real-time simulation is carried out to illustrate the performance of the proposed controller.  相似文献

In this study, a FEM analysis has been carried out to find out pertinent multi-scale model for an investigation of a ballistic impact on 2D KM2® plain-woven fabrics. Multi-scale models are a combination between macroscopic and mesoscopic models. This study aims at testing a multi-scale model in order to minimize the computing time. Three configurations were analyzed by varying the ratio of macroscopic and mesoscopic areas: 75.3–24.7%, 65.5–34.5%, 56.3–43.7% with two impact velocities 60 m/s and 245 m/s. In these multi-scale models, the continuity in macroscopic–mesoscopic interfaces is ensured by checking the evolution of global displacements of the fabric during impact. The effect of the macroscopic area of multi-scale models on the ballistic performance of the fabric is also investigated. The optimal multi-scale model was validated by comparison with results obtained from a mesoscopic model in terms of the evolutions of the projectile velocity, energy forms, the overall behavior of the fabric during impact and the force applied on the projectile. The failure criterion Forming Limited Diagram (FLD) is suggested for bundle failure. The observed damage mechanisms of the fabric during penetration time of the projectile are discussed and compared among numerical models.  相似文献
