Relations between parents' depressed mood, marital conflict, parent-child hostility, and children's adjustment were examined in a community sample of 136 ten-year-olds and their parents. Videotaped observational and self-report data were used to examine these relations in path analyses. A proposed model was tested in which mothers' and fathers' depressed mood and marital hostility were associated with children's adjustment problems through disruptions in parent-child relationships. Results showed that both mothers' and fathers' marital hostility were linked to parent-child hostility, which in turn was linked to children's internalizing problems. Fathers' depressed mood was linked to children's internalizing problems indirectly through father-child hostility. Fathers' depressed mood was directly linked to children's externalizing problems and indirectly linked through father-child hostility. For mothers, marital hostility was directly linked to children's externalizing problems, and marital hostility in fathers was indirectly linked to children's externalizing problems through father-child hostility. The triplet exciton and polaron dynamics in phosphorescent dye (PtOEP) blended polymer (MEH‐PPV) photovoltaic devices are investigated by quasi‐steady‐state photo‐induced absorption (PIA) spectroscopy. According to the low‐temperature PIA and photoluminescence (PL) results, the increase in strength of the triplet‐triplet (T1‐Tn) absorption of MEH‐PPV in the blend system originates from the triplet‐triplet energy transfer from PtOEP to MEH‐PPV. The PtOEP blended MEH‐PPV/C60 bilayer photovoltaic device shows a roughly 30%–40% enhancement in photocurrent and power‐conversion efficiency compared to the device without PtOEP. However, in contrast to the bilayer device results, the bulk heterojunction photovoltaic devices do not show a noticeable change in photocurrent and power‐conversion efficiency in the presence of PtOEP. The PIA intensity, originating from the polaron state, is only slightly higher (within the experimental error), indicating that carrier generation in the bulk heterojunction is not enhanced in the presence of PtOEP. The rate and probability of the exciton dissociation between PtOEP and PCBM is much faster and higher than that of the triplet‐triplet energy transfer between PtOEP and MEH‐PPV. 相似文献

A resolution based proof system for a Temporal Logic of Possible Belief is presented. This logic is the combination of the branching-time temporal logic CTL (representing change over time) with the modal logic KD45 (representing belief ). Such combinations of temporal or dynamic logics and modal logics are useful for specifying complex properties of multi-agent systems. Proof methods are important for developing verification techniques for these complex multi-modal logics. Architectural structures such as masonry walls or columns exhibit a slender verticality, in contrast to the squat, sloped forms obtained with typical unconfined granular materials. Here we demonstrate the ability to create freestanding, weight-bearing, similarly slender and vertical structures by the simple pouring of suitably shaped dry particles into a mold that is subsequently removed. Combining experiments and simulations we explore a family of particle types that can entangle through their non-convex, hooked shape. We show that Z-shaped particles produce granular aggregates which can either be fluid and pourable, or solid and rigid enough to maintain vertical interfaces and build freestanding columns of large aspect ratio (\(>\)10) that support compressive loads without external confinement. We investigate the stability of such columns with uniaxial compression, bending, and vibration tests and compare with other particle types including U-shaped particles and rods. We find a pronounced anisotropy in the internal stress propagation together with strong strain-stiffening, which stabilizes rather than destabilizes the structures under load. 相似文献

systems. Human Factors Integration (HFI), the structured management process for ensuring the capture and accommodation of
human capabilities and limitations in design has, however, a mixed record of success within military system developments.
This paper describes research conducted by the HFI Defence Technology Centre (HFI DTC) to identify and address the barriers
to HFI through the development of processes, methods and tools. Future changes in the operational context and military doctrine
