Development of interactive virtual models of the urban landscape of the historical center of Nizhni Novgorod

This work explains the need to create a 3D model of the urban landscape of the historical center of Nizhni Novgorod. The comparative characteristics of different approaches to the model visualization are given. The benefits of interactive real-time visualization are shown. Some recommendations on how to achieve real-time photorealistic visualization are given.     

The Information-Expert System for Investigation of Structural and Mechanical Properties of Materials

This paper is devoted to the presentation of approaches applied to the development of an information-expert system for the investigation of structural-mechanical properties of materials. The demand for such a system follows from the necessity of the solution of an important technological problem, namely, automation of the process of developing essential products with rigidly regulated functional properties. Technology of remote access to raster images

Technology for remote access to large-scale raster images with the use of global data communication networks is proposed. The suggested methods make it possible to take advantage of the hierarchical coding of images and take into account the special features of geographic information systems. On the Universal Curve in Superplasticity Mechanics

We have carried out a series of tests (tensile, compression, torsion, and tension+torsion) of a superplastic titanium alloy VT9 at 950°C, with strain-rate intensity _e = 5 10^-4 - 1 10^-2 s ^-1 . By plotting and analyzing the stress intensity vs strain-rate intensity curves for this material, we justified the validity of the universal curve hypothesis for finite strains with an accuracy acceptable in engineering practice.
