Nowadays, with the increase in the amount of power generation related to renewable energy resources, the need for energy storage and management is raised. In this regard, the hydrogen energy plays a critical role in the development of renewable technologies. In view of the above, advanced controller design is presented in this paper to effectively perform load frequency control of islanded fuel cell microgrid based on the wind turbine, photovoltaic, fuel cell, electrolyzer, battery energy storage systems, and residential and commercial loads. The controller design is based on the determination of the controller parameters that the fuel cell microgrid system will provide the desired dynamic properties. In the proposed controller design, virtual gain and phase margin testers are added to provide the desired dynamic properties. The controller's stable parameter plane is determined with the help of the stability boundary locus method, taking into account time delay, gain, and phase margin. First, the accuracy of the stable parameter plane determined for the proposed controller design is demonstrated by means of time domain and eigenvalue analyzes. Finally, in order to show the performance of the advanced controller design and the success of the fuel cell as a backup generator, analysis studies have been carried out using actual data of solar and wind, and appropriate changes of load in studied microgrid. 相似文献

This paper presents design and evaluation of a mechanical nanomanufacturing system for performing the nanomilling process. The nanomilling process uses a nanotool (an atomic force microscope probe tip) that is rotated at high speeds to fabricate three-dimensional (3D) nano-scale features on a sample surface. After explaining the kinematics of the two nanomilling process configurations, the nanomilling system, including the 3D piezoelectric actuator that rotates the nanotool, the nanopositioning stage that provides the feeding and depth motions, and the software program that controls the nanomilling motions are described. A measurement system is then constructed to measure the dynamic nanomilling motions. A compensation algorithm is developed to enable obtaining desired nanotool motions in the presence of frequency and amplitude-dependent nonlinearities of the 3D piezoelectric actuator. The nanomilling system is then evaluated directly by measuring the nanotool motions, and indirectly by assessing the accuracy of the fabricated nanoscale features. It was shown that the nanomilling system facilitates fabrication of complex nano-scale features with high accuracy through the high-stiffness nanotool assembly and high-frequency (compensated) nanotool motions. 相似文献

The manipulation of single magnetic molecules may enable new strategies for high-density information storage and quantum-state control. However, progress in these areas depends on developing techniques for addressing individual molecules and controlling their spin. Here, we report success in making electrical contact to individual magnetic N@C(60) molecules and measuring spin excitations in their electron tunnelling spectra. We verify that the molecules remain magnetic by observing a transition as a function of magnetic field that changes the spin quantum number and also the existence of non-equilibrium tunnelling originating from low-energy excited states. From the tunnelling spectra, we identify the charge and spin states of the molecule. The measured spectra can be reproduced theoretically by accounting for the exchange interaction between the nitrogen spin and electron(s) on the C(60) cage. 相似文献
