我们报道了一种厚度为20mm的14英寸平板投影显示屏,其亮度可达5000尼特、分辨率为600×800。这种显示器由现成的有机玻璃制成,使用只带梯形预畸变的无需调节的视频投影仪。在厚度为20mm对角线为50英寸屏幕上光学模拟预示XGA分辨率,亮度为500尼特、对比度与传统投影仪相当。  相似文献

Lymph nodes are assessed routinely in clinical practice and their size is followed throughout radiation or chemotherapy to monitor the effectiveness of cancer treatment. This paper presents a robust learning-based method for automatic detection and segmentation of solid lymph nodes from CT data, with the following contributions. First, it presents a learning based approach to solid lymph node detection that relies on marginal space learning to achieve great speedup with virtually no loss in accuracy. Second, it presents a computationally efficient segmentation method for solid lymph nodes (LN). Third, it introduces two new sets of features that are effective for LN detection, one that self-aligns to high gradients and another set obtained from the segmentation result. The method is evaluated for axillary LN detection on 131 volumes containing 371 LN, yielding a 83.0% detection rate with 1.0 false positive per volume. It is further evaluated for pelvic and abdominal LN detection on 54 volumes containing 569 LN, yielding a 80.0% detection rate with 3.2 false positives per volume. The running time is 5-20 s per volume for axillary areas and 15-40 s for pelvic. An added benefit of the method is the capability to detect and segment conglomerated lymph nodes.  相似文献

In this work we first describe an asynchronous‐feedback model which corresponds to the diverse roundtrip times (RTTs) of competing flows within the same communication channel. We show that even when the feedback of the receivers/network is asynchronous, the duration of a congestion epoch represents ‘common knowledge’ for the competing flows. Based on this property, we propose a diverse linear increase scheme in proportion to the RTT of each flow and we adjust periodically the windows of the competing flows accordingly, in order to enhance fairness of asynchronous‐feedback environments. We name this scheme τ‐AIMD and show that fairness of flows in asynchronous systems is improved since the increase‐rate diversity of long and short RTT flows is largely canceled. We use the max–min notion of fairness to show that τ‐AIMD can constitute the foundation for other window‐based, end‐to‐end algorithms that target a good balance between efficiency and fairness. The potential of transient liquid-phase (TLP) bonding for chip packaging applications has been evaluated, focusing on three interlayer arrangements (Ag-Sn-Ag, Ni-Sn-Ni, and Ag-Sn-Ni). Shear tests on TLP-bonded components provided the interlayer-dependent mechanical strength as well as failure mode and position. Critical local stresses, i.e., failure criteria, within the intermetallic compound (IMC) layer were derived by replicating the shear test conditions with finite-element methods. The missing coefficient of thermal expansion for Ag3Sn IMC was obtained by producing small IMC bulk samples and subjecting them to dilatometric measurements. The experimental results were implemented into a finite-element model of a representative power module architecture to provide first predictions on thermally induced residual stresses that could be classified into fail/safe, as successfully validated by TLP chip bonding experiments. A numerical parameter study then assessed thermal stresses, including failure prediction and design optimization for TLP-bonded Si chips, considering the influence of process temperature, service conditions, TLP interlayer system, and metallization layers within the TLP joint. The presented procedure serves as a guideline to choose an appropriate TLP interlayer system for predefined boundary conditions, or vice versa.  相似文献

This paper presents a protocol called Software Attestation for Key Establishment (SAKE), for establishing a shared key between any two neighboring nodes of a sensor network. SAKE guarantees the secrecy and authenticity of the key that is established, without requiring any prior authentic or secret cryptographic information in either node. In other words, the attacker can read and modify the entire memory contents of both nodes before SAKE executes. Further, to the best of our knowledge, SAKE is the only protocol that can perform key re-establishment after sensor nodes are compromised, because the presence of the attacker’s code in the memory of either protocol participant does not compromise the security of SAKE. Also, the attacker can perform any active or passive attack using an arbitrary number of malicious, colluding nodes. SAKE does not require any hardware modification to the sensor nodes, human mediation, or secure side channels. However, we do assume the setting of a computationally-limited attacker that does not introduce its own computationally-powerful nodes into the sensor network.SAKE is based on Indisputable Code Execution (ICE), a primitive we introduce in previous work to dynamically establish a trusted execution environment on a remote, untrusted sensor node.  相似文献

A miniaturized couple-line-fed planar ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna is proposed, which has a dual band-notched characteristic as well as two integrated monopoles. Narrowband notches are generated at frequencies of 3.5 GHz and 5.5 GHz using independently controlled bent resonators, whereas the monopoles are designed for radiation at 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz. The proposed design is simulated with full wave solvers and verified with measurements. A good agreement is observed between the simulations and measurements for the antenna's return loss, gain and radiation pattern performances.  相似文献

We fabricate thin epitaxial crystal silicon solar cells on display glass and fused silica substrates overcoated with a silicon seed layer. To confirm the quality of hot‐wire chemical vapor deposition epitaxy, we grow a 2‐µm‐thick absorber on a (100) monocrystalline Si layer transfer seed on display glass and achieve 6.5% efficiency with an open circuit voltage (VOC) of 586 mV without light‐trapping features. This device enables the evaluation of seed layers on display glass. Using polycrystalline seeds formed from amorphous silicon by laser‐induced mixed phase solidification (MPS) and electron beam crystallization, we demonstrate 2.9%, 476 mV (MPS) and 4.1%, 551 mV (electron beam crystallization) solar cells. Grain boundaries likely limit the solar cell grown on the MPS seed layer, and we establish an upper bound for the grain boundary recombination velocity (SGB) of 1.6x104 cm/s. In this paper, an 8-bit 1.2 Gsample/s single-slope ADC architecture is presented. The proposed technique utilizes the picosecond-accurate phases of a rotary traveling wave oscillator (RTWO). The proof-of-concept test chip is fabricated in a 0.18-μm CMOS process and occupies 1.3 mm  ×  1.3 mm of die area. Power consumption is 36 mW for the core and 135 mW for on-chip clocks.  相似文献

Following the fundamental research conducted by J. B. Goodenough, the important role of electron localization induced by elemental substitution is studied. The size and electron negativity of host and substituting ions are two important factors in tuning material properties such as local structure and transition metal (TM) oxygen covalency. However, another factor, electron localization, which is widely studied in catalyst research but largely overlooked for battery materials, deserves systematic studies. A combined investigation using synchrotronbased X-ray spectroscopy and theoretical calculations is carried out on the Li-Co-Mn-O model system in which the substituting cation Mn4+, with its 3d3 electronic structure, is used as a promoter for electron localization. Results indicate that electron localization greatly influences the Co O bond by making it less covalent, which increases the delithiation voltage. It is also found that during charge/discharge, electron localization tends to make TM K-edge X-ray absorption near edge spectroscopy (XANES) spectra show a more “rigid shift” behavior while electron delocalization makes the XANES exhibit a “shape change.” It clearly explains why the K-edge XANES data of some TM oxides show no “rigid shift” while the nominal valence states changed. This work highlights the importance of electron localization with guidance for XANES interpretation.  相似文献
