Polymer film-type channel electron multipliers (CEMs) were developed and their characteristics investigated in comparison with bulk-type flexible CEM. As film-type CEMs, a paint-coating-type CEM and a solvent-etching-type CEM were fabricated. The paint-coating-type CEM is made by coating a “paint” which is prepared by dissolving in a solvent an electronically conductive polymeric composition having a high secondary electron emission yield. Up to the present study the mean gain of the film-type CEM, in spite of the lower resistivity of the dynode, seems to be slightly more dependent on the count rate than that of the bulk-type CEM made of the same material. However, the convenience of fabricating the dynode film by coating the dynode-forming paint on the internal surface of any shaped tube or a flexible polymer tube would overcome the slight disadvantage mentioned above. 相似文献

In the present paper, by using a mathematical model for self-propagating high-temperature synthesis, we reveal the three-dimensional structure of so-called spin combustion wave on the inside of cylindrical sample. It is shown that an isothermal surface of regular spin combustion wave has some wings of which number is the same as that of reaction spots on the cylindrical surface and that the isothermal surface with helical wings rotates down with time. Because of this propagating pattern, in this paper, we adopt the more suitable term helical wave. We also obtain the following existence conditions of a helical wave: If physical parameters are set so that a pulsating wave exists stably for the one-dimensional problem, then a helical wave takes the place of a pulsating wave when the radius of cylindrical sample becomes large. 相似文献

We evaluated the redistribution profiles of ion-implanted impurities during solid-phase epitaxy using Rutherford backscattering spectrometry (RBS). RBS data revealed that the As concentration changes only near the moving amorphous/crystal interface. We derived an analytical model for the redistribution profiles using a segregation coefficient m between amorphous and crystalline Si, introduced a parameter of reaction length l that is the distance where impurities were exchanged, and obtained good agreement with experimental data with an m value of 3 and an l value of 1 nm for As. Furthermore, we applied our model to P and B redistribution profiles and obtained good agreement with corresponding m value of 4 and l value of 1 nm for P and m value of 0.3 and l value of 1 nm for B 相似文献

The main objective of this study is to devise a technique, which, when implemented into finite-element codes, is efficiently applicable to impact collapse analyses of framed structures. In this study, the formerly developed adaptively shifted integration (ASI) technique for the linear Timoshenko beam element is modified into the ASI-Gauss technique by placing the numerical integration points of the two consecutive elements forming an elastically deformed member in such a way that stresses and strains are evaluated at the Gaussian integration points of the two-element member. On comparison with the ASI technique, the ASI-Gauss technique proves its higher accuracy and efficiency in elastic range. Moreover, instead of applying impact loads in the form of nodal forces, we consider the impact phenomenon by means of contacts between the elements involved and the elemental contact algorithm is verified from the point of conservation of energy. Impact analyses considering member fracture with different sets of parameters are performed using a high-rise framed structure and a small aircraft. From the results obtained, we can observe propagation phenomena of impact loads and shock waves. Also, a proper difference in impact damage is obtained by different sets of parameters. The results also indicate that the mass of the aircraft has a stronger influence on impact damage than its velocity. Moreover, soon after impact, tensile stresses are observed in the columns that were compressed by dead loads before impact. 相似文献

Amorphous SnOx films were deposited by ion-beam sputtering on sintered alumina substrates. Amorphous film sensors were prepared by annealing the films at 300° C for 2 h in air. The thickness dependence of resistivity and hydrogen gas sensitivity were measured at 150° C over the thickness range 1 to 700 nm. A resistivity maximum was observed in ultrathin films. Resistivity increased by three orders of magnitude with increasing film thickness from 0.9 to 7.4 nm and then decreased by five orders of magnitude from 7.4 to 35 nm. Ultrathin film sensors showed sensitivity maxima around a thickness of 10 nm. Sensitivity and resistivity of ultrathin films were significantly influenced by the thermal expansion coefficient and the surface state of the substrate. 相似文献

Essential oils and cuticular waxes were extracted from peppermint leaves with supercritical carbon dioxide in a semicontinuous-flow extractor. The effects of CO2 flow rate and pressure on the extraction rate were studied within the flow rate range of (4·1–9·8) × 10−5 kg s−1 and the pressure range of 10–30 MPa. Flow rate effect indicated that the intraparticle diffusion resistance was not dominant in this process. The extraction rate of cuticular waxes increased remarkably with the pressure, whereas that of essential oils was almost constant as compared with cuticular waxes. The concentration of cuticular waxes at the exit of the extractor was close to the solubility of triacontane while that of essential oils was much lower than the solubility of 1-menthol. 相似文献
